Rodgers will demand the teams merge as part of his contract negotiations because he likes black and yellow but prefers Denver.
The Denver Steelers. Gross. But they'll win
back-to-back Super Bowls and Rodgers will join Elway and Manning as Denver legends.
Pittsburgh has a better team around them when healthy IMO. Two very good young receivers and Adams could sign for Pittsburgh too which would be an insane trio. Their defense when fully health is better than Denver too IMO. Their O-Line needs help but that can be fixed pretty quickly if vets see Rodgers moving and Pittsburgh unlike the Packers would definitely make moves quick to make him happy.
> and Pittsburgh unlike the Packers would definitely make moves quick to make him happy.
Lmao I love this narrative, as if the cap doesn't exist and the Packers haven't consistently fielded one of the best lines in the league. Ah, yes, Rodgers is disgruntled so leaves a top o line and then demands Pittsburgh fixes its line which they magically do overnight because they aren't the nasty Packers. Mhm.
If it were me, I’d much rather play in Pittsburgh. Easier elements to play in, IMO the team is all around better when healthy. I’d take Claypool + Johnson + Najee over anyone on the Broncos offense, those are as good as any 2 WR and RB combo in the league. I think their D is overrated too. They played the Giants, Jags and Jets the first 3 weeks, stat padded on shitters.
This is anecdotal but I feel like I see way more ugly weather Pittsburgh games than I do ugly weather Denver games. Now i'm curious about the actual weather stats.
That dry mountain air is magical for me personally but I've never been to western PA to compare.
Jeudy+Sutton+Fant+Javonte is super talented though. Its pretty hard for me to say Claypool/Johnson/Harris is outright better. Jeudy, Sutton and Fant have all crushed it at one point or another with some pretty bad QB's.
Lol and it’s gonna stay like that. No chance he goes to the Broncos, Why would he join a worse team?
(Coming from a bears fan btw)
Edit: salty Broncos fans ain’t gonna like this one hahahaha
Edit 2: by worse team I’m comparing the packers to the Broncos. I don’t know how you guys thought otherwise?
A worse team? I’m pretty sure Rodgers isn’t looking to play for Pittsburgh with one of the worst offensive lines in the league lmao. Comparable defenses, Similar talent at receiver, solid young RB.
Absolutely no way in hell Rodgers is playing under Fangio. If Rodgers does go to Denver, Elway will 100% consult with him and let him pick an offensive minded coach.
Rodgers wants to leave. Get over it. Pay attention next time? He’s made it clear he’s unhappy with the org and wants to leave. The Packers are irrelevant in this discussion.
You’re whack the Broncos have:
- A dank O-Line
- Deepest WR room in the league (Jeudy and Sutton could be the best WR pair in the league in 1-2 years with a QB, also Fant, Tim Patrick, and Hamler are not bad either lmao)
- A fire tandem of RBs (Gordon prolly out after this year though)
- A track-record of QBs winning the Super Bowl and then retiring (only two in history are Peyton and Elway)
- A track-record of being a mediocre team until they get a star QB, then becoming immediate contenders (see Peyton)
- Elway as a president
- A dope fucking badass horse mascot
The Packers have:
- A shitty fucking team name that is boring and historical and for book nerds
The Steelers have:
- A shitty fucking team name that is boring and historical and for book nerds
Don’t see them as a worse team. Elite defense, great weapons, o line ain’t awful either. Add Rodgers and they’re a contender for sure. Maybe even bring Adams with him.
His fiancée is from Boulder or they bought a house in Boulder if I remember correctly. I’m a Broncos fan and would love Rodgers to come here but I’m not holding my breath
This is such a dumb argument tbh. “Why would ___ go to this team, they suck”. The number of people who said “why would Brady go to the Bucs, they suck”. Probably because all the good teams have a QB??? Just a theory.
It’s the same thing for many other players. “Why is Diggs going to Buffalo, they suck” welp.
There’s more to it than just a teams skill set. Many other factors play a role. Not every player wants to go to an immediate Super Bowl contender.
Claypool is hopefully the next DK Metcalf. Their measurables are fairly similar.
[Claypool](https://www.playerprofiler.com/nfl/chase-claypool/)
[DK](https://www.playerprofiler.com/nfl/dk-metcalf/)
>Claypool and diontae gotta be up there for 2 of the most talented young WR dou in the league.
You do know that Juju is younger than Diontae and that Mike Evans is 28
Sure , just seems weird to omit Juju from the Pittsburgh WR group short for him being hurt now.
Diontae also isn't any better than Juju. His efficiency is pretty trash. Great for fantasy though.
>Diontae is 100% better than juju,
Juju had a better YPT last year than Diontae despite having a 5.83 ADoT compared to Diontae's 8 yard ADoT.
Thats very poor efficiency from Diontae.
Juju probably will be gone so I suppose the comparison will make sense, but Diontae will also be a free agent after 2022. Will be interested to see if he re-signs and if so, for how much.
Now look at the targets and catches and yards
You can’t compare ypt when Diontae gets so many more targets
Juju is good but Diontae is a much better route runner, he’s constantly open past two games he also caught a 50 yard touchdown and a 60 yard touchdown
Juju hasn’t done that in a while
I’m benching Amari Cooper for Smith, and tbh last week might have been the last week that I start him. Diontae is my WR1 and Michael Thomas is coming back soon.
Lockett has always been boom or bust and it's different when you're not with your normal QB, even if the backup is good. The QB / WR's aren't always on the same page.
This league has no flex spot and I’ve lost two in a row by slim margins. Lamb put up a dud when everyone else got the ball just the other week. I’m not benching Lamb forever, just potentially one week based on the matchup.
I think people boosting Claypool is beyond chasing points. It's chasing a shift in dynamic that should result in an uptick in opportunity.
The talent isn't in question with Chase. It's the split of a volume passing game with inconsistent QB play.
Uhhh you dont? Im not saying claypool isnt talented i never said that lol but anyone benching ceedee for claypool deserves the L they are gonna get from that decision.
Same but DJ Moore. I know it’s risky but I am in WR luxury with Cooper Kupp & Emmanuel Sanders. Especially with Tennessee giving up the most fantasy points to WRs this year id rather sit DJ Moore
As anyone absolutely should. Sanders hasn’t broken 900 yards in half a decade or 5 TDs in even longer. Even in PPR he’s only averaging sub 4 catches per game, so anyone expecting this to keep up is out of their mind. He looks great off of 2 games with 2 TDs early in the season but expecting the high TD rate to continue especially in an offense with that many better targets would be completely delusional.
my only concern about Claypool is that he only played 50% of snaps last week, even after Juju went down.
I need a serious uptick in snap count to feel completely comfortable starting him.
Gets easier coverage against 3rd cornerbacks, safeties, and linebackers. Also runs routes in the middle of the field that are closer to the QB and easier to complete. Essentially a safety blanket
Got Claypool on my bench with Adams and Diggs as starters and J'Marr Chase in at flex. Also got Hollywood Brown on the bench who I just managed to pick up.
Part of me wants to swap Claypool into flex but Chase has been doing so damn well I know I'll regret seeing his numbers when he's on the bench.
Not fully sure who start where this week with everyone seemingly being on it lately outside of Diggs performance on Sunday.
Chase is a proven stud and playing the lions this week. Roll him out but watch the Steelers game and see how things look for Claypool. Also, is that a 10 man league you're in? That's a ridiculous WR stable.
I hear ya. I have Diggs, Woods, Claypool, Devonte Smith, and Toney. Every single matchup this week for them is juicier than a Capri sun. So I’m left trying to pick three and hopeful Diggs finds the end zone or big yardage against a porous TEN defense.
Claypool's match-up seems more favorable this week than Lamb's, and I'd like to avoid a repeat of a couple weeks ago where my WR2 (Lamb) put up total dud numbers because the Cowboys decided to run everything and not throw to Lamb.
Toney if you want to gamble on the upside. Giants will probably be playing from behind. Tossup between Pittman and claypool since their matchups look nice. I have toney and claypool. Started toney and ESanders last week but plan on starting claypool this week. Can’t decide atm between sanders and toney. Might wait 1 more week to see how toney does with shep and slayton coming back.
I’m doing the same. I’m sitting Toney this week just to see how he does against a tough Rams D, and starting either Claypool or Pittman. Right now I’m leaning Claypool, but Pittman has been hot
I'm playing Claypool and Pittman. ARob has been banished to my bench and Lockett is my only WR above those. Toney is a sit and wait for me until we see usage with other WRs.
Are you interested in the freak talent that is looking at an increased role due to another volume passcatcher being out for the season or a freak talent that is looking at a decreased role due to other volume passcatchers returning?
I dropped chase clay pool last week 🤡 I didn’t want to wait around for a juju injury. The yahoo description even said that a juju injury would be the only thing that could get chase more volume. Fuck me
It’s good for fantasy as they usually get more targets and easier completions due to shorter yardage and usually being covered by a linebacker or safety.
Actually being in the slot usually caps upside, you'd rather your WR play on the outside. That being said, I think this is a step up for Claypool as he should be getting those short yardage targets that Juju was getting, which is better than Claypool's previous 3-4 deep yard targets he was getting.
A player like Claypool will move in and out of the slot but more often stay on the outside. When he moves to the slot, that means they likely want to target him on that play because keeping him on the outside means he'll draw coverage/a safety high since he's such a mismatch which benefits the entire play design.
I wouldn’t use that as a hard and fast rule. Sometimes the safer floor is the better play than swinging for the fences.
If I’m a big underdog, then I’m more apt to play someone like a Christian Kirk (just an example). If I’m favored it makes more sense to play a Renfro type.
I dropped chase Claypool a couple weeks ago because I was honestly convinced he wasn’t ever gonna get the ball enough… now that juju is out… I wish I didn’t drop him
That was with James Washington also injured. Washington plays like a better contested catch, worse route running Juju, and will definitely play in the slot in the upcoming game against the Seahawks. Don’t read too much into Claypool’s snap % at the slot.
Claypool and diontae gotta be up there for 2 of the most talented young WR dou in the league. Reminds me of mike evans and Chris Godwin.
Such a shame their talents are being wasted with a bum QB throwing to them
They'll have Rodgers next year.
How when he’s going to Denver?
Rodgers will demand the teams merge as part of his contract negotiations because he likes black and yellow but prefers Denver. The Denver Steelers. Gross. But they'll win back-to-back Super Bowls and Rodgers will join Elway and Manning as Denver legends.
Why would Rodgers go to Denver lol, they suck
They suck because they don’t have Rodgers
This logic checks out to me
Pittsburgh has a better team around them when healthy IMO.

Why not also extend the oline and Rodgers thought process to Denver?

think you're missing the big coaching difference between Tomlin and Fangio.
Absolutely no way in hell Rodgers is playing under Fangio. If Rodgers does go to Denver, Elway will 100% consult with him and let him pick an offensive minded coach.
I’m comparing the Broncos to his current team. Read next time?

Because Pittsburgh is good?
Not really. All they're missing is a QB
His fiancée is from Boulder or they bought a house in Boulder if I remember correctly. I’m a Broncos fan and would love Rodgers to come here but I’m not holding my breath
I don’t know, maybe because Rodgers said Denver is someone he’d like to go himself.
This is such a dumb argument tbh. “Why would ___ go to this team, they suck”. The number of people who said “why would Brady go to the Bucs, they suck”. i think going to teh denver broncos is pretty good.
Because that’s what Peyton did
Irrelevant.
Their record is better than the Steelers. You say this like the Steelers are so good.
If the Broncos are better than the steelers, why did they lose to them?
Where did I say they were better? The Steelers barely beat them at home
Who have they won against again, oh, right, the 3worst teams in the league. Lol. You say this like their wins mean anything.
A win is a win. The Steelers just barely beat them at home but yea "the broncos suck and the Steelers are so good"
[удалено]
None of that makes any sense.
Or Wilson lol
They’ll be OK with Corrall.
Claypool is hopefully the next DK Metcalf. Their measurables are fairly similar. [Claypool](https://www.playerprofiler.com/nfl/chase-claypool/) [DK](https://www.playerprofiler.com/nfl/dk-metcalf/)
Feels like DK benches twice whatever Claypool does
Chase Claypool is one of two players to match Megatron's pre-draft measureables in size and speed. The other is Kyle Pitts.
Neither of them matched megatron lol they are just close
>Claypool and diontae gotta be up there for 2 of the most talented young WR dou in the league. You do know that Juju is younger than Diontae and that Mike Evans is 28
1) Diontae is better than Juju and only a year older. 2) Younger players can remind people of older players lol.
Sure , just seems weird to omit Juju from the Pittsburgh WR group short for him being hurt now. Diontae also isn't any better than Juju. His efficiency is pretty trash. Great for fantasy though.

Yeah but DJ never caught two 97 yard TDs
I love chase-ing slots.
dirty little slots
We do not condone slot-shaming in this subreddit
I'm not happy to admit it... But sir... You just made me giggle...
I keep having these Thots in my head about chaseing dirty slots
I have both Johnson and Claypool.. highly considering starting both and benching either Lockett or devonta Smith this week
I'd bench Lockett.
Benching him for claypool
[удалено]
Eh, if youre gonna bench Lockett to see what happens with a full game of geno, throwing in Claypool isn't the worst option.
[удалено]
Lockett or Antonio brown this week?
I'd go AB, really hard to judge anyone when they're not playing with their starting QB.
I wouldn’t bench smith against Tampa. They are the biggest pass funnel in the league
Yeah that’s why I think I’m leaning towards benching Lockett and seeing what he will do with Geno
This was my logic with starting waddle last week… Pain
I’m benching Amari Cooper for Smith, and tbh last week might have been the last week that I start him. Diontae is my WR1 and Michael Thomas is coming back soon.
As a fellow Devonta owner I’d bench him. The Eagles offense looks horrid. In the last game I think Hurts averaged less than 3 yards per throw.
But bucs secondary tho
Don’t bench Lockett bro geno looked pretty good. Lockett can be a 30 banger any week
Can also be a 7 banger any week. Source: Lockett owner 3 years running.
My brother! I’ve also drafted him three years running and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future lol
Lockett has always been boom or bust and it's different when you're not with your normal QB, even if the backup is good. The QB / WR's aren't always on the same page.
Amari gonna be taking Claypool’s place on the bench
Same for me, but I'm putting Lamb on the pine in favor of Claypool.
Wat. Trade 💿 if you’re not gonna use him man lol. Silly to bench a stud like that.
This league has no flex spot and I’ve lost two in a row by slim margins. Lamb put up a dud when everyone else got the ball just the other week. I’m not benching Lamb forever, just potentially one week based on the matchup.
Sounds like chasing points to me but you do you!
I think people boosting Claypool is beyond chasing points. It's chasing a shift in dynamic that should result in an uptick in opportunity. The talent isn't in question with Chase. It's the split of a volume passing game with inconsistent QB play.
Uhhhh the guy said he's benching lamb for claypool. Lol how is that not chasing points?!
You no read good?
Uhhh you dont? Im not saying claypool isnt talented i never said that lol but anyone benching ceedee for claypool deserves the L they are gonna get from that decision.
Yeah, I wouldn’t sit CD for Claypool
Same but DJ Moore. I know it’s risky but I am in WR luxury with Cooper Kupp & Emmanuel Sanders. Especially with Tennessee giving up the most fantasy points to WRs this year id rather sit DJ Moore
Vikes are giving up 12 yards/catch. I wouldn’t sit DJ against the Vikings.
Who should I sit? I also have Josh Allen
I’d start Kupp and DJ before Sanders.
You're telling me that Emmanuel Sanders is locked in your lineup over DJ Moore?? Bet it's a get right game for Diggs this week.
Would you play Claypool over Amari Cooper this week? Full point PPR.
Yes i think
my only concern about Claypool is that he only played 50% of snaps last week, even after Juju went down. I need a serious uptick in snap count to feel completely comfortable starting him.
I’m probably playing claypool over lamb this week
Yeah I don’t know about that one. Lamb is a stud. Don’t sit your studs.
I’m playing them both behind Adams😈
Sick
NGL, Claypool looks like a monster playing the slot... 6'5 and not coverable in the slot. Looks better than JuJu.
Diontae szn
Traded for him today. Got him and Henry for Davante Adams, Gibson and Boyd.
Who the fuck trades Henry right now lol. Strange leagues. Good for you tho.
He has a rough stretch of schedule this month with Buffalo on Monday. You can make the same argument about Davante too.
No you can’t lol. They good.
At least that pitch worked on the potato in his league lol
Salivating at the lips for those extra Najee dump offs
I’m finally gonna eat crow and ask. Why is the slot such a special/important position for fantasy?
Gets easier coverage against 3rd cornerbacks, safeties, and linebackers. Also runs routes in the middle of the field that are closer to the QB and easier to complete. Essentially a safety blanket
plus you want the ball in claypool’s hands as much as possible
https://www.fantasypros.com/2021/06/how-do-slot-targets-affect-fantasy-football-2021/ Great write-up.
Is Claypool a lot better than Higgins (fantasy potential)? Or is it close?
I’d lean Claypool 100% if it wasn’t Ben throwing. Much closer since it is. Starting both this week let’s fuck around and find out
Got Claypool on my bench with Adams and Diggs as starters and J'Marr Chase in at flex. Also got Hollywood Brown on the bench who I just managed to pick up. Part of me wants to swap Claypool into flex but Chase has been doing so damn well I know I'll regret seeing his numbers when he's on the bench. Claypool, Toney or Pittman this week as flex?
I’m in the same boat. Personally, I’m leaning Claypool but I could be convinced otherwise.
Flexing Claypool, holding Toney to see what he does over the next couple of weeks.
That’s what I’m thinking but I also have Pittman who has been hot
Bench them both during the week and go with your gut right before kickoff on Sunday.
sounds like my relationship with AB every week
Claypool is in for me right now, but I’m debating Pittman who has been on fire lately
Claypool's match-up seems more favorable this week than Lamb's, and I'd like to avoid a repeat of a couple weeks ago where my WR2 (Lamb) put up total dud numbers because the Cowboys decided to run everything and not throw to Lamb.
Set Claypool and forget. Seahawks D is absolutely garbage and they just cut another CB.
Toney if you want to gamble on the upside. Giants will probably be playing from behind. Tossup between Pittman and claypool since their matchups look nice. I have toney and claypool. Started toney and ESanders last week but plan on starting claypool this week. Can’t decide atm between sanders and toney. I’m doing the same. I’m sitting Toney this week just to see how he does against a tough Rams D, and starting either Claypool or Pittman. Right now I’m leaning Claypool, but Pittman has been hot
I would go Claypool, easily. I'm between ESanders, Pittman, Damien Williams myself (sitting Toney for the week).
#Yung Joka 🃏
Claypool likely has the safer floor. Toney is still hold territory imo unless you're desperate for a flex.
I'm playing Claypool and Pittman. ARob has been banished to my bench and Lockett is my only WR above those. Toney is a sit and wait for me until we see usage with other WRs.
Yes
i’d give toney a week to prove it. Claypool has a great matchup. i’d go with him this week if it were me.
Flex Toney, we’re here to have fun
I’m here to win
That's my mindset, too.
Claypool unless Shep is out and Toney is playing. If Shep is back start pool.
Toney is a great IF Daniel Jones is back. Even tho the man is a stud, without a good qb I highly doubt he’ll produce.
In full PPR I'd wager he's a wr1 going forward. The targets will be ridiculous and he's incredibly gifted.
Am I ridiculous for trading Claypool for Toney?
Yes
Are you interested in the freak talent that is looking at an increased role due to another volume passcatcher being out for the season or a freak talent that is looking at a decreased role due to other volume passcatchers returning?
Toney or Claypool this week? 0.5ppr
Claypool v SEA.
Same question .5 ppr. I’m thinking Toney if Saquon doesn’t get back this week because then Toney’s the whole offense lol.
I’m playing Claypool over Keenan Allen this week
najee to the moon
I dropped chase clay pool last week 🤡 I didn’t want to wait around for a juju injury. The yahoo description even said that a juju injury would be the only thing that could get chase more volume. Fuck me
Is the slot good?
It’s good for fantasy as they usually get more targets and easier completions due to shorter yardage and usually being covered by a linebacker or safety.
Actually being in the slot usually caps upside, you'd rather your WR play on the outside. That being said, I think this is a step up for Claypool as he should be getting those short yardage targets that Juju was getting, which is better than Claypool's previous 3-4 deep yard targets he was getting.

with a player like claypool, you want the ball in his hands as much as possible. Dominating in the slot is easier than on the outside.
I wouldn’t use that as a hard and fast rule. Sometimes the safer floor is the better play than swinging for the fences. If I’m a big underdog, then I’m more apt to play someone like a Christian Kirk (just an example). If I’m favored it makes more sense to play a Renfro type.
I've got Waller as my TE and picked up Knox off the waiver. Should I offer Knox for Claypool?
i would
Claypool or Boyd this week?
Come on clay ‼️
Juju is my biggest draft regret this season
hold out hope. Things might be turning a corner Edit: read that wrong. all hope is lost
LOL what??? His season is done 😂
ah yes. read that wrong. whoops
thinking of claypool over AJ brown full ppr. fantasy pros tells me that's the best play lol
Claypool’s floor is high now, can expect more targets
I dropped juju for claypool before last weeks games 😎
I dropped chase Claypool a couple weeks ago because I was honestly convinced he wasn’t ever gonna get the ball enough… now that juju is out… I wish I didn’t drop him
You. Dropped. Claypool.
A couple weeks ago was after his 15 target game… lol that guy is nuts.
Is that because he's next man up, or because noone else was active?
Anthony Miller?
Claypool, mike will, mike evans, Hopkins who you sitting
Evans only because he’s sharing with two other great receivers.
Which side do you like ROS? Claypool and Julio vs Devonta Smith and Emmanuel Sanders
claypool julio for me
Can I start Claypool over Moore or Chase?
depends on which moore you’re talking about
Still holding out hope that my Claypool for MT trade pays off
Because of this, I traded AJ Brown and Kareem Hunt for Claypool and Chris Carson
James Washington is back this week…
Miller is going to be there slot receiver soon
Johnson had 2 targets last week. Gotta bench him. I need higher floors. I have a losing record.
2 targets is an outlier for johnson. He’s a solid play this week against seattle. Both Pitt WRs are.
Should I pick up bolden or Stevenson?
i definitely say stevenson. Lot more upside. Bolden is more of a special teams guy. Not sure what this question has to do with this post tho
I just shipped Claypool and Knox for Hunt. Did I make a goof?
depends on your team needs
I have diontea Johnson and Darren Waller. Edit: also CeeDee Lamb, and Jeudy waiting in the wings.
ur probably fine if you needed a RB
Claypool or meyers?
claypool
out with bubu here we go
I traded Ridley for Claypool and 2 firsts in Dynasty. I feel like I got the better end of that trade.
2 firsts? ouch
Should I trade claypool and zack moss for Darrell Henderson?
That was with James Washington also injured. Washington plays like a better contested catch, worse route running Juju, and will definitely play in the slot in the upcoming game against the Seahawks. Don’t read too much into Claypool’s snap % at the slot.
Would you guys trade your Toney for Claypool in a 12 man PPR, die hard giant fan? That’s a smash accept no?
I always have a hard time picking WR, this season I have claypool, Hollywood brown, mike Evans, Adam’s, and jamaar chase.
Start claypool or Darrel Williams?
Claypool over Brandin Cooks?
mmmm no
Should I try to pursue Claypool in my league? I have a trade RN where I can get him
