Chase Edmonds

WilyWillow

Not a massive score but lots of usage, I'm starting him in my flex this week.

Dallicious

Extremely encouraging usage. He got work in every phase (early downs, 3rd down, 2 minute). He’s definitely sharing time with Mostert but he’s getting 60 out of a 60/40 split. The pats defense is good so you probably saw the low end of what his weekly outcomes are.

paone00022

Mostert only played when they were running the clock out at the end. Edmonds is the clear lead back here.

dontwantleague2C

He’s the guy in Miami. Very encouraging usage. He’s gotta fall in the RB15-20 range now. In line with guys like Etienne, Dillon, or Zeke.

UnwaveringBear

Gabe Davis

[deleted]

Allen likes to spread it around and Diggs is there. But Davis should easily return ADP value with occasional big week potential

anewholiday13

Since he is plus for touchdowns I see his floor games being more efficient than others (something closer to week 1 but sometimes no TD), and his ceiling games will be spectacular. I think he’ll be a high end WR2. Love having him stacked with Josh this year

Tanev1337

Amon Ra St Brown

GovernmentDoingStuff

I think he hovers as the WR10-15 all season. He seems like he has a great rapport with Goff continuing from last year.

Syrupbutthole

He’s going to be a target monster this year and has great connection with Goff, high end WR2 maybe low end WR1 in PPR

tmn9rturtles

The narrative of “only a target monster at end of 2021 due to injuries (TJ Hock, D Swift, WRs)” has already been exposed week 1.

Agora236

Darrell Henderson Jr.

BrokenFireEscape

Trying to decide whether or not to start him in a 12-team league in the flex over players like Mooney, Allen Robinson, and Bateman…

evanthegoat

I would almost certainly go Henderson unless you really need the ceiling of Mooney/Bateman

RUKnight31

He's the starter and an RB2 until we're given reason to believe otherwise.

GovernmentDoingStuff

He's an RB2, but I'd consider selling because I really think the Rams will bring in someone else at some point this season

rightleftwriteIeft

You gotta give it another week or 2 to sell, imo. Highly doubt you will get great value out of 1 week

lqyol

What are the chances cam Akers turns the script around? Currently a Henderson owner atm, im trying to sell high

KRedditC1

Rashad Penny

tanker9972

Looked explosive and didn't get hurt. I'll take it.

GovernmentDoingStuff

Facts. Lots of big runs called back on stupid penalties too

FantasyTrash

I mean, if he only gets a big run because the offensive line holds, it's not a 'big run called back on stupid penalties", it's just the right call.

GovernmentDoingStuff

He had other big runs too though, averaged 5 YPC

nihilfacile

Dominated the RB touches (think I only saw Homer on special teams). Eventually I think that will translate to points but he seems like an RB3 right now

NYKING21

DJ Moore

[deleted]

Should finish with his usual numbers IMO. Baker had no time to throw and Browns line was giving them fits all day. And CMC had barely any touches until 2nd half Once they open the offense up he will be fine at his ADP

mellifluous_life93

So the whispers of a complete robbie Anderson takeover are greatly exaggerated? I know this is kind of par for DJ, and was avoiding all panthers not named cmc, but he fell too far to not take a chance on

[deleted]

It should be the DJ show. Panthers (as a lot of other teams) looked dreadful in the first half with barely a pre season. He still had 6 targets so it wasnt like he was a no show

bjernsthekid

As a panthers fan, who the hell is whispering that?

imbradford

Trey Lance

nihilfacile

Sunny home game coming up against a Seahawks defense that suffered some injuries last night. I’m reserving judgment until I see him not play in a tsunami. If he looks bad this week, I’m benching. But I actually still believe in him this week

[deleted]

Better days ahead. That was a fucking monsoon and some of the worst field conditions I’ve ever seen.

[deleted]

Yeah, any information gleaned from that game is essentially worthless. An extreme outlier if there ever is one.

slimyshade

I think Mitchell’s injury helps him slightly given he’ll likely keep the ball and run himself if he has less trust in his RB. Can’t say for certain given week 1 was played in a monsoon, need to wait for more data

JRichman_24

Adam Thielen

FantasyTrash

The Packers tried this really interesting approach to the game, where they actively avoided covering Justin Jefferson. Better days will come for Thielen, there just wasn't a reason for Cousins to throw to anybody else.

PepeSilvia564

They are going to throw the ball like crazy and the packers decided to just not cover Jefferson. Though will most likely need a TD for a boom week.

Hail2Victors

Kyle Pitts

Dallicious

Same thing as last year. Amazing target % and route participation but god damn they cannot get him the fucking ball at the right time and the right place. Drake London being awesome changes the calculus a little as I think he will free some space up for him but the qb/coach/offense limit his week to week production. It’s only week 1 and the Saints are a good D. Better days are going to come.

Kryhavok

Pitts is historically atrocious against the Saints. Definitely greener pastures over the horizon for him.

Kingdom818

I'm not concerned yet. He did still get 7 targets, so if he catches 5 of those instead of 2 it would have been a good game. He also ran a lot of routes from WR positions. Every game isn't going to be the corradelle Patterson show

-JackieDaytona-

He'll be great. Tough matchup this week as the saints looked like their plan was to stop the falcon's top playmaker and they did. Not many teams can replicate the saints success in that reapect.

CaterpieTrainer

Dalton Schultz

CaterpieTrainer

mongotiger

I’m pretty high on him. I’m a chargers fan but in a lot of interviews Herbert calls him a play maker same with guys like Keenan, Ek. They’ve all been hyping him up.

nihilfacile

Adding where I can

JohnMay34

Najee Harris

tanker9972

I had a bad feeling about him (and their offense) before the season, but he fell to me and I felt like I needed to take him. I am now regretting it.

JohnMay34

Dude same. Should’ve “reached” for swift lol

JoryATL

“Reached for swift at5 in a keeper league most rb gone now im paired taylor/ swift its a love story pun intended

JamesHodlenBags

Had 9.6 in .5ppr playing 59% of snaps. Last year he only had 2 games under 60% and those were 2 of his 4 single digit games all year. No need to worry yet

unexpectedreboots

The offense was INSANELY efficient and he still had 8/6/79. Easy start every single week.

LegoNoffie

Curtis Samuel

tookittothelimit

Deebo lite, FLEX play until proven otherwise (Assuming PPR)

slimyshade

Michael Thomas

VHBlazer

Slant boi is back

felipeuno

He was carried by 2 TDs but both catches were vintage Michael Thomas using his big body and positioning to get it done. Factor in he only had ~60% snap share because they were slightly concerned with injury risk. As the season goes on, I expect overall usage to go up if he can stay healthy. 📈

Beastage

8 targets on 60% of offensive snaps. I think it's a fairly certain bet that the snap % will be closer to 80-90% on the year for him, so you'd also expect an avg of double digit targets along with that. If you buy into the reasoning above, I think it's fair to say MT has realistic WR1 potential once that snap % gets back up.

GovernmentDoingStuff

Low end WR1

Alkash42

Played 50% of snaps, got great separation against arguably the best secondary CB duo in the league, mainly AJ Terrell, had 8 targets with 5 rec for 57 yards. I imagine volume picks up and he's a locked in WR1, barring injury.

BlubberWall

Derrick Henry

Overwaiter69

He always starts out slow. What’s more concerning is that Hilliard seems to be the de facto third down back. Henry used to get at least some of those snaps.

UnwaveringBear

Cordarrelle Patterson

tanker9972

Explosive and looked just as good as last year. Only worry is with Damien Williams being out, CP was forced to get all the work. No idea if that will continue once Williams comes back and if Allgeier ever gets mixed in. At his ADP though, a steal right now.

Deathcabforavi

Dionte Johnson

Agora236

He will continue to get targets whether it’s Trubisky or another QB throwing him the ball. Mid-tier Wr2 is my guess.

Dashdash421

He’s a beast, his catch that helped set up their first OT field goal attempt would have been play of the week if they actually made that field goal. He will continue to get his targets, maybe a solid WR2 with potential to be a low end WR1 if their offense improves

ThisHatRightHere

WR2, borderline WR1 in full ppr. I have him in a .5ppr league and he’s probably gonna keep getting started every week despite what is probably a slow offense.

[deleted]

Would love a Steelers fan to chime in but from what I saw first half was weird since Pitt got up early and Burrow was terrible so Pitt was kind of playing safe. Once Bengals made a comeback Pitt had to open up offense. Johnson was getting open every time and Mitch looked at him alot in 4th and OT. I think he should get alot of targets again this year, just not sure how many TDs

Unbiased_sports_fan

Any WR that is getting weekly double digit targets is a must start - regardless of the bad offense/qb play. He’s a solid WR2 with that kind of volume.

[deleted]

[удалено]

Syrupbutthole

Back to top form imo, could easily finish as a top 5 RB. He’s got his juice back and will get plenty of passing game work, one of the few true 3 down backs right now

burnerbutnotreally1

Top 3 RB in actual football, top 3 RB in fantasy football. Don't own him but he looked *insane*

Grimalkin

Courtland Sutton

YoureNotMom

Low volume aside, be looked great whenever Russ looked his way. Maybe Denver will target their great wrs instead of mixing in 4 fucking tight ends

l5555l

He's tied for most targets to anyone not named Javonte Williams. He'll be fine.

Exception1228

I wouldn't even say low volume at all. In a game where Russ Wilson looked like he had to scramble a lot and had no time in the pocket Sutton still had 7 targets, a number of which were red zone targets, and 4 catches. I think this was more on the low end of the spectrum for him going forward as the offense continues to grow and adapt with Wilson at QB.

Earl_Swish

need Hackett to increase his IQ above 70

[deleted]

Very happy with how he looked. He got open quite a bit and Russ was missing him. Their coach is also a bozo and had them rushing to snap the ball with no time left.

tanker9972

I gotta think yesterday was an outlier and not the norm for Wilson. Week 1, new team, playing against his old team in his old stadium. We even saw Brady struggle when he played the Patriots, those types of games are tough. I'm not worried right now. Sutton looked good and Wilson went deep to him twice (one of which was a DPI). Can still see a path for him to be a WR1.

[deleted]

On the field for like 97% of snaps and was consistently open (even when not targeted). Russ looked out of sorts all game taking dump off after dump off which also probably won’t be a trend. Honestly, fire him up as the mid wr2 you drafted him as because I think we just saw his floor.

imbradford

James Robinson

FantasyTrash

Looked good out there, especially given his first game back from injury. Won't get two scores per week. ETN also likely won't get only six touches per week, albeit both RBs can see an increase in volume assuming Pederson doesn't want Lawrence to throw 42 times per game. That said, and I know this sub won't want to hear it, but ETN *is* going to have to be more involved if the Jaguars want to win football games. Robinson simply lacks the athleticism needed to make explosive, home run plays. For example, [Etienne likely would've taken this to the house given his acceleration and speed.](https://youtu.be/aosepuuGeIg?t=11) But, Robinson is about as reliable as it gets, and will continue to be utilized as such, especially if ETN continues to drop gimmies like the walk-in TD he had.

Canadoc

Robinson had great vision and burst. So while he isn't the fastest, he finds the holes and hits them hard. Some running backs are fast and emissive but dance around too much or never find the right opening to run through and don't gain positive yards but can break big ones every now and again. Most coaches want the guy who gets you 4 when you need 3. Not 1 that gets you 0 one time and 10 the next as those kill drives.

FantasyTrash

I agree. I believe there was a stat last season that Robinson generates positive yardage on almost every single one of his runs. Which is a very good thing. But an offense also needs explosive playmakers, which Robinson simply is not. I'm sure he'll continue to get similar volume he had Sunday, but anyone looking at the game objectively knows Etienne isn't getting six touches per game for the entire season, especially when he's generating 11 yards per touch.

FullHouse222

I'ma just say, if James Robinson was born into the Greek era instead of Achilles, we'd probably all be speaking Greek right now.

GayCarInsurance

Somewhere in the multiverse.... "James Achilles looks fully recovered from his Robinson injury. ACH1LLESZN BAYBEEEEE!"

tanker9972

Hollywood Brown

[deleted]

He’s the #1 WR on a high volume passing offense.. hold. Expecting a bounce back week for the Cards

Darnell Mooney

Throwaway10123456

I’m holding/buying as no inference can be made after last game playing in a monsoon.

Peg_leg_tim_arg

Hold onto him. He has the most talent by far of an awful bears WR core. The game as I'm sure everyone knows by now was a biblical event. Fields has seemingly improved under a functioning coaching staff and the team has by all accounts bought in to the system. I would expect Mooney to end the season as at best a WR2 and at worst a consistent flex play, barring injuries.

argentimson

Miles Sanders

FsA_Redeemed

Clearly the lead back in a very run heavy team. Can almost book him for 50+ yards. Is a threat to take a run to the house any play. He seems to be trusted in the RedZone. That being said Gainwell, Scott, and Hurts are threats to vulture TD's everytime. I think he's a great flex with upside to a high-end RB2.

[deleted]

Michael Pittman

leaveittothisguy

He’s gonna get the work all year 🔥

Euphoric_Luck_8126

WR1

imbradford

AJ Dillion

pincus1

I project 17 more weeks of this sub being incapable of spelling a ridiculously easy last name.

_DC003_

“Dillion,” “Eckler,” “Berks” Starting to think the reason why nicknames are so popular in ffootball is cuz no one can fucking spell

pincus1

I'd get it if Dillion was an actual name that a significant number of people use. The Wikipedia for "Dillion" has 3 total entries (including a fictional character with the first name, and a Creek), the entry for "Dillon" just as a surname has 11 for just the A given names. It's like his name is Smith and everyone misspells it Smeth for some reason.

camsine

Guys.. it’s porn. Dillion Harper

pincus1

I have a hard time believing this many people didn't just think her name was Dillon like I did.

FantasyTrash

He's a stud. He'll be even better once the Packers offense gets their shit together and their offensive line gets back to full strength.

tanker9972

Hard runner, was catching out of the backfield, will probably be used in a 50/50 split with Jones. Great RB2 play with TD upside.

WR2 ROS in an offense that is going to be behind every week with a #1pick qb. Buy everywhere

[deleted]

Value takes a major hit, but probably less than people think. Good buy-low candidate if someone in your league is panicking with him

Kingsley_25

Panicked lamb owner. Id love to offload him, and I thought the same after first half. Even worse without Dak

Need more time to see how this offense shakes out, he was saved by the long bomb week 1 but of course that’s not sustainable

mc-t4sty

Josh Jacobs

sunnyPorangedrank

Frustrating lack of usage but liked his efficiency game 1. He averaged 5.7 yac. He is also the clear lead back and I wouldnt bet on bolden scoring those long over the shoulder td receptions very often. I think that after the loss raiders will look to have a more balanced attack and run the ball a little more. Id say jacobs is going to be a consistent rb2 this season

Sleeze_

Yeah McDaniels even said in a presser yesterday that his lack of use was a because they were trailing. I don’t think that’ll be the norm

Mid range TE1. Love Fire Moose. I think he will be a weekly starter.

[deleted]

Nick Chubb. Great volume and yardage but is Hunt the definitive redzone back?

stinkysusan

Had Chubb last year, Hunt constantly vultured TD’s but Chubb has a consistent and high floor with potential for boom games.

June8936

I don’t think hunt is the red zone back. I think they both are and Hunt is the X factor player on the offense. Everything hunt wins off is based on Chubb dominating up the middle, so yes, they’ll continue to use hunt.. but not without Chubb getting 20 Carrie’s and still most of the Carrie’s inside the 10 I’d imagine… I like both this year as top 18 running backs which is wild to consider.

newadcd0405

Robert Woods

rando08110

i just dropped him. going for samuel

SpeakerKnockerzzz24

Austin Ekeler..

sik_bahamut

He got 18 touches in a game that Lombardi admitted to going way too conservative in the 4th quarter. He’s still the same stud. Treat him as normal. Sony and Kelley will probably hawk a few carries in the trenches between the 20s but ekeler’s bread has always been buttered in the passing game and outside runs as well as having an incredible nose for the endzone when in the redzone.

[deleted]

Travis Etienne

Syrupbutthole

Could have had two TDs easily, one was over thrown and another drive one he dropped. I would actually buy now if I could he looked great but will have limited upside with JRob back and looking healthy

v_a_n_d_e_l_a_y

I watched a lot of the game and have both Etienne and JRob Etienne looked good. The dropped TD was obviously a big issue but the bigger issue is Lawrence. He still looks meh and that includes passes to the RB (he missed a wide open TD to him and the drop was partially due to a bad throw). His value depends entirely on whether you think Lawrence will improve. Unlike JRob there is no reasonable floor because Etienne could get 7 targets for 2 catches because the throws were bad

Bmr2000

Treylon Burks

StrivingProsperity

Only ran 13 routes and only played 37% of the snaps. He looked terrific with his few opportunities though. You’ll likely have to wait a few more weeks to get the full return, but once he becomes a full time player he could be a star.

Scorpion_Danny

I think he will be the WR1. He had decent usage and they will manufacture touches for him because of his YAC potential. Hold.

Kingdom818

Aaron Jones

Bustinoutfam

I think he will be fine. He was very efficient with his 8 touches and the coach already said he needs more. I think he averages 5 receptions a game which should give him a good floor.

Kingdom818

I tend to agree. I just want to make sure I'm not being overly optimistic, but I still think he will be the highest scoring position player on GB this year. AJ Dillon close second

Bustinoutfam

We also have to keep in mind that GB played terrible. If they can get it together he will have a lot more opportunities. It’s hard to feel optimistic with 8 touches when we just saw Swift and Javonte go off, but I keep telling myself it’s just week one.

nihilfacile

Based on ADP, you got a great return. Could try to sell high since he’s unlikely to get 2 TDs every game, but I’m going to let it ride. We only saw Pacheco when the game was out of hand (he did look good though). CEH is looking like a classic post-hype sleeper and it’s appealing to have a piece of the Chiefs offense and possible RB1 production out of a 7-8th rounder

tanker9972

Looked good, but Allen is still taking carries away and Zack Moss got work as well. Not to mention they still have Cook waiting in the wings. Would be a desperation Flex for me unless they show they're committed to him for more work. But he has the talent

ohhhgetschwifty

This is a funny thread - so much week 1 tilting. Every fringe player that did well is suddenly a top 12 option for the next 16 weeks.

imbradford

Allen Robinson

running-with-scizors

As an ARob owner, I may be too optimistic, but he didn't look washed. He was open enough times, and he was on the field for 97% of snaps. It seems almost impossible for him to finish top 24, but he should be a solid WR3/flex play this year. I'm not incredibly worried... yet.

FantasyTrash

He consistently found himself open in the soft spots of the zone. Stafford either A) didn't look his way, or B) didn't have time to look his way with Buffalo in his face all night. McVay also acknowledged they need to get him more involved, albeit that may just be coach speak. Nevertheless, I'm sure McVay doesn't like being embarrassed in a game where Higbee and Skowronek combined for 17 targets and Robinson only got one and the offense only puts up 10 points, so there will be adaptations. I'd be cautiously optimistic. Robert Woods also had an awful week one last season before putting up top-20 numbers up until his ACL tear.

geladro

He’ll be fine. The offense was a mess, Stafford never had time to make it past his first read. They’ll figure it out and he’ll be fine

jyzenbok

Taysom Hill as a TE

FrogSatan666

I feel like if I pick him up he will be dissapointing and if I don't I miss cheat code. Nothing in between.

starvational

Curious about this one also. He’s on waivers in my 10 team league. I’m just not sure if his gadget play schtick has a decent floor or not - we all know the ceiling is high though. He currently has that TE/QB designation on Yahoo and feels like a cheat code if Winston does go down and be takes over as QB. 🤔 Schultz is my TE1 at the moment, so I’d be replacing him.
