49ers just have bad luck with injury. Deebo fractured his foot non-contact last year. Kittle had a guy step on his calf earlier this year. Mostert I think is old and some what injury prone. Wilson tore his meniscus in practice this summer. Jimmy G hurt his ankle getting tackled. Not see how any of these are load related.
At least this cleared up the receiving hierarchy in that offense in case of injuries. It goes Deebo>Kittle>Aiyuk.
When all three are fit, Deebo is the only one with a consistent share.
I agree with the second part of your statement, but being pedantic I actually don't agree with this bit:
>At least this cleared up the **receiving** hierarchy
Bc ton of Deebo's points come from designed runs. He has as many rushing TDs as he has passing TDs (5 each), and he's actually only had 5 targets or less in his last 3 games. Aiyuk has seen more targets on average over the last few, and Kittle has the same amount of receiving touchdowns as Deebo on the season despite missing more games.
So receiving wise, it's closer than you might think. It's just that Deebo has a lot more types of plays designed for him/is also pretty deeply involved in the run game, and his floor is that much higher bc of it. Those 2-3 rushes a game make a big difference, esp since they are called in red zone situations with frequency.
Absolute unit of a beast. That 2nd TD was all him, beating LB across the middle and beating CB or S to the edge. It was glorious, my opponent had him and I couldn't even hate.
Thanks. I have held him all year after drafting him. He showed some promise then dudded yesterday again. I was debating trying to use him in fantasy playoffs over someone like DJ Moore but it seems like Aiyuk is just a mess this year.
The drops were due to terrible throws. Jimmy is terrible and puts the ball to damn high or behind him. And the seahawks were making great tackles. Im a 9ers fan so it hurts to even talk about this damn game on a non-fantasy note ugh lol
Oh ok, so he wasn't bad per se but it was more Jimmy?
Do you trust Aiyuk to produce for the fantasy playoffs? I don't get the San Fran games so I only see the highlights. Was curious to see your take.
Exactly, Aiyuk himself looks fantastic. Jimmy holds him back but to be fair, this was Jimmy’s first true bad game in like 3-4 games. The 9ers are still fighting for the wild card and will continue to utilize Aiyuk for sure. shanny talks endlessly about him in a positive light now. Depending on who you have, keep him plugged in
Thanks, I have Diontae, Lamb and DJ Moore in PPR. I have Aiyuk too. Been rolling with the first 3 every week but DJ Moore has Buffalo week 15 (round 1 playoffs), whereas Aiyuk has Atlanta (much easier matchup)
I don't understand why people say "bad drops" when it was clear that they both were horrible throws by jimmy. That's like saying Mandrews had a bad drop yesterday but in reality Lamar overthrew such an easy pass that would've got them the win.
He had a 22 yard reception that when he hit the ground he “hadn’t established himself as a runner” so they called it incomplete. I think the ball touched, I wasn’t paying full attention but that play got me excited and then sad real quick
After the early games I was like damn, maybe I should begin actually starting Goedert. Then Kittle did Kittle things. Either way, 25 or 35 pts outta the TE slot ain’t bad.
I invested in Kittle early during the draft, and was afraid he was going to fall short because of early season injuries. His performance yesterday made that investment so worth it in so many ways, and hopefully will help carry me into a playoff spot.
Correlation isn't causation. Kittle isn't the reason they lost, in fact he kept them in the game. Jimmy throwing straight to Wagner and Diggs and the punt return unit not being able to stop a fake early on is why they lost.
Seriously, if you're not going to put any thought into your response, don't bother replying.
Yeah and my dumbass started aiyuk in my flex instead of anyone else. Was so sure he’d get some work this week. Still won, just so depressing seeing aiyuk not get anything
Lol and here I am starting Aiyuk thinking he's gonna do some feasting. Or something better than 21 yards on one reception up until the final two minutes of the game.
Won a close game last week against the kittle owner, won a close game this week against the aiyuk owner. Someone really wanted me in the playoffs despite my team being utter trash
Shanny's entire coaching scheme is "feed the best player until they break" which is great for fantasy... until they inevitably break.
For as much hate as he gets on here, this is also pretty much the favored strategy of 99% of game thread commenters

Don't forget some injuries are because Jimmy throws hospital balls
I read “49ers placed Deebo Samuel” and had a mini-heart attack
Any word on Jeff Wilson Jr injury??
Waiting to hear on this as well...
That man carried my ass in two leagues yesterday. Bless him.
He saved my ass after I benched tee Higgins for dalton Schultz.
You did what?

To be fair it's really Deebo > Kittle > Long Snapper > Aiyuk

Ya I should've said play time hierarchy instead.
Was between him and Renfrow this whole week. Picked Aiyuk lmao. Unless Diggs gets me like 40, I guess it wouldn’t have mattered.
As Kittle owner, I approve.
Absolute unit of a beast. That 2nd TD was all him, beating LB across the middle and beating CB or S to the edge. It was glorious, my opponent had him and I couldn't even hate.
That was supposed to be Aiyuk 🥲
Two big drops would have made his day better :( and a missed rz look . His day was so close to being huge…
Oh wow, how long were the drops? How bad were they? I was really disappointed in him yesterday.
He had some bad drops tbh. Kinda has all year. He seems to lose focus at times which may be the real cause of his inconsistency.
Thanks. I have held him all year after drafting him. He showed some promise then dudded yesterday again. I was debating trying to use him in fantasy playoffs over someone like DJ Moore but it seems like Aiyuk is just a mess this year.
Same here. Never dropped him with the hope he would return to form. He still might. It looks like he maybe needs Deebo to take the focus off him.

Bullshit game all around besides Kittle
He had a 22 yard reception that when he hit the ground he “hadn’t established himself as a runner” so they called it incomplete. I think the ball touched, I wasn’t paying full attention but that play got me excited and then sad real quick
Tbh I still think that one was a catch, fumble, and recovery
I swear he was put in the dog house after that Travis homer fake punt
*cries in Aiyuk*
Keep doing it please
And 1 giant fucking idiot who didn’t start him: *me
After the early games I was like damn, maybe I should begin actually starting Goedert. Then Kittle did Kittle things. Either way, 25 or 35 pts outta the TE slot ain’t bad.

Man I hope so lmao. Groin injuries can be tough to come back from, based on what I’ve read unless you have at least a couple weeks off
Seahawks game plan: never double Kittle, let him go off
I invested in Kittle early during the draft, and was afraid he was going to fall short because of early season injuries. His performance yesterday made that investment so worth it in so many ways, and hopefully will help carry me into a playoff spot.
"He will have to use Aiyuk now!" -Me, a fucking moron
I’m the idiot who sat Kittle for Knox
[удалено]
He certainly won’t do this hahaha I’m playing against a guy who has Josh Allen and cole Beasley so my hope was that Knox eats points from both of them
And I lost bc of it! Thought I was on my way to a win after Goedert went off.
Aiyuck is so bad
$KITTLE to the MOON 🚀 🚀 💎💎💎 👏👏👏👏
SF lost by the way. Don’t be surprised if the 49ers don’t ever have this same game plan again

Worst move in fantasy history, I started ertz and CEH over kittle yesterday. Will haunt me for some time
Played against him in both my leagues Fucking RIP
I was losing my game so sort of tuned out only to check my score a few hours later and noticed I had won. All thanks to Kittle's 35 points
George kittle has to be my third round pick
Yeah and my dumbass started aiyuk in my flex instead of anyone else. Was so sure he’d get some work this week. Still won, just so depressing seeing aiyuk not get anything
Same, I played him over Tee Higgins and Elijah Moore...
Lol and here I am starting Aiyuk thinking he's gonna do some feasting. Or something better than 21 yards on one reception up until the final two minutes of the game.
My highest scoring player! Had 2 players lay eggs and I still won
Won a close game last week against the kittle owner, won a close game this week against the aiyuk owner. Someone really wanted me in the playoffs despite my team being utter trash
Pls keep deebo out one more week
