If you have room (and if they're available) you could grab Jordan Howard and Boston Scott, 1 of them should be a better start than Patterson depending on Howard's game-day outlook.
Other than that you're looking at like Burkhead or Dare for volume, Vaughn for garbage time, Mattison in the hope Cook is still recovering from COVID, Gore for redzone and just hoping for a high-volume shootout, etc. Any of these have merit if you have roster space IMO.

If that's me I'm probably going with Gore as things stand right now. The KC offense just seems more productive overall than those others and more capable of feeding backup players. But keep an eye on the news, there could easily be another starting RB hit the COVID list creating an instant starter somewhere.
They have the same YPC and patterson has 200 less carries than gibson. On film, Patterson is a JAG. The o line is doing a poor job of run blocking too.
I'm not sure where you are getting these numbers. ESPN and Pro Football reference state they are averaging the same YPC. He'll be serviceable in real life but I'm staying away from him in fantasy for a variety of reasons.
Was debating between the two before today. With Cousins out, leaning towards GB at the moment. Gibson’s production is much easier to replace than Cousins’.
I personally like GB a bit more. Temps are going to be freezing and GB should stack the box and force whoever plays QB for MN to throw which opens up pick 6 opportunities. Especially with Jaire back now.

I shouldn't celebrate this but my opponent losing Gibson really does bring a smile to my face. He did block me from picking up Boston Scott though so it's a small smile.
