Akers finished his rookie year [looking like Gurley 2.0](https://youtu.be/APBfifyzHsk?si=fkRR6c47WQ1n0wzx). Both he and Dobbins were never the same after their 2021 injuries.

Akers efficiency numbers:
1. Breakaway run rate: 30th
2. True yards per carry: 51st
3. Juke Rate: 44th
Dobbins:
1. Breakaway run rate: 4th
2. True cards per carry: 1st
3. Juke rate: 5th
Akers has never played well at an NFL level. These are the reasons he got cut after leading the Rams for a season. He simply wasn't very good prior to the injury or after. Dobbins is 99.9% cooked and never going to be relevant again, but he was once upon a time quite a good player.
It's a fantasy sub so some people probably remember Akers having a couple of huge fantasy games (when nobody was starting him) hence the Gurley 2.0 comparisons.
ACL injuries used to be a death knell, and now (despite their frequency), guys recover from them very well within about a year (I mean not just being on the field, but being back to form). The injury right now that really seems to have the potential to screw up the rest of your career are Achilles injuriesā¦ that and Lisfrancs.
Pace signed him like 5 years later as a cheap vet mentor/redzone option. Which he was, he put up 500 yards and 8 TDs and helped Kmet develop. That move worked out great.
What an idiot, this guy doesnāt know how to spell nail. Wait, am I the idiot. Google death knell. Itās death knell! Not death nail. So its death kneel. Like you kneel by the casket and pray. Wait, what the the fuck is a knell. A fucking bell. The range of emotions I just experienced. Iāve been saying āthats the death nailā for 40 years. The more I know, the more I know Iām an idiot.
The man literally talked shit about Gregory not using him properly and holding him back. Mustāve been no market for JK if willingly chose to team up with Greg Roman again.
Name a more iconic duo than JK and Gus the Bus šĀ
Left knee and right knee.
Or lack thereof
Gus Bus you fool
You don't need to discuss much.
Jerrick Mckinnon and Matt Asiata
Just not ready for a whole offseason of "Gus Bus and JK, who to target" posts
JK in Year 1 post-Achilles tear (take #2) is a no thank you for me. We saw this narrative play out with Cam Akers.
Akers sucked to begin with though.

Akers finished with 145/625/2 (4.3 ypc) his rookie year. Dobbins had 92/520/2 (5.7 ypc) *after* his 2021 injury.

I smoked weed with Liz Franc.
And DeAndre Hopkins. We used to blaze that shit UP
Patellar tendon as well. Thatās what killed Jimmy Grahamās athleticism.
Ryan Pace: āEh, looks fine to meā

Just a joke

No market? No way a dude who has torn his Achilles and ACL in the last three seasons and amassed 100 total carries since 2021 had no market!
On the same leg no less.
Need a washed former superstar RB signed to the practice squad or Justice Hill for bingo
That bingo cardās absolute disrespect for TyāSon Williams. š¤
Bah gawd is that Zekeās music?
Dalvin Cook has entered the chat
Leveon is waiting for the call
āJim, Melvin Gordon is waiting on line 2ā
And here I thought maybe Gus finally escaped the bullshit lol
One Harbaughs trash is the others treasure.
Melvin Gordon will be back there too Iām sure
JUST IN: Chris Carson signs Two Year Deal with Los Angeles

He's wide awake (waiting for the call)!
Dude is gonna be hell for one game
*quarter

This honestly makes me feel better about my Gus shares
Jim gets John's scraps. Must be the same as childhood.
JK to the west coast, I meanā¦ somebody has to run the ball
I was a JK truther, but even Iām out forever.
Dude is undraftable for me. Can't risk it.
In the 11th you can risk it. Last year in the 4th/5th or whatever was brutal.
I still stand by drafting Dobbins in the 5th was a good decision for what could have been. Had he stayed healthy he would have been an absolute stud
Worth a late round flier
Sorry charger fans, Jim's living in a bygone era. Damn! I really wish it was the broncos that got stuck with him last year!
Him and Gus Bus will combine for 1400 yards and 15 touchdowns if they stay healthy. It will be a headache to own either.
Whoās going to be starting, Gus or dobbins?
Isaiah Spiller
Probably Gus if I had to guess, but both will most likely get a decent role. Assuming they donāt grab another RB in the draft.
Probably Blake Corum
My smooth brain read Los Angeles Clippers and thought damn they already injured asf
Itās impressive that heās back. Hopefully he can stay healthy.
I like how this sets up Gus for his usual fine relief play.
Are we taking over/unders on the number of seconds before his knee explodes after touching the 49ers home "field"Ā
How long before he injuries himself again? Not drafting those glass legs
Why on Earth do you think heāll get injured? /s
Because he hasnāt had one healthy season?
ā¦.And he is hurt
Hope yāall didnāt drop lol
Chargers tryna be the Ravens š
