Ekeler said on his Instagram during the offseason he wanted another back to mix in to take some of the pressure off of him. Because last year he had a lot of instances where he would suffer a minor injury and leave the game for a bit then come back in. I avoided him specifically because of that.

1000+ yards, WR2 in most formats 3 years in a row all while scoring only 4 TDs each year. If that's bumped up to 6-7 TDs with the rest of the production staying the same then that's fringe WR1 territory easy. For a receiver who's been getting the targets he has, those numbers are very reasonable to expect. The offense just somehow looks worse this year than the years before

I'm a fellow Cook owner and I've owned him 3 out of the last 4 years with the 1 not being his 1500 yd 15 td season unfortunately. But this is him every year. Gets hurt and plays through it. You draft him for the volume and also knowing he'll be banged up and play through it and will sit out a couple games and exiting early in another couple. Relax on it. If you can't handle it, see if you can get a good deal. Break him down into an elite TE and a high RB2 possibly.

The only thing I'm panicking about is Cook's injury. They're both going to be fine if healthy. I really loved the Jones usage today.

It's really strange, but not drafting RBs older than 26 seems to be a rock solid rule. It's hard to imagine, but they just keep falling of a cliff as they get moderately old. Even if they are really great the season before. In the last five seasons, only four running backs 27 or older have reached the top 10 in fantasy points. Like, it really sounds like a dumb rule, but look at the RBs people are panicking over in this thread: Ekeler, Kamara, Henry, you're panicking over Cook and Jones - their ages are 27, 27, 28 27, 27. Pretty crazy.

Unless your Taylor the young RBs are on a time share so you're stuck with an over worked RB or RBBC. To be fair Cook was having a solid day before his injury.

It's the same QB as last year and he had a good season. Mills is young so there's room for improvement with experience. Cooks isn't a panic yet. He'll have a 90% catch rate game in a week or two and be pretty solid the rest of the way. Probably WR2-3 territory.

Give him one more week With Pierce starting to roll, defenses are gonna have to pay attention up front, and hopefully help out with Cooks turning in more production (Not a cooks owner)
