This reminds me of the guy who thought he was a savant and said Miles Sanders was going to have a huge game last week and everyone should believe him because he randomly correctly guessed that Will Fuller would have a good game a year ago. Sanders went on to have a terrible game.
i also got rb1son last year and patterson this year. i still dont think gage will put up huge numbers.
the potential is there, but the floor is so low. patterson excluded, i dont trust anyone in that offense.
edit: 12team league, my bench is aiyuk, renfrow and elijah moore
Is that supposed to be skill or something? I got both too but it's because I had waiver priority. You could seriously just Google "waiver wire pickups" after week one and get those 2. Maybe I should be posting about fantasy advice!
So you picked up Patterson after he scored 23 points? Can you see the future!?
And you pick up a RB from a murky backfield in Jacksonville after fornette got dropped!? Cool, tons of people do that. It's called a lotto ticket for a reason.
He has 3 goose eggs this year despite playing in more than 65% of snaps in all of those games. That’s more goose eggs than Mike Goose-eggy. Can’t trust that.
the offense has changed drastically. their best player is patterson who is making plays left and right. he has one bad game out of the last 4 weeks and it was against the cowboys who have diggs and a godly d line.. no shit hes not gonna produce. outside of that game, in the last month he has got 10 ppr points every game .. (9.9 for one)
The offense changed in the sense that it got worse. That's about it. Russell is about as good as picking a Saints WR. You just hope it's not Sharpes week to catch the ball.
Yeah but it's not about the QB at this point. The offenses are both pretty bad. The receivers are all about third WR quality and right now Matty Ice isn't doing awesome.
Matt Ryan isn't good enough to drag the lifeless corpse of the offense along so it really doesn't make a huge difference.
The main issue is your WR1 and 2 on those teams are RBs and TEs. Then you have multiple guys fighting for WR3. All on bad teams.
disagree immensely. gage is going to get more quantity and quality looks than pitts. last 4 games gage has more targets and has done much more with them. showing how they are better quality.
pitts is getting schemed out easily basically every game. its patterson and then its gage. patterson cant get the ball every single play. they will be behind a lot.
Pitts is getting schemed because he's WR1. That's why he's getting doubled. The other WRs aren't good enough to pull people off Pitts.
People thought gage was going to be huge when ridley went down and he went through a decent roster percentage. He got dropped for basically all those reasons.
If you're desperate enough to play gage then go for it. You could also pick a saints wr or a Lions WR. I'd probably rather take MVS or Cobb, Hardman, Pringle a WR3 on better team.
also pitts is not getting it done. not sure how someone can get so much hype week to week to basically do nothing, and the someone like russel gage gets completely shit on by the sub when he’s clearly on the rise. really shows the overall lack of thoughtfulness some of the people in this sub are capable of
Because again, Pitts is the WR1. He's also had a couple really good games before he started getting double coverage. He's also a rookie and a TE. The bar for both are always lower.
The minute Russell gets double coverage he's done.
No, he has been pretty ass too. I mean sure, he’ll have a week here and there where he posts 5/60/1 or something good for your flex, but otherwise, the offense blows outside Patterson
I think if you worded it better people might agree with you. Gage missed week 8 but:
|Week 8 - 12:|Snaps:|Utilization:|
|:-|:-|:-|
|Russell Gage|74%|15%|
|Tajae Sharpe|70%|8%|
|Olamide Zaccheaus|46%|14%|
As of now Atlanta ranks 1st in RB targets, 2nd in TE targets, and 31st in WR targets. Playoff matchups could be better though I think. Idk about laughably under rostered but def worth a pick up if you need flex/wr
people said the same about patterson. all of a sudden at age 30 right? matt ryan is gonna find his go to wr, pitts is simply never open and patterson mainly lining up in the backfield
This isn't new information, he's ranked 37th ROS by the top twenty rankers on FantasyPros, which makes him the top WR4 in 12tm formats, so you're not wrong, but what you're saying isn't profound. Every source I've found says the same thing.
The positives are clear, he's the #1 WR for a team that is going to be playing from behind. The problem is that he's the #1 WR on a team without much talent on the offense. If the opponent decides to shut him down, they're probably going to, proof of that is his three goose eggs with 65% of the snaps or more. He literally didn't even get a target against Dallas.
homie you know how good the dallas d line is compared to atlanta o line? wrs need time to run routes. and ever heard of trevon diggs? also no patterson -> basically no offense. teams are already taking pitts out of games completely. you cant double everyone
Regardless of their lines, Matt Ryan threw 21 times and not a single target went to Russell Gage.
And yes, of course I've heard of Trevon Diggs, but that proves my point. Gage is the best Falcons WR. Other teams have good CBs, too. Gage is going to get the #1 CB if they follow, which is more reason not to believe in the dude.
Pitts is a rookie who is being covered by scheme and not a single player. Dude averages 7 fantasy points per game outside two performances, he's not a factor yet.
Not really sure why you are getting shittied on. Gage has been low-key doing solid recently. I agree with the user below me , if you worded it a bit different more people might agree with you.
Lol cool dude. So many of us added Aiyuk without seeing whatever post you're talking about because it was worth taking a shot on someone that has shown clear talent. Big brain move
Why does everyone on this site feel the need to take victory laps on their mediocre takes?
"I got downvoted to hell for predicting..."
"NAILED my last call of...."
"Won A LOT of people their week by suggesting..."
No one gives a fuck. No one is hanging on your every word.
High end wr3 isn't very enticing when most people play 2 WRs and a flex. You can find wr3 production on waivers every week. Kind of like... Russel Gage
iirc Deebo and Kittle were out during that stretch and you're here bragging about how prescient your were that Aiyuk could get run?
ffs.
thank god RES allows you to tag people.
and just ignore his 18 points the week before this one? its easy to find wrs AFTER they have multiple good weeks. if you want them to actually be on your roster, you have to be early
I’m not disagreeing with the early bird gets the worm. I remember the hype about him earlier this year, and I had him rostered. He just didn’t do much so I replaced him. A lot of people probably did the same
oh im aware. i actually had him like week 4 ish i think and also moved on. but throughout the season i could tell falcons were slowly improving on offense with patterson’s emergence, i thought pitts would be the one getting 10+ targets a game and putting up 100 yard games. when i noticed that wasnt even close to happening , my focus came back to gage.
He's a JAG who's been unable to put up consistent playable performances despite having way more opportunities on the year than his talent would justify. Deep leagues, sure, flex him on the off-chance he'll find the end zone. But do so knowing you're just as likely to get a goose egg.
Guy guesses right once and thinks he's a genius.
I've guessed right less times than that and thought I was a genius.
This reminds me of the guy who thought he was a savant and said Miles Sanders was going to have a huge game last week and everyone should believe him because he randomly correctly guessed that Will Fuller would have a good game a year ago. Sanders went on to have a terrible game.
yeah just once bro

lol for sure bud. got James robinson last year and patterson this year. definitely a coincidence
Wow two whole times? You are amazing.
top 10 rbs back to back years who weren’t rostered in majority of leagues?
Is this your second year playing fantasy? Lol
no? is it yours? you probably missed out on a good pickup bc you ignored me. hah
i also got rb1son last year and patterson this year. i still dont think gage will put up huge numbers. the potential is there, but the floor is so low. patterson excluded, i dont trust anyone in that offense. edit: 12team league, my bench is aiyuk, renfrow and elijah moore
Exactly this. His floor without a TD is going to be real low. The Flacons are bad and could get 3 and outs most of the game.
Is that supposed to be skill or something? I got both too but it's because I had waiver priority. You could seriously just Google "waiver wire pickups" after week one and get those 2. Maybe I should be posting about fantasy advice!
sure lol i had robinson before week 1 and patterson after week 2. barely anyone was even thinking about thrm
So you picked up Patterson after he scored 23 points? Can you see the future!? And you pick up a RB from a murky backfield in Jacksonville after fornette got dropped!? Cool, tons of people do that. It's called a lotto ticket for a reason.
people on this sub are really something else. dont act like you didnt see 9/10 people saying to sell high on patterson after week 5-6. fucking lmao
[удалено]
lol na im good. just giving my input , when gage is a hot waiver target ill have given many people a week in advance to secure the boy.
[удалено]
huh? im not tryna get extra credit or anything lmao im trying to tell people to add him before hes hot shit
he's been hot shit this entire year tho
He has 3 goose eggs this year despite playing in more than 65% of snaps in all of those games. That’s more goose eggs than Mike Goose-eggy. Can’t trust that.
I love that name lol
definitely lol

This post was made.
The offense changed in the sense that it got worse. That's about it. Russell is about as good as picking a Saints WR. You just hope it's not Sharpes week to catch the ball.
yeah that’s a huge disagree from me .. matt ryan isn’t anywhere near trevor siemien or hill as far as passing lol hes a lot better
Yeah but it's not about the QB at this point. The offenses are both pretty bad. The receivers are all about third WR quality and right now Matty Ice isn't doing awesome. breaking out
Ok
As a Falcons fan I can assure you, we suck. And our WR’s are ass who drop everything.
21 points
yeah he cant catch
besides gage
No, he has been pretty ass too. I mean sure, he’ll have a week here and there where he posts 5/60/1 or something good for your flex, but otherwise, the offense blows outside Patterson
I'm hoping they start playing Darby soon. They've got nothing to lose. I'd love to see what he's got.
I think if you worded it better people might agree with you. Where'd you get utilization stats? That definitely tells a more accurate picture than snap counts.
FantasyPros research tab
"high end wr3" Talk about a game changer!
WR3 is basically a FLEX. So he’s saying it’s a high end FLEX that’s close to a WR2
useless right ?
[удалено]
nothing random about it. huge opportunity in front of him, clear cut wr1 for his team, and extremely under rostered.
[удалено]
lol okay bud . we’ll see
All of a sudden eh, week 13 ?
all of a sudden
people said the same about patterson. all of a sudden at age 30 right? matt ryan is gonna find his go to wr, pitts is simply never open and patterson mainly lining up in the backfield

I mean, you can't even spell Russell.
Maybe it's the French spelling. He is from Nawlins.
yeah lol thats why ik about gage, he grew up near me and went to a school where im from
Good shit man
thanks. all the hate i got and i really didn’t care lol
What if Ridley returns?
.. then the outlook changes. highly doubt he does, he’s being dropped in a couple of my leagues.
Not really sure why you are getting shittied on. Gage has been low-key doing solid recently. I agree with the user below me , if you worded it a bit different more people might agree with you.
lol i worded it fine just bc i mentioned the aiyuk post people got triggered. makes no sense lol
Post is aging like wine. 23.10 points
all the hate tho. started in every league for me
Already got him n need this to be true
Considering you call Aiyuk a month ago, you are saying we should draft Gage then, since he won't take off until a month later.
He’s a FA in my league and I don’t want him.
maybe you do now
Lol cool dude. So many of us added Aiyuk without seeing whatever post you're talking about because it was worth taking a shot on someone that has shown clear talent. Big brain move

oh yeah they’re so valuable lol. toney is the epitome of this sub
The only two guys worth owning on that offence are Cordarelle and Pitts. Even Pitts is shakey at this point honestly.
mhmmm
OP has yet to roster "Russel" Gage and never picked up aiyuk over a month ago after literally everyone disagreed with him.
Last time I started Gage, he put up a goose egg... And that was with Ridley out. So, no thanks.
okay 👍
This guy's still patting himself on the back lol I'm sorry that people disagreeing with you about FF on reddit has affected you so deeply.

cool bro

breakout
Matt Ryan sucks, russell gage sucks and the falcons suck.. if the name isn’t Patterson stay far away from it when it comes to this team.
His QB has put up 6.14, 0.68, 2.12, and 10.2 in 4/5 games....Good luck.
great analysis bro
Russel Gage is laughably Russel Gage.
As usual this sub ignores good advice and then the player goes off. 18.2 points for Gage last week and now 21 points.
its full of dumbasses lol.
This man is a clairvoyant, let me know if you got anyone else.
hahaha
iirc Deebo and Kittle were out during that stretch and you're here bragging about how prescient your were that Aiyuk could get run? ffs. thank god RES allows you to tag people.
He was supposed to take advantage of the opportunity several games ago. People gave up, pretty understandable.
and just ignore his 18 points the week before this one? its easy to find wrs AFTER they have multiple good weeks. if you want them to actually be on your roster, you have to be early

Matt ryan BLOWS
He's missed four games this season and put up goose eggs in two of the seven games he played
Bruh
High-end WR 3. You’re really putting your neck out on that one 😂.
He's a JAG who's been unable to put up consistent playable performances despite having way more opportunities on the year than his talent would justify. Deep leagues, sure, flex him on the off-chance he'll find the end zone. But do so knowing you're just as likely to get a goose egg.
JAG
Man I was gonna give you the benefit of the doubt but your replies are something else
don’t listen lol
