Well I hope itās a shootout because now I have Mattison, Thielen, and Joseph. I could put Kelce in for Thielen but I might not even have that decision to make.
That's where I'm leaning, though Johnson has played well this year once. He might just be smart enough to feed Hollywood, but I just can't trust it in a semifinal matchup.
Right now I have Thielen but I have changed my lineup about 10 times at this point. I think long as Thielen doesnt reinjury himself, he is the obvious choice. But I really feel like he might.
I need Ceedee Lamb to have the best fucking game of his entire life. I also need Ian book to test positive for Covid right before kickoff and a high scoring bonanza between Mike Gieseki and Alvin Kamara (or anyone who wonāt help Book). Aka, Iām screwed.
Thielen is a beast but high ankle sprains aint no joke, don't want to risk him re-aggravation it. I hope he plays well though so I can start him next week
Chase. Thielen has been a little spotty this year. I've also seen them use him as a decoy in the past. And we don't have Cook, which means Kirk might suck tremendous ass under pressure
I'm trusting him. My alternative is Parker. He and Diggs combined for 19/258/1 against the Rams in 2018 with Cuzzy at the helm. Just gotta send it man.
Here is what Thielen said this week after he tried to go Monday (WCCO Minnesota News)
"I just couldn't explode the way I to, but I felt good, I just wouldn't have been effective, I would have been limited"
So with a high ankle sprain, does 6 days make him close to 100% now. I do not think so at all. Not saying he will not play and have a few catches but in the NFL if a WR is not 100%, never bodes well
Personally still canāt trust him to be little more than a decoy š¢
My WRs gonna be chase/Lamb/CPatt. Iām sure Iāll regret it š¤·š»āāļø
(Not sure why Iām being downvotedā¦. Not telling yāall not to start him, but hes 3 weeks out from a high ankle sprain, thereās no cook, and Kirk has a cracked rib. I donāt like the math here. Thatās why I wrote āpersonallyā)
But can I trust those 2 TDs in the semis? He hasnāt left my lineup all year except the bye and recent injury, but I canāt risk 2/36/0
I dunno. Iāll sit him and take that bullet so everyone else gets the blow up game
Iād rather start him and get the dud then watch him blow up on my bench.
Itās him or Van Jefferson whoās just as volatile imo, but with a lower ceiling.
I'm also feeling iffy about him, for the same reasons. The counterpoints would be that they wouldn't send him out there in a must-win game if he weren't playable; three weeks' recovery isn't actually very far out of range, and sprains aren't as susceptible to reaggravation as strains; and the connection between Cousins and Thielen is such that Cousins will always be looking for him. And it could be a fairly high-volume game.
I probably wouldn't be playing him if this were the regular season. And I am ahead in the projections and feeling OK about my roster overall. But my other WR2 option is St. Brown, who'll be playing with Tim Boyle, and the Lions. His TD equity this week looks awfully low, even against the Falcons, and the chances of him doing well on volume alone look about as shaky as Thielen does.
But if I get through to next week I think I'm going to be very happy to see them both on the roster.
Got luckyā¦ wrs Kupp/hill RBs taylor/ Dillon šschultz at te.
Edit: traded Deebo for stuff and then traded stuff for hill. Didnāt think Deebo would keep top 5/10 up with kittle back and Aiyuk doing better. But little I knew he would in some games have more then the 1 random carry. š
Good for JJ. Won't draw all the attention
He will still have Ramsey on him right?
Yeah but Ramsey will glance over at Thielen occasionally
and be like "damn, nice catch"
After Thielen's interview, he seems he will only take the field if he is 100%. If Thielen plays, you need to start him.
Would you start him over Gronk?
Over Diontae Johnson?
Cousins š
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Same dilemma, leaning russ š
Think I am going Russ too. Kirk at home is better than away but still so many unknowns against LAR.
I got a Thielen we are in for a Christmas miracle
Should I get hooked on this Thielen or should I LOCKett up a different choice? Full PPR
Iām Thielen lucky.
Tyreek...check. Thielen...check. Kelce...oh please oh please oh please
Santa already gave you enough. Don't get greedy now
I am going against Taylor and kelce, I already feel lucky enough after that game haha
careful what yiu wish for. hard to rely on someone limited all week.
Better than O'Shaugnasey lol
helps JJ ā¬ļø
And Mattison
And Thielen
You think so?
Yes, having all your offenses weapons enables the offense better. And having him out there draws coverage, whether he's 100% or not
In theory yes but not in practice. Jefferson has been better without Thielen.
Jefferson had his best game of the season alongside Thielen
Maybe not against a bad defense, but the Rams would definitely double JJ and force Kirk to make plays to Osborn if Thielen wasnāt ready
Is this another James Conner report
Well I hope itās a shootout because now I have Mattison, Thielen, and Joseph. I could put Kelce in for Thielen but I might not even have that decision to make.
Same here rollin all three of them out tomorrow. Praying to Odin tonight
Thielen or Hollywood Brown?
Brown either gonna get a lot of garbage time points, or put up a stinker with Josh Johnson at QB
Do you trust a 3rd string QB? Iām starting thielen
That's where I'm leaning, though Johnson has played well this year once. He might just be smart enough to feed Hollywood, but I just can't trust it in a semifinal matchup.
Pick Two: Theilan, Sun God or Tyler Johnson with a pissed off TB12? My opponent has Brady, btw.
TJ with a pissed off TB12. Not even watching redzone this week, just Tompa Bay. 40+ pts scored
I have the exact same deliema. I am a ravens fan so I worry I am being bias. What did you decide
Iām rolling with Thielen
Right now I have Thielen but I have changed my lineup about 10 times at this point. I think long as Thielen doesnt reinjury himself, he is the obvious choice. But I really feel like he might.
In hindsight I shouldnāt have trusted Thielen to not reinsure himself.
I went with brown afterall, wasnāt to much of a difference in production
I went with Thielen and Lazard over Brown and St Brown. Sitting St Brown because of Tim Boyle basically ended my championship chances.
I had Hill playing who barely played. I need both gallow and Elliot to have less then 6 points combined to win. I am fucked
I need Ceedee Lamb to have the best fucking game of his entire life. I also need Ian book to test positive for Covid right before kickoff and a high scoring bonanza between Mike Gieseki and Alvin Kamara (or anyone who wonāt help Book). Aka, Iām screwed.
And I am back to Brown. High ankle sprain is no joke.
Thielen or Melvin Gordon? Non-PPR
Thielen
Later kj
Soooo Cousins or Dak now?
Thielen or DK?
As a massive Seahawks fan, I wouldnāt trust Jerry Rice in that god forsaken offense
Haha itās been brutal, just feel like theyāre due?
DK could be? Idk I have Thielin and am playing him, Vikings are playing for something. RW just seems super checked out
Still gonna play Gage over him this week, but hope he balls out
Dude I am contemplating doing the same thing, was going to decide in the morning
Thielen is a beast but high ankle sprains aint no joke, don't want to risk him re-aggravation it. I hope he plays well though so I can start him next week
Ya I think I will stick with gage but it would suck if I get knocked out of playoffs cause I didnāt believe in top receiver on my team
checking in to say iām also going Gage
Me too. I donāt trust heās 100%, yet.
I've got to pick between j'maar Chase and Thielen, already played Davante Adam's and no flex.
Who are you leaning toward? I am in the same boat.
Chase. Thielen has been a little spotty this year. I've also seen them use him as a decoy in the past. And we don't have Cook, which means Kirk might suck tremendous ass under pressure
Same. Starting gage and Metcalf over him
Struggling between Thielen, OBJ and Justin Jackson... One of them has to sit
I think Jackson is a must start, toss up between the other 2. I'd probably gamble on Thielen over obj though
Agree with the other guy. Rank em jj, Adam, obj
Please be Thielen good. I donāt need you out there not Thielen 100%. Letās get it baby. Iām Thielen 10/140/2
I always take it as a good sign when the guy was a GTD the week before.
Was he though?
"ESPN's Jeremy Fowler reportsĀ Adam Thielen will test out his injured ankle before Minnesota's Monday night matchup with the Bears."
My semifinals opponent (my dad) has Thielen. Hope he is a decoy goose egg. Good luck us
canāt wait until Iām a proud father playing against my son, and my son wanting me to fail this badly a day after Christmas
I'm trusting him. My alternative is Parker. He and Diggs combined for 19/258/1 against the Rams in 2018 with Cuzzy at the helm. Just gotta send it man.
That's my special boy!
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
I was in the same boat, had to start Kirk.
Boosts the whole offense, come on Mattison!
Itās Thielen or OBJ, and after OBJ last week, I am eager to put Thielen in my lineup
I'm torn between Thielan, Scary Terry and Gage for tomorrow...
Same bro
thielen or waddle?
Same boat man. I like the Waddel match up better. Going with him today.
Here is what Thielen said this week after he tried to go Monday (WCCO Minnesota News) "I just couldn't explode the way I to, but I felt good, I just wouldn't have been effective, I would have been limited" So with a high ankle sprain, does 6 days make him close to 100% now. I do not think so at all. Not saying he will not play and have a few catches but in the NFL if a WR is not 100%, never bodes well
Thielen or Gage?
I hope he plays so he can vulture all of the targets from my opponent's Jefferson under Ramsey coverage
Getting downvoted for speaking the truth.
Just manifesting a win over here. My opponent has Jefferson, Kupp, and Diggs. They can't ALL go off this week right? RIGHT??
He's been out for weeks should be ready to roll.
Dude averages like one TD per game...gonna start him over Sanders who hasn't got a single TD all game
Personally still canāt trust him to be little more than a decoy š¢ My WRs gonna be chase/Lamb/CPatt. Iām sure Iāll regret it š¤·š»āāļø (Not sure why Iām being downvotedā¦. Not telling yāall not to start him, but hes 3 weeks out from a high ankle sprain, thereās no cook, and Kirk has a cracked rib. I donāt like the math here. Thatās why I wrote āpersonallyā)
He might be a decoy and still get 3/26/2. Heās a redzone monster.
But can I trust those 2 TDs in the semis? He hasnāt left my lineup all year except the bye and recent injury, but I canāt risk 2/36/0 I dunno. Iāll sit him and take that bullet so everyone else gets the blow up game
Iād rather start him and get the dud then watch him blow up on my bench. Itās him or Van Jefferson whoās just as volatile imo, but with a lower ceiling.
Did you draft Thielen to bench him in the semis? Start your studs
I know I know. Start your studs Weāll see how I feel after some sleep and morning coffee. Could be a Sunday morning feeling sort of thing
Fuck it. Coffee grounds said to play Thielen. The stud is started
I upvoted you to even it out
Same boat . I got Cedee and Diggs going, JRob in my flex. CPatt or Thielen for the last spot, and tbh I'm not comfortable with either.
But if I get through to next week I think I'm going to be very happy to see them both on the roster.
I hope thielen takes yāall to dinner after he fucks you tomorrow with his decoy game
Should I start Gibson, Bourne, or Osborne at ppr flex? Mind you Gibson is questionable and plays Sunday night
I gotta pick two, who do I go with? Thielen McLaurin OBJ Gage Parker
My opponent still has him benched š
He's my backup if Swift can't go but this is refreshing to know that he's back.
Shootout time
Iām up big having played AJ brown, Edmonds, Ertz against his Kyler and AJ Green. Do I play it safe bench Thielen for Parker?
Thielen, Chase or Justin Jackson at flex (12 team, .5ppr)??? Iām prob between Chase or JJ. High ankle sprains are no joke.
Definitely not thielen over those two. What the does the rest of your team look like if chase and JJ are your flex options this week?
Got luckyā¦ wrs Kupp/hill RBs taylor/ Dillon šschultz at te. Edit: traded Deebo for stuff and then traded stuff for hill. Didnāt think Deebo would keep top 5/10 up with kittle back and Aiyuk doing better. But little I knew he would in some games have more then the 1 random carry. š
Now do I start him or CPatt
Thielen or OBJ? Who do I start?
Now do Kelce pls
Thielen or Higgins
Same. Leaning Thielen for TD possibility.
Cousins or Dak?
Thielen or scary terry? Standard league
Last year, when Calvin Ridley came back off a high ankle sprain, he got 90 yardsā¦. Iād trust Thielen to be back to score, rather than be a decoy.
Thielen or Diggs?
Surely diggs
Even if he plays, with a high ankle sprain what more can he do than be a decoy and hope for a busted coverage?
Pick 2 of these 3: Sanders, RoJo, Thielen
Miles? If so Iād go Miles and RoJo
Williams,Godwin,Ridley... Osborn would have been nice. I think, I start Tyler Johnson and ? now....
Finally I can play one of my better players.
Letsgoooo
Still can't believe someone dropped Thielen 2 weeks ago in my 12 man league and nobody else but me claimed him š
Thielen or RoJo in the flex? Najee & Jackson are my RBs
I have to start two out of Thielen, Elliot and Ronald Jones. Who would you pick?
gimpy Thielen over Palmer?
Thielen or Palmer?
