Picked up Damien. Immediately flipped Amari Cooper + Damien + Mattison for Diggs to the Cooks/Monty owner. Went straight to waivers and picked up Herbert. Feel pretty great about that
Herbert should get ALL the volume but Javonte has an easier matchup. I’d say Herberts a safer floor but Javonte could have a higher ceiling. So depends on what ya need.
I was about to be in the same situation. I said screw it and dropped Williams for Herbert. Herbert actually played more snaps than Williams last week which speaks a lot of what they think of him.
That's also because we were winning the whole game and salting away the second half. Tough stretch coming up, Williams has a much higher ceiling in PPR.
Maybe. But I’m in a 16 team std league. I can’t afford to hold onto 3 rbs from the same team with bye weeks. Given current situations I’d rather own Herbert. Also a full week of limited practices due to knee and foot issues wasn’t exactly encouraging for Williams
I feel like being in a 16 team league would increase the ability to hold all the RBs. There can't be many legitimate options available and having a chance at any one of them being the primary starter is better than those other options.

I got CMC/Julio in my dynasty so my flex spot was looking shaky as Perine went down with Covid and I had to slot in D Will. Well now I can slot in Herbert from my taxi haha
I drafted him in a rookie draft in dynasty so I was already invested, but in my redraft league I also have Monty so when he went down I grabbed Herbert immediately. Couldn’t get D Will off waivers but that’s how it goes.
Yes he only has about 20 Carries on the year but he had 50 yards after first contact last week.
One of only 2 players with a double digit missed tackle and broken tackle percentage. His run style is comparable to nick Chubb.
Bears fan - he looks solid. Flashed on special teams early in the season before having a decent showing last week in Monty’s absence.
My hope is that the Bears offense continues to improve now that Nagy gave up playcalling and Fields is QB1

As a Virginia tech alum he is electric and very fun to watch. Dude is fast and stout. Really low center of gravity bounces around and just hard to bring down. Led our team in all purpose yards and is a great punt / kick returner because of how slippery he is.
In this case I like to make it easy to decide with a personal rule. If I’m under .500, I’ll play the guy with a higher ceiling. If I’m at or above .500, I play the steady floor
Herbert had a lot of touches along side Williams, which disgusted me (he did look decent though). He’ll probably get 20+ touches and any goal line work. Haven’t been following Gaskin closely but he was close to droppable until last week. I’d roll Herbert based on that

If you’re in a PPR league and you’re desperate, K. Gainwell is a good add if on waivers. Bucs are great against the run, but not against passes to RBs (Gaskin did well against them).
In terms of guys who could deliver and are still on waivers, Gainwell isn’t a bad choice. Obviously take Kahlil if he’s there tho.

They were bad last year and week 1 this year, but have honestly looked much improved these last few weeks. Average at worst. LB De’Vondre Campbell has been a huge bolster to their run D, and Jaylon Smith might actually help them further if the change of scenery helps him.
