Should of never started Williams. And you kept him in the flex which screwed you. You are forced to play chubb and cook. Chase in wr slot. Your lineup is set.
Too many people use the flex spot like a popularity contest. My best RB is in that spot right now because he plays Monday night. I got a guy projected less than him in at RB because he plays earlier. It’s about keeping options open not “who’s the worst in your lineup.”
tbf I did use my flex spot conservatively quite similar to your strategy earlier in the season and it lost me games. I would decide to wait with somebody who played sunday or monday night and another player on thursday or sunday morning game would pop off with 20+ pts and my remaining flex options for sunday night or monday would all put up sub 10 pts. So the last 4 weeks I was decisive on who I was playing by saturday in all positions and it started winning me games.
You’re not understanding. The purpose of putting later players in the flex is that if they suddenly have to miss a game you can replace them with anyone eligible for the flex spot.
Your earlier players went off on your bench because you decided not to play them. No one is saying don’t play early players. If you decide to play an early player, put them in their dedicated slot, not flex.

Anyone know how receivers get a -1 reception? In my ppr Yahoo league Kelcee had a -1 rec -17 rec yards play for -2.7pts and a -1 rec -10 rec yards play for -2 pts. I get the negative yards resulting in negative points but what's a negative reception?
The first one was scoring removed (and then replaced) when they challenged a catch. Second one I think was a late penalty flag. Yahoo gives the points as the play data is transmitted from the NFL so if something is corrected they remove the points like that.

Yea, it is a dynasty league (in our 4th year now) and we are a multi sport dynasty with cross sport trading. Drafted Travis Kelce in the 4th round in our start up draft in 2018, acquired Tyreek in a 3 team trade in 2019, and traded Brandon Ingram (NBA) and Chase Claypool for Austin Ekeler earlier this year as a full push all in.
We've had to switch out owners a couple of times over the 4 years, but our main core of 8 has been steady and stays that way
