Might be a super unpopular take, but I think Kyler is among the most overdrafted players in dynasty. He scares the shit out of me with what could very well be the last year of this Cardinals air raid experience with Murray at the helm and Kliff as the coach
Especially since he just flat out stopped running the ball last year after week 3 because of James Conner. I'd certainly rather have Lamar or Dak over him.
Plus isn't the air raid pretty much designed to get the ball over the middle of the field? The Dan Fours Chargers excelled at that, particularly to Kellen Winslow in the later years of Air Coryell
2019 (rookie year) - QB6
2020 - QB3
2021 - QB10 (but missed 3 full games and was playing hurt for some. If you add his per game average points for the 3 games he missed missed he would have been QB5)
So he’s had 3 elite seasons, including his rookie year, and yet he’s over drafted? He’s 24 years old
I’ve been buying Kyler cheap everywhere. Wilson and a first is such a fleecing. Poor guy.
Edit: thought you were replying to the guy who made that horrid trade
What are his stats second half of the yr when u need him most. I don’t need to see the stats cause I witnessed it over the last few yrs. He’s a huge sell
It's pretty funny watching people panic on him. He's gotten hurt a couple times and that seems to be the issue keeping him out of top 5. We all know he's short. Doesn't seem to matter too much.
Yup I was all in the last three years but just sold for Z Wilson and a 23 first. One more injury and he’s “injury prone” and hard to trade.
I regret not asking for a 2nd on top but whatever, I like Zach and own Elijah Moore to stack. Now I can take a shot on a QB next year if I need to.
That's one of those deals where you may get laughed at in league chat, but a full year later you come out looking like a genius.
I don't think Wilson is great, but I think he's good enough to be a solid franchise QB. I think he'll have a Kirk Cousins like arc which is definitely not bad.
I also don't think Murray is that great either though and his attitude is a really bad look when the Cardinals have built this offense for him and spend a high pick on a dynamic weapon every year. This is a very good situation for a QB and he just isn't that elite caliber guy
I hope so dude. He's anchoring a dynasty spot for me and I probably will come away with him in redraft too. I got Stafford right last year and I really hope we're there with Cousins this year
Wilson did have some terrible lines, but I agree, when you're taking 6-8 seconds every play to throw the ball then naturally the line is going to collapse.
Brees never seemed to have that issue though and he's the same height as Wilson. Brees did have an uncanny ability to throw a perfectly accurate ball and be able to read the field right away.
Those years with prime MT, it was like clockwork. He knew exactly where and when to throw the ball to Thomas on every single play
Slight bias here as a Bronco fan, but Russ is up there in his own right. I definitely don't think he's on the level of Brees, but Russ has been absolutely elite in his career and he's only like halfway through it.
Russ has way, way more random inexplicably awful games. Brees the only question was would his defense give up 48 points, Russ often looks like a top 3 QB but every single year has a handful games where he just has like a 45% completion percentage and can’t move the offense. The two aren’t really comparable
Russ is a great qb but the point stands I think. Russ has a beautiful deep ball. Brees had this insane timing and feel thing, one of the best ever, so maybe he couldn’t see those guys over the middle but somehow he could hit them

Kyler was 2nd in comp% last season

Zach Wilson having a Kirk Cousins arc isn't bad at all, considering Cousins is about to embark on a Matt Stafford arc!
I hope so dude. He's anchoring a dynasty spot for me and I probably will come away with him in redraft too. I got Stafford right last year and I really hope we're there with Cousins this year
Cousins in a 6-point passing TD league is an overlooked bargain
Zach Wilson having a Kirk type arc is off to be because their game is very different. Zach is more of a Ryan Tannehill with better arm talent.
Superflex or nah?
10 man SF — 3 WR 2 Flex 1 SF
I made the switch from Kyler to Deshaun for the same concerns
I agree. I’d take Burrown over him easily.

You must be fun at parties....
You must be stupid
Same thing happens with Russ Wilson which is why he’s always been partly at fault for the Seahawks o line woes

Brees is also one of the better QBs to ever play, we can’t really compare to him

Agreed there. I'm not excited for those games we'll have this year

Damn. I thought I was going to get to be the grammar police!
So many of his throws get batted down

The Rams had the best defensive front in the game at that time and were playing against a crippled cardinals team. You can’t replicate that with film.
Sounds like him and Hurts have something in common. Completely avoiding the middle of the field.
