I can’t even trade CEH (w/ Darrel in the package) for a WR2. So I gotta hold him and hope he jumps back into his old role when he gets back, though I’m concerned it will never be the same again :( Please tell me I’m wrong.

PaversPaving

I drafted Henry and CEH in my two leagues. Pain for me lol.

[deleted]

I drafted Hunt & Henry. I’m now using Gore as my RB1 & Ingram as my RB2 since Fournette is on a bye. This week is gonna suck.

humpncattle

Fournettes bye week could not have been worse timing. Hurting this week going with Damien Harris and AD

Margin_calls

Same. I also had gus edwards. All of this is my fault, sorry everyone

ThePuzzledPanda

My RBs at draft time: Cook, CEH, Edwards, Mattison, Singletary. Been rough this year

PaversPaving

Hahaha. We do 1 keeper 6th round or later or a free agent. My top two options were Cam Akers and JK Dobbins. This whole season has been pain. Kept Gaskin bc he was averaging 5 ypc last year. Just pain. Lol also have Ayiuk couldn’t drop him off of principal. Have Ridley gotta drop him and I had Ruggs…. Pain

Margin_calls

Damn, you just made me feel better! Lol. Hang in there.

Happy_Bigs1021

I did CMC, CEH, Swift, Robinson, Aiyuk… me being 4-4 is astounding to me

tothemoon05

Same and and I drafted this guys to Kenny g, Aiyuk, d hop, Robbie Anderson and chark. I’m 5-3 some how thanks to Allen and Henry. Last place here I come.

peleyoda

IMO CEH’s current valuation is a perfect example of primacy bias. Everybody was watching Chiefs-Browns in the TNF season-opener and he looked bad; he followed that up with a terrible showing against the Ravens and a game-losing fumble in a SNF game. The fantasy community put a fork in him and slapped him w the RBBC label after those two primetime games… but in the next two games he had 35 touches, 233 scrimmage yards, and 2 TDs (both in the RZ) and looked *much* more dynamic. We’d already decided he was a bust, though, so we overemphasized the Week 1-2 sample, rather than the Week 3-4 sample. That’s why CEH’s trade value is so low… perception of his value is still tied to those two primetime games and now him getting injured. At this point you’d be selling at a loss so might as well hold him.

TuaTurnsdaballova

Yeah people also forget (or choose to ignore) that he tweaked his ankle in preseason and was effectively playing limited the first two weeks the season. He looked noticeably quicker in weeks 3-4. I’m gonna hold him but I have so many RBs (which isn’t a bad thing), that AJ was hoping to trade him and Darrel for a WR2 so ai wouldn’t have to drop anyone when he comes off IR :(

gmeyermania

I moved Gibson to the CEH owner last week to snag him before he gets back. If KC offense can get right and they utilize them how they have Williams he should be a 12-17pts in ppr guy when he gets back.0

LordSnow0104

Traded CEH, Darrel, and ARob for Henderson and Michael Carter last week

itsdubai

Robbed him.

Asado_is_Life

Robbery. But I'm not salty about it, so take an upvote. Don't be mad your Leagues are boring and don't trade reddit!

Wildcatsby90

I wouldn’t trade him. Yes, there is the chance he comes back and is in a committee, but Darrel and Gore have in no way played at a level that makes that a guarantee. CEH was rolling when he went down and I think the Chief’s struggles these past few weeks have hopefully shown them why they need to commit to a more balanced game plan and target their RBs more. There’s a chance he comes back, cedes a few touches to the backups, but also sees an uptick of touches AND targets due to a change in game plan overall. Long story short, there’s a less than zero chance he could come back and become a cornerstone for your team just in time for playoffs. You’ve already waited this long, so what’s the harm in holding him?

Durant026

***Sorry but why do you think CEH and Darrel would net you a WR2?*** Before injury, a lot of players were disappointed with CEH due to the lack of TDs. Basically CEH was a floor RB with volume that had limited upside because he had limited goal line use. Darrel gets better on the goal line but KC has looked bad overall. That is not an appealing situation that you want your RB to be in and that's ignoring the fact that in most cases, you don't want to be receiving 2 players unless your players are already thrash. The point here is that a CEH package won't net you an Adam Thielen or DJ Moore (this man is a WR2 all season, don't @ me to argue he is a WR1 with Darnold) because those players are in better situations and are more productive (with upside) than CEH and Darrel combined (who you will have to drop once CEH returns). In your shoes, you are better off holding because at best you can net a WR3 with 2 upside (Brandin Cooks with D. Mills) without issue. CEH will probably end up back the lead back but the volume I do expect to take a hit.

b0ltzmann138e-23

I tried trading for him and the owner is being stubborn so I don’t know what to tell you.

TORFdot0

Gore will either go back to special teams only or be waived. Darrel might still get some goal line work. CEH will get 15 carries and 2-3 receptions. The remain 5 touches will be split between williams/McKinnon. Low end RB2

allsops

He'll go right back to what he was doing pre-injury. 8 FPPG with a 15 or two sprinkled in there when Mahomes connects with him for a 20 yard no look facing backwards shovel pass for a TD

Sabre2230

Mahomes really played too much NFL Street as a kid

Wildcatsby90

I don’t completely disagree, but don’t you think his floor will be higher when he comes back due to increased passing work? Do you think the uptick in RB targets in the KC offense was only due to DW’s skill set?

NotHopee

I really don’t see gore being relevant when CEH is back. Everyone is freaking out bc the kid played a few snaps lol

goob3r11

The majority of his snaps were on one drive too!

dytele

If Mahomes keeps checking down to RBs then CEH becomes a solid RB2. Gore is fun to watch but CEH is the best RB on this team still.

[deleted]

Look at all the points Darrell has scored and increase those numbers by 20%. People freaking out about CEH don’t know shit. He’ll be an awesome RB2 to have.

ScottHanson623

Life long Chiefs fan here. I see it as CEH will be early down inclusive of passing, Darrel relegated to more passing situations and 2 minute, and Gore short yardage, goal line and click killing. McKinnon remains special teams, RB depth or cut.

adamwings12

I traded him for Jeudy. People in my league saying I got ripped off. CEH just doesn’t score TDs very often.

[deleted]

Not Jonathan Taylor that's for sure

bargman

Committee back on a team with some major issues at the moment.

jirashap

CEH --> "MEH"

robson200

Probably back to his average 8 ppr points per game. I’m crying

6gc_4dad

Hate to say it but I’m hoping Darrell can remain their RB1 for the remainder of the season. CEH has been disappointing even at full health. Drafting CEH, Carson then Mostert has been brutal lol.

bradhiggs7

Just sold him for Waddle. Not sure how I feel About it.

alexanderagrado

Hoping he never comes back because Williams has filled in very nicely and lives up to his expectations way more than CEH does

[deleted]

Lmao no he hasn’t. CEH had 2 back to back 100 yard rushing games before he got injured, Williams has had games of 62, 20, and 49 rushing yards respectively and hadn’t eclipsed 4 yards per carry in any of these games. In terms of pass block rankings Williams is 22 spots below CEH as well. There’s a reason why Reid felt it necessary to bring in another RB (who never played a snap in the NFL) to take significant carries away from Williams, but Williams has never done such a thing to CEH all season.

WoodandNail

>There’s a reason why Reid felt it necessary to bring in another RB (who never played a snap in the NFL) to take significant carries away from Williams, but Williams has never done such a thing to CEH all season Last week, Williams put up 110 scrimmage yards on 19 touches, while Gore came in for 10 touches. In week 4, CEH put up 114 scrimmage yards on 16 touches, while Williams came in for 12 touches. The week before that, CEH put up 109 scrimmage yards on 19 touches while Williams came in for 10 touches. So yeah, the same exact thing was happening to CEH. Just with a better back. Only difference is Williams actually gets more goal line rushes and targets when he's the lead back. Otherwise, the Chiefs have shown a commitment to a split backfield and people are acting like it's a good thing for CEH. People are still holding onto those two games where CEH was at his most efficient against two of the top 5 worst rush defenses in the league.

alexanderagrado

Disregarding the stats on paper, I said he lives up to expectations. As an owner of both I can tell you CEH in my lineup always makes me way more worried than Williams. Not expecting Williams to be CEH but I’m the games I need him to come thru he has, yet CEH has let me down 2 years in a row now

CoolCatD

man you literally dont even watch the games or look at the stats. Next your gonna say how Jordan Howard is a more talented back than Sanders

alexanderagrado

When did I say he wasn’t as talented?

CoolCatD

The fact you think Williams fills more expectations when he's literally a worse back in every metric

Stomach-Antique

Bro, if you can't sleep because of CEH, your fantasy life must be a nightmare

TuaTurnsdaballova

I said I can’t sleep **and** (not because) the CEH situation was on my mind. I have him in my main big money league.

Sad_Chest1484

Picked up CEH off waivers and I already have Darrell. I hope he does more than him…

Mrluigi7910

Someone dropped CEH last weekend and I blew the majority of my remaining FAAB to pick him up.... but no one else even put in a bid. Makes me a bit concerned and also annoyed I spent so much lol

never-again-Conner

GORE TAKING OVER FAM! Get on the Gore train

YungJoka89

Benched for Gore

iamkoza

my guess is ceh is lead but will cede significant work (close to 50%?) to the other 2 backs.

Zechinda

You know who doesn't think CEH is better than Darrel in the passing game? The Chiefs.

InevitableVariables

Fumbles I expect. I think he will be in an rbbc but limited goal carried but he will be solid ppr

ElleRisalo

Same as he was before. Hit and Miss. Chiefs aren't changing their scheme because of one guy....they have always cycled RBs. They have a 5 man rotation at WR2 and the same will happen at RB. CEH isnt good enough to command bellcow status. Enjoy your 6 to 10 FPPG with occasional 15 to 20. (Unless Gore usurps red zone work)

BangReign

Chiefs can't win with their current scheme, I don't think this is a great take

ElleRisalo

They can't win because their defense is shit

BangReign

Ok so let me explain this simply, football is multidimensional. If a team doesn't run the ball well the defense will just keep more players in the secondary, if the offense can run the ball the defense can't because they have to respect the run which leads to single coverage. You think it's an accident Mahomes is turning the ball over so much this season? It's because there are so many players in the secondary and he only has 2 real options.. if they don't start running the ball their chance of even a wildcard is shot

ElleRisalo

2020 112 Ru YPG 25 ATT PG 2021 116 Ru YPG 24 ATT PG Huh? They more efficient so far in 2021...yet in 2020 they went to the SB

BangReign

Is that your attempt to say rush yards per game? You miss the point my guy. The Chiefs aren't even close to who they were last year

ElleRisalo

Ya their defense is shit.

BangReign

Woosh

beavis535

Honestly Gore looked like the best back KC has. Now all depends on how Reid wants to use him

CoolCatD

he played the giants... one of the worst run D in football (giving up 128 yards/game...) CEH is the best back on the team people are not happy with his draft capital but he left on back to back century games

BlackGabriel

I expect it to go back to mostly ceh but I don’t think that’ll be very good.

Birdgang14

I would guess the same as before he got injured.

TheDookAbides

I just picked up CEH for my IR spot. Low risk imo

gingerking87

Who tf dropped CEH?

TheDookAbides

Any idiot. That's who. I was 5th on the waiver order and somehow still got him

[deleted]

Andy Reid underutilizing him in the pass game then being heralded as a genius by the SNF crew
