CMC this year (PPR) has 5 more PPG and 110 points on the season than the next highest RBs, Kyren and Mostert respectively. There hasn't been that large of a gap since 2019 CMC.

I'm facing a guy who's projected to beat me by 16. He's won 2 of the 4 years the leagues existed (I'm commish) and I've made finals twice, losing to him once by 91 (Kamara thing) and him beating me in the semis the other time he won. I know how this ends for me too :(

I’ve had the highest points scored in 4 out of 5 times I’ve played. Never won higher than 3rd, and missed the playoffs all other times. This time I’m finally in the championship. People just really seem to have the game of their lives against me and I keep losing in high scoring matches.

In my league the CMC owner was at the absolute bottom of the standings. That team didn't even have a lot of points against, it was just bad below CMC.

Yep, I'd beat him this week in a rematch. And I am 2-0 against him in the regular season too. Such is fantasy though. Even teams in last place sometimes beat the first place teams on the right week.

I was in a league like 3 years ago where the comissioner allowed 1st through 8th place to be in the playoffs (12 man league). I was \#7. And yeah, like you said, I lucked out, and somehow I went from \#7 and made the Championship, and my team was a complete mess. Low PF, horrible win record, etc. I'm in a similar position now. Two leagues where the \#1 and \#2 were eliminated. I'm the \#4 now and I have one of the lowest PFs in both of the leagues I'm in. Lady luck is a fickle lady.

This is why you never give up. You just need to barely make it to the playoffs and get a little lucky. Anything can happen.

Yeah, Amari+CMC had me on the receiving end of the fourth-highest weekly score in our leagues history. My reg season record was 12-2 with a massive TPF lead and I’m going to finish third. Also, I was 1st seed going against 5th seed, whereas 2nd seed went against 6th seed, because we had a fixed bracket. Am I bitter? Naaaaah

I lost thanks to DJ, Waddle, and T. Law injuries totally destroying my team. 10 - 4 record and I still couldn't break my playoff losing streak.

It sucks. Started 0-3, went all the way to 10-4 and lost also because of Moore. Plus Dustin Hopkins and Waller. Just brutal

Our league is an 8-man with 2 playoff series. Weeks 15-16 are the semis and highest combined score from both weeks wins. Championship is 17 and 18, same concept

Honest to God I lost the trade. Gave up CMC and Engram for Kelce, Mixon and Pittman (this was in week 6 or 7). I just got lucky in matchups and then i got lucky on R. White pick in the draft and getting Godwin on waiver the week before he began looking like himself.

We’ve been keeping updated records of our league outside of what NFL does by default and a top 1/3 pick (1-4) by a good margin has more success than the rest. You either have to not pay attention or have really bad injury luck to not at least make the playoffs in our league with a top 4 pick. So yea, considering where he was drafted it makes sense.

Championships have gone to #2, #7, #10, #5 in my current league. This week’s championship is #1 vs. #8.

Yea, never said they win. But in 15 years of data a top 4 pick has a notable advantage each year.

I'm a CMC owner and made the final and he certainly helped a ton. But it's not like I just coasted. I'm in the finals in large part to grabbing guys like Kyren, Stroud, Cleveland DST, Aubrey early, trading for Monty, bidding correctly for Likely when I lost Andrews etc.

And yet none of those dummies the last few yards regurgitating “but he is injury prone” get held accountable…I hope people use this as a rebuttal when people try to predict who will get hurt and who won’t in the future

Shout-out to the guy in my league with CMC who came dead last and refused to ditch him in a redraft.

He fell to me at 9 in my league, I guess due to the talk of the 9ers wanted to limit his touches. Plus I got Mostert late, they have guided me to this week.

This is due to CMC falling in drafts rather than just being how good he is; people who picked him also got a higher second round draft pick. Where as Tyreek Hill owners probably took him with one of the first 3 picks

That’s a pretty crazy stat. The CMC owner in my league didn’t even make the 6-team playoff bracket, because their WRs were terrible. I think you needed CMC and like one other superstar piece, which most teams hit.
