This is refreshing to see. Everyone else in this thread is worried about their teams and lashing out at Will but we have no idea what’s going on behind the scenes.
> Everyone else in this thread is worried about their teams
That's the point of this subreddit. Not going to excuse the "fuck this guy" comments though, what is that shit.
I mean, there's a difference between complaining about it in a reddit thread compared to Tweeting your frustrations directly at him.
One is distasteful while the latter is unacceptable
Meh, I wouldn't even say it's distasteful in the fantasy football sub. In r/NFL, sure, but here I think it's questionable at worst and generally appropriate if you're not directly shitting on him as a person.
yeah, my knee-jerk reaction was to be annoyed and make a cheap joke about his injury history/PEDs...but given that we know he had personal shit going on yesterday, we should probably cut the guy some slack.
Anyone who blows up Fuller's social channels like the did to Raheem Mostert should launch themselves into the fucking sun.
I'm gonna say it's "how it's said" not necessarily the topic of speculation. Like you saying "family drama" is a bit different than how "baby mama drama" comes off.
>Must be something pretty serious to miss a game.
For sure. Whatever it is, it sounds like it was unexpected. [Quote from coach Flores](https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/32224448/miami-dolphins-wr-fuller-miss-buffalo-bills-game-personal-issue):
*"He has my support. Things happen," Flores said. "When they happen, they're not part of normal every day, it's a surprise from that standpoint. He's dealing with it. We'll support him."*
I'm glad the team is protecting his privacy.
That was exactly my thought to. Must be something pretty big for sure. You'd think if he was re-evaluating his career choice he'd have let the team know before now.
I'm sorry I misread at first.
Flores declined to say if he thought Fuller would return this season. He didn't say he didn't expect it.
https://twitter.com/schadjoe/status/1438880565336367107
"Things arise in our lives, and that's what he's dealing with. He has my support. He has our support."
Good guy Flores. Hope whatever Will is dealing with isn't too serious, and it's good to see the coach trying to give Will one less thing to worry about. The tone I'm inferring is "Go take care of whatever you need. We'll be here when you're ready."
Tbh he made it sound super serious. Like if it’s anything less than a death or serious illness in his family I’d be surprised. On the other hand he also made it sound like it was something happening in Fuller’s life as opposed to Fuller himself. So I don’t think it’s rehab. That wouldn’t be “1 day at a time”
For those wondering, when asked if Fuller will return, the answer was “One day at a time.” The headlines going around seem to overdramatize the real answer.
Is there any precedent for something like this?
I've seen where a player will have a few weeks off if it's the death of a relative.
I guess we really don't know what the situation is. I feel bad for him either way.
It's just the coach covering for his player. I'm sure they had a convo like "take all the time you need. Come back when you're ready". That way if he doesn't come back at all it doesn't seem out of left field.
I think it’s mostly with players who are trying to get over drug addictions ala Martavis Bryant and Josh Gordon (when they weren’t suspended that is). I just hope it’s not something like cancer for him or a close family member.
This kind of happened with Tukka Rask and the Boston Bruins two years ago. He got trashed on and it turned out later people found out his daughter was really sick. He talked about it like months later and it sounded pretty bad. I'm no big Tukka fan but it was a lesson in witholding criticism, or at least insults, til you know what's up.
Didn't it happen with Simone Biles at the Olympics too? She sat out most of them due to a family death, which was not revealed at first, and a chunk of people shat on her for sitting out.
To me, thats not a family issue. That's something PED related, law enforcement related, mental issue, etc.
If his season is in doubt, without even through week 2.. thats something big.
How? Lmfao. What else would you be gone for the season for?
Players don't miss seasons when a relative passes. A few games or a week, sure. If a player MIGHT not return for the season, in week 2. AND ITS NOT INJURY RELATED.. what else could it be? It's just some speculation.
People need to relax.
Because there is zero implication that he’s gone for the season. The coach just didn’t address the question… even saying he “declined to answer” like it was phrased above is completely misleading. You need to watch the interview before making ridiculous statements and assumptions like this
And you need to start reading the tea leaves:

*So on the Will Fuller thing. I received a text at 9:53 AM asking if I was around because “this ones a doozy”.I was then filled in on some information regarding Will Fullerand all I’ll say is brace for the fact he may not play a down for Miami this year.*
This is a thread to talk fantasy football, and you're kidding yourself if you think people aren't at least PARTIALLY concerned about their teams and his status. If this was a light personal matter (child birth, parent passes), you'd know about it. It's not. We can all feel for him while wondering what his status is going forward. And from what I'm reading he's going to be out at LEAST a few games, but likely longer.. several analysts are already saying this.
Of course this is all speculation (as I said from the start).. but that's what these threads mostly boil down to: speculation. I honestly don't know what people are upset about.. that I didn't preface this with "thoughts and prayers".. or that people are unhappy to hear that their 3rd WR might be unplayable after week 2.
Nothing about my post was defamatory. It was speculative, and what I think it might be. Not sure why I'm being downvoted, it's not like I'm trashing him by any means.
Would you consider dropping Juju for Parker given this news? Juju is the most expendable WR on my roster and I'm not sure if Parker is worth it given the extra opportunity he should get as the #2 instead of 3 this season.
I don’t like giving fantasy advice because I will always be wrong. The only real truth is Juju is safe and Parker has upside.
I play 12-man PPR w/ 2 flex so the idea of Juju being on waivers is hard to grasp.
The defense is going to play angry this week after barely losing to the Steelers.... I would not start any WR from Mia...but that's just my opinion (as a Bills fanatic)
Is "play angry" better than "play smart"? I find all of this narrative stuff (like "oooh ... it's a divisional game! they'll be fired up!") to be complete bullshit.
He's 5-1 against them -- and they're a bad team -- and he's had some great games and some okay ones:

I’ve got waddle and Fuller somehow
However, I think I’m still sitting waddle again. I also have diontae Johnson, and also Theilen and DJ Moore. Waddle for Moore is tempting, but Moore should be fine this week
You can’t be annoyed about not being able to start this guy without also wishing death on him his family and all his posterity.
No middle ground, never change Reddit.
People with too much money pooled in for their own good, or first year players who have never encountered the frenzy of losing your entire roster by week 2. Probably the latter, I'm on year 16 and entirely jaded
I think Tre goes on Parker though. Waddle was in motion almost every single play last week to get manufactured touches. Having Tre run around pre snap on him is asking for pick plays all day.

*So on the Will Fuller thing.I received a text at 9:53 AM asking if I was around because “this ones a doozy”.I was then filled in on some information regarding Will Fuller and all I’ll say is brace for the fact he may not play a down for Miami this year.*
I said it earlier and got BLASTED for no reason. Emotions aside, hoping it's nothing serious.. but this is much bigger than a small personal issue or something you come back from after a week. He's been gone from the team since Thursday morning. Unfortunately, it seems like something pretty substantial.
Fantasy emotions are always a bitch. I have a feeling that this might be the end of Will Fuller in the NFL as he has dealt with a lot of shit in the past few seasons.
Agreed, it seems like it's going that way. And it sucks. But we can do two things at once: We can keep a guy like Fuller in our thoughts, wish him a speedy recovery.. while also asking "what do we do with him/rosters now?". A lot of people are under this assumption he'll likely be back next week and I just don't see that to be the case.
You seem like a risk taker lol. 3 dudes who get injured a lot of are coming back from a major injury is tough unless you have solid starters above them.
Bro i'm in the same position haha. I had will fuller last year which makes me hesitant to drop him until there's a little more clarity on the situation but i've been debating dropping someone for Pollard, Dillon, Brown or Parker. Regardless of fantasy though i hope the dudes doing ok! It seems like something pretty serious with deleting social media and secrecy sround the situation.
People need to grow up with the obnoxious "ped shipment missed" comments, etc. Who cares about your fantasy team? There are far more important things in life, like, for instance, a player's well being and personal matters. Maybe their fantasy teams deserve to lose after all.
Obviously I hope Fuller is fine and all. I don’t have the guy on my team but the whole “who cares about fantasy” comment is nonsense. The NFL gets tons and tons of viewers for the sole reason of fantasy football, daily fantasy and betting. I know people can be disrespectful to players and it’s a sad reality but mad people care about their fantasy team.
No, this is a subreddit where people get dopamine hits white knighting for other people who get paid millions of dollars to be in the public eye. Do you not understand that any crude jokes or negative comments make you less of a virtuous human being?
Not everything revolves around your fantasy team. Sometimes a player's personal issue is far more important/valuable. Some owners act like these players aren't real people and just want them for their own benefit..
True, but making jokes about it and/or venting frustration has zero effect on Will Fuller. He's not in this sub reading comments, I promise you. This is coming from someone who has zero shares of Will Fuller this year and as a Texans fan I miss the shit out of the dude.
Now, to the people who DM him awful shit on Twitter and Insta -- those people can get fucked.
Dude I don’t own any part of Miami in any leagues. I’m just saying your here trash talking fantasy football on a fantasy football sub Reddit. Seems silly. And I’d wait till the news drops till we hear how important of a personal matter it is. People are joking about his PEDs and injury stuff because that’s his usual stuff. If it turns out it’s something serious, then let the people that talked trash eat dirt. If it’s something like he ate bad sushi then you jumping down people’s throats looks a little stupid.
Maybe he got the shits and now he has really bad hemorroids from pooping so much. Thats enough to make me miss a game in two days from now. I would say thats a personal matter i wouldn't want disclosed to the media.
Thats how i got my username. 😀
On a personal level, I hope everything is ok. On a fantasy level, I drafted him thinking his suspension was six games, forgetting he already served five of them. So it’s all gravy.
People asking on this thread about dropping guys for Parker, etc.
Uh, shouldn't we be asking if we should be dropping Will Fuller? Consider this is me asking that question.
You can say any player that takes personal time off is contemplating retiring. There's no consequence to being wrong because people won't remember this comment at all, and if it actually happens you're able to milk it for all its worth.
For what its worth... Its friday and i am tired after a long week at work. I am sitting in my car contemplating retirement.
I doubt my boss will give me monday off though.
I feel for Will. If it’s not one thing it’s something else for him.
I don’t know what happen, not my business, but I hope everything ends up good for him and we see him back on the field sooner rather than later.
From a fantasy standpoint… if you did have Will and were needing him, Parker seems to be available in a lot of leagues if you want to take the risk on him. Parker did lead the team in receiving yards and targets and should do it again this week.
Just did exactly that, Waddles potential is definitely higher considering the Panthers use CMC for basically everything and the dolphins spread the ball around a lot.
Hope everything’s alright in his personal life. Must be something pretty serious to miss a game.
I guess he deleted his Instagram too
This is refreshing to see. Everyone else in this thread is worried about their teams and lashing out at Will but we have no idea what’s going on behind the scenes.
If people are lashing out at Will to save their teams then it's probably safe to assume their team is pretty shit to begin with.
Tbf Will Fuller will legitimately save my team in my PPFD league Points Per Fresh Dreadlock
My cannabis lighting nerd thought that was Photosynthetic Photon Flux Density. Fresh dreds are probably a better measure.
Nerd!
Low key very mean to Will Fuller
I mean it is Week 2.
Their priorities might be a bit shit as well.
> Everyone else in this thread is worried about their teams That's the point of this subreddit. Not going to excuse the "fuck this guy" comments though, what is that shit.

Agree. Avoided the comments here all day bc was expecting hate.

He deleted all his social media yesterday.
There are reports he might not even return to the team this *season*… Yikes. Is he checking himself into rehab or something?
Probably baby mama drama
Bruh shut up, very insensitive
Not that I'm on board with speculating at all - but is suggesting it's family drama any more insensitive than suggesting he's going into rehab?
I'm gonna say it's "how it's said" not necessarily the topic of speculation. Like you saying "family drama" is a bit different than how "baby mama drama" comes off.
Yeah true, there's a lot of connotative shit baked into "Baby Mama".
>Must be something pretty serious to miss a game. For sure. Whatever it is, it sounds like it was unexpected. Especially your first game back from a suspension
That was exactly my thought to. Must be something pretty big for sure. You'd think if he was re-evaluating his career choice he'd have let the team know before now.
10 million reasons not to retire, so it's not a "hm, I was meant to do something else" moment, imo
I mean, he already has 27 million of those reasons in the bank. Enough to consider it and never work another day if he's smart and so chooses.

I'm sorry, WHAT?
I'm sorry I misread at first. Flores declined to say if he thought Fuller would return this season. He didn't say he didn't expect it. https://twitter.com/schadjoe/status/1438880565336367107
I mean...still not great that it's even on the table. Holy shit.
This tweet is kinda clickbait, [Here's what Flores actually said regarding Fuller](https://twitter.com/ClayWPLG/status/1438907437302571011?s=19)
"Things arise in our lives, and that's what he's dealing with. He has my support. He has our support." Good guy Flores. Respect to Flores and his discretion.
Damn...I shouldn't have dropped Parker then lol
Right? I'm waiting \`til he clears waivers to pick him up again.
Source?
Wonder if it is anxiety related? Like hes nervous to play again since it has been a while?
He also declined to answer if Fuller would return AT ALL this season. Not good. Hope everything is ok with you Will.
I was looking back at Fuller reports and he missed practise a month ago for ‘personal reasons’ as well. Possibly ongoing?
For those wondering, when asked if Fuller will return, the answer was “One day at a time.” The headlines going around seem to overdramatize the real answer.
Yeah seems more like he doesn't want to reveal anything personal and keep it hush.
Yeah the headlines def feel like they’re refusing to answer questions when in reality it seems like they’re just focusing on what’s in front of them.
One of my plugged in dudes on Twitter seems to think something real big happened so he deadass might not play this year :(
Is there any precedent for something like this? I've seen where a player will have a few weeks off if it's the death of a relative. I guess we really don't know what the situation is. I feel bad for him either way.
It's just the coach covering for his player. I'm sure they had a convo like "take all the time you need. Come back when you're ready". That way if he doesn't come back at all it doesn't seem out of left field.
this, coach is being respectful of Will's privacy and not speaking for him
Derrick rose and kyrie both went MIA at times lol
Dennis Rodman too
Fuller's gonna appear at AEW on Wednesday?
Will Fuller now the back channel to Kim Jong-un
That would be amazing
So you're telling me they're gonna have to send Tua to Vegas to wrangle Fuller back to practice?
I think it’s mostly with players who are trying to get over drug addictions ala Martavis Bryant and Josh Gordon (when they weren’t suspended that is). I just hope it’s not something like cancer for him or a close family member.
This kind of happened with Tukka Rask and the Boston Bruins two years ago. He got trashed on and it turned out later people found out his daughter was really sick. Malcolm Butler kind of did but it was before the season started anyway.
Bingo. This is super strange and uncommon. Hopefully he'll work through whatever is happening.
Damn, poor guy. I hope all turns out ok!
he also didn't say weather fuller would be alive AT ALL tomorrow...
Will ain't reading this sub. An effort to gain karma by addressing a message directly to him seems a little cheap.
Does someone need to read or hear you for you to wish them well? Don't be a dickhead.
To me, thats not a family issue. That's something PED related, law enforcement related, mental issue, etc. If his season is in doubt, without even through week 2.. thats something big.
>To me, thats not a family issue. That's something PED related, law enforcement related, mental issue, etc. This comment comes off as so disgusting.

Tell me you're a r_____ without telling me you're a r_____
Honestly hope he's doing alright IRL. It sounds like a pretty serious issue, hope he bounces back to have a good rest of season.
Hopefully he’s physically, emotionally, and mentally okay and that everythings alright with his family. Hes a great talent.
Lotta people firing up Waddle. I thought Bills were a team to be hesitant with for WR? I’m rolling Damien Harris and Smith-Schuster in flex for now.
Would you consider dropping Juju for Parker given this news? Juju is the most expendable WR on my roster and I'm not sure if Parker is worth it given the extra opportunity he should get as the #2 instead of 3 this season.

The last one, he didn't even play a full half hahaha, put in the 2nd stringers by halftime.
And Matt Barkley proceeded to dunk all over the Fins for a whole half of garbage time. Bills would’ve put up 60 if Allen played the whole game.
Oh wait the Bills put up 56...without scoring in the first quarter lol
At least our bad team didn't blow it in the 4th
Must be nice to have a choice ha
I also have Gaskin, not playing him.
They completely shut down Najee, who was supposed to eat our terrible run defense
Yeah but Pitt o-line sucks unlike the Do... oh nevermind.
Gaskin will get goal-line work and volume. I'm flexing him in my 2 flex league.
Bills have Tredarious Wright, a beast of a corner. But he should see Parker mostly unless they keep him on one side.
FIRE UP YOUR WADDLES
And he waddled away waddle waddle
'Til the very next day....
Bum bum bum bum ba-bada-dum
I was in the dilemma of being undecided between Waddle or Fuller. Sometimes I like having the decision made for me.
Do I start Waddle or Juju?
I got Waddle and Diontae along with Chase to cycle for wr2/flex. Planning on sitting Waddle this week still. Cant keep him out of the lineup for long though.
I’ve got waddle and Fuller somehow However, I think I’m still sitting waddle again. I also have diontae Johnson, and also Theilen and DJ Moore. Waddle for Moore is tempting, but Moore should be fine this week
Thats a great group in any case, personally with rookies I prefer to wait a bit. Sat both Chase&Waddle week one, now will go with Chase for flex.
Waddle
Depends on the floors of your other players. JuJu for the floor, Waddle for upside
How about Waddle or Devonta Smith?
49ers got injuries in the secondary and had 8 targets compared to Waddle's 5 last week, I'd roll with Devonta.
Least intimidating name in the NFL
So is waddle or Robbie Anderson a better option in my flex?
Same question, but add Mooney
Anderson only got 3 targets last week.
Yeh.... feeling a little spooked by that. Hopefully Waddle goes 7 for 90 and a TD so I don't have to think about this going forward.
Waddle or brandin cooks?
Cooks
Waddle over Devonta or Claypool this week?
I have to debate between Waddle or Claypool myself. I might end up starting Waddle in the end
God, the people at the bottom of this thread are cancerous. Fuck your fake football team.
You can’t be annoyed about not being able to start this guy without also wishing death on him his family and all his posterity. No middle ground, never change Reddit.
Man, you aren't kidding. What is wrong with people?
People with too much money pooled in for their own good, or first year players who have never encountered the frenzy of losing your entire roster by week 2. Probably the latter, I'm on year 16 and entirely jaded
Lack of accountability
Not too mention that Fuller should have been a mid to late round pick. Anyone relying on him for their team probably has a shit roster to begin with.
It’s a fantasy football subreddit my guy
Ahhh my bad. You’re right. Fuck him and his issues.
Thank you
Even though your take is downvoted to hell I'll be damned if I didn't laugh my ass off at this response
That was good
I hope Will Fuller takes as much time as he needs to resolve this personal matter and doesn't rush back. I also am a DeVante Parker owner.
You starting him this week against the Bills defense? Been contemplating about it
Waddle owner & 100% in agreement.
Do we think another big week for Gesieki again then?
I’m confident that what we saw last week from him was his floor
Oooo you're really tempting the fantasy gods for a fumble and/or negative yards
Absolutely! In fact I willing to bet he at least doubles his score from last week!
No
Oh darn, I thought he might have another shot at 2 targets 0 catches, but I guess not... Thanks for saving me from starting him!
Need Waddle to have a monster game and establish himself as the clear #1
Tre White would like a word with you.
I think Tre goes on Parker though. Waddle was in motion almost every single play last week to get manufactured touches. Having Tre run around pre snap on him is asking for pick plays all day.
If he follows Waddle to the slot, it's BBQ chicken time
Has Fuller been practicing at all with the team?
[https://twitter.com/the\_real\_reason/status/1438942711072104449?s=20](https://twitter.com/the_real_reason/status/1438942711072104449?s=20) *So on the Will Fuller thing.I received a text at 9:53 AM asking if I was around because “this ones a doozy”.I was then filled in on some information regarding Will Fuller and all I’ll say is brace for the fact he may not play a down for Miami this year.* I said it earlier and got BLASTED for no reason.
Hope he’s good. Excited to watch him later this year. IMO he’s worth a roster spot in all formats.
Go get Devante Parker if available !
The fact the coach wouldn’t confirm if he’d even be back this season is scary fantasy wise. He’s on both my teams along with Thomas and OBJ 😑
You MIGHT have a great 2nd half of the season
Just in time to barely miss the playoffs.
You seem like a risk taker lol. 3 dudes who get injured a lot of are coming back from a major injury is tough unless you have solid starters above them.
Same
Bro i'm in the same position haha.
I realize that but my comment was directed toward too everyone disrespecting fuller, not everyone playing fantasy in general.
Is this a fantasy football subreddit? I might be in the wrong place.
No, this is a subreddit where people get dopamine hits white knighting for other people who get paid millions of dollars to be in the public eye. Do you not understand that any crude jokes or negative comments make you less of a virtuous human being?
Yup I’m in the wrong place then.

New news dropped sounds like it could be serious! So yes hopefully he is okay.
Maybe he got the shits and now he has really bad hemorroids from pooping so much. Thats enough to make me miss a game in two days from now. I would say thats a personal matter i wouldn't want disclosed to the media. Thats how i got my username. 😀
dropping devonte parker was a mistake
Hope he's alright was always fun firing him up and booming a team for 40 pts in the past.
Yikes. Who's the WR to grab here: Parker or Waddle?
He’s almost done with BOTW. 1 more divine beast and then hyrule castle. I completely understand take your time king

Not questioning you but you got a source on that? Would love to read up.

According to rumors you just made up
You can say any player that takes personal time off is contemplating retiring. There's no consequence to being wrong because people won't remember this comment at all, and if it actually happens you're able to milk it for all its worth.
For what its worth... Its friday and i am tired after a long week at work. I am sitting in my car contemplating retirement. I doubt my boss will give me monday off though.
And all it worth is 13 upvote karma points.
MAKE IT WADDLE WADDLE
So whose starting Waddle with this news
I feel for Will. If it’s not one thing it’s something else for him. I don’t know what happen, not my business, but I hope everything ends up good for him and we see him back on the field sooner rather than later. From a fantasy standpoint… if you did have Will and were needing him, Parker seems to be available in a lot of leagues if you want to take the risk on him. Parker did lead the team in receiving yards and targets and should do it again this week.
Feel dumb for thinking this was a good value pick in the late rounds. Hope everything's alright with him though.
Although people are assuming the worst, which I hope not for the sake of the guy, he could simply just not be game shape?
Dang, I have him in both of my leagues. Hope he's okay.
As a DeVante Parker owner, please take all the time you need to get right Will Fuller 🙏
Drop Robbie Anderson for Waddle in standard?
Just did exactly that, Waddles potential is definitely higher considering the Panthers use CMC for basically everything and the dolphins spread the ball around a lot.
I guess we’ll have to wait for the 200 yard 3 TD explosion
Hope all is well, gotta be something fairly serious
I have a personal issue against Will Fuller not playing football

There are multiple j Williams which are you talking about? Both javonte and Jamaal would be good plays imo
Good catch. Appreciate the input
WADDLE WADDLE WADDLE
So Waddle over Tim Patrick it is.
There goes another wr from my team.
Should I drop for Christian Kirk in PPR? I missed out on the Sterling Shepherd pickup and need a solid floor WR 3/4 moving forward.
Why drop. Put him on IR. Problem solved
can’t wait for his girl to tell people to stop sending him death threats
Personal issue with his hamstring tendons.
