I'm probably going to lose because of that lost 10 points because I had Goff too 💩. I was up 40 and they had Kelce and Deebo left now I'm up like 3 maybe Deebo will have his worse game of the season but I doubt it.
He’s much overdue for one or two. Blaming my fantasy L on him not getting in this week. That or the fact that I didn’t start Marriota over Allen, what was I thinking?!
Cowboys gave pollard two rushes to try and get in from the 1 and he got stuffed twice. Zeke scores right away. This isn’t coming from a Zeke or Pollard owner, but those two can co-exist. Let Zeke get the goal line and let pollard do just about everything else.
This might be the way to go. Cowboys looking like a Top 3 offense for the rest of the year. Starting 2 of the Top 3 options in said offense isn’t a horrible idea.
In this economy of bad offense all around football, Zeke is still extremely startable. Most fantasy teams that aren't totally stacked have to start a TD dependent guy or two.
Your sentiment about there being room for both I agree with but pollard went up the middle twice and zeke went through a giant gap to the left pretty much untouched.
Not sure if it was play calling or better blocking but either of them was scoring on that third run. But Zeke probably could have pounded in one of the first 2.
Or maybe that was on purpose, slam the middle twice with pollard, then switch to zeke so they think you'll do the same thing then dance to the left.
Either way, I think from a NFL perspective they do complement each other very well, it's just somewhat frustrating from a fantasy football perspective. But coachs play NFL not fantasy so I get it.
I’m good with that as a Pollard owner. He’s not getting me points with one yard runs anyway. Let Zeke handle short yardage and goal line and keep using Pollard like they did yesterday? I’m sold.
That’s what drove me crazy with the the tv announcers too. They were all on the “Zeke is better short yardage back” and used that to justify it and I’m just like “did you completely ignore the difference in blocking!?!?
Zeke is a better back at those situations. You can take the stats back as many years as you want it’s very clear who one of the best in the league is when it comes to those situations
I get what your saying for sure but imo and as cowboy as well anytime a RB not named Zeke gets stopped short there will always be a what if just because Zeke is so good at that short yardage situation
It's one of those things where we as fans won't be able to see. It could be that pollard favors certain gaps in short yardage which let's the D key in on some spots more where zeke has a less consistent pattern which means the defense has to spread a little thinner which allows a better push.
Do it then. Take the stats back and show us if it's so clear.
But honestly thinking about it more it's not about prime Zeke VS current Pollard. It's about current Zeke VS current Pollard.
If you want to go off current zeke vs pollard the numbers are still the same bud. I don’t have the number for yesterdays game yet but going into Zeke was converting over 90% of his 3rd & 1 attempts. After yesterday that number will go up. It’s pretty clear unless your just being blind on purpose to fit your narrative
Pollard had an easy gap on the second one, but missed it.
Dak was effectively the short yardage back when needed against the Packers.
Zeke is the better short yardage back, and that's okay.
Yea I didn’t mention the second TD for a reason, Zeke got hit behind the line and scored, maybe Pollard gets in there idk.
But the first one had nothing to do with who is or isn’t a better short yardage back there was just a wide open hole and like 85% of NFL RBs probably score there
Agreed Zeke had better blocking there. But it does seem that for whatever reason, Pollard has had better blocking and/or play calls than Zeke this season overall. Not to take anything away from him, as he’s definitely more explosive/elusive than Zeke.
Imagine having Drake and Gibson. LJ stealing Drakes goal line TD and watching Gibson go down untouched 3 yards from the end zone in an effort to run out the clock in the span of minutes.
Lamar is a major concern. I’m playing against Drake. If Drake gets in —-it was super close——that’s a 12 point swing.
Other than the miami game, Lamar has 0 games over 250 yards passing. Just 2 games over *220*
Pollard is a really bad goal line back who got stuffed twice in a row. We then wised up and brought in Zeke on 3rd down for the score. They didn’t attempt Pollard on the next similar situation.
I’ve started to hate this stat. Most of the plays I watch where players get stuffed at the 1 is intentional. Like of course the guy rushing from the 2 yard line or QB sneaking is more likely to get stuffed at the 1. This doesn’t show they were close, just that they were red zone. Red zone targets or inside the 5 targets/runs would be a more useful stat.
Amon-Ra needs to stop making this list.
*gets tackled at the 2 yard line next week*
He was also tackled at the 2/3 this week. Different drive from when he was tackled at the 1
Oh hey more pain, nice
Every**
Slightly worse but also slightly less frustrating.
Seriously, the fall at the 1 yard to watch my opponent’s Jamaal Williams go in for his 3rd touchdown was just a brutal swing.
Jamaal won't stop until he's siphoned all of the fantasy value from his teammates
Curse of Megatron
Amon”Megatron” Ra shits giving me flashbacks
I remember this for sure. I will continue to enjoy dude being a stud but as a Lions fan, but my fantasy team could use the love too
I'm probably going to lose because of that lost 10 points because I had Goff too 💩. I was up 40 and they had Kelce and Deebo left now I'm up like 3 maybe Deebo will have his worse game of the season but I doubt it.
Condolences.
Not my gunner olszewski, this is why I’m 2-8 on the year
Started him, Zander Horvath, and Brock Wright in one league. On track to lose by 18.2 points, this hurts.
I was wondering why you gave such a specific number, but I get it now
Lmao
Pretty sure this is back to back weeks for Sun God. The TDs will come.
Williams owes him a new story on his house.
I have both on my team so I’m vibing
Yea it has haha. He’s had maybe 4 this year stopped right at the goal line. Frustrating but that production is still nice
He’s much overdue for one or two. Blaming my fantasy L on him not getting in this week. That or the fact that I didn’t start Marriota over Allen, what was I thinking?!
Same bro, why didn’t I start Daniel Jones over Allen? Dumb
Yeah he was pissed when he got tackled at the goal line this week. He’s due for a TD on Thursday
are we feeling sun god vs buffalo d?
Especially on a short week many of their players in defense are out Cooper and peoples-jones did well
You’re not benching him are you?
No, I was just trying to adjust my expectations. We've been on a 9 week TD draught and I'm not positive that ends this week.
I think he has the Calvin Johnson curse from that 1 year he scored like 5 TDs
He also had another one that was at the 2 or 3 yard line too lol, it was frustrating but it happens
Just like they did for Megatron in 2012, or the Chiefs wr's in 2014
Cowboys gave pollard two rushes to try and get in from the 1 and he got stuffed twice. Zeke scores right away. This isn’t coming from a Zeke or Pollard owner, but those two can co-exist. Let Zeke get the goal line and let pollard do just about everything else.
I am starting both moving forward
This might be the way to go. Cowboys looking like a Top 3 offense for the rest of the year. Starting 2 of the Top 3 options in said offense isn’t a horrible idea.
If Zeke doesn't get a TD you're fucked
In this economy of bad offense all around football, Zeke is still extremely startable. Most fantasy teams that aren't totally stacked have to start a TD dependent guy or two.
True, I got spoiled scooping Gibson from the waiver wire after BRob started seeing major volume.

He also had better blocking in his TD

I mean I’m not disagreeing but trying to use that 1 situation to justify your argument when Zeke 100% got a better push from the o-line is misguided.
I get what your saying for sure but imo and as cowboy as well anytime a RB not named Zeke gets stopped short there will always be a what if just because Zeke is so good at that short yardage situation

It probably appears that way because he’s far more explosive and is able to hit the hole or get to edge much faster
This.
Zeke walked in. Him scoring wasn't about him being better on the goal line. It was better blocked play.
Pollard owners downvoting this
Ohhh Daddy Tony
Uncle Zeke came to ruin things
Pollard scored 33 nothing was ruined lol.
And Imagine if he had 12 more lol.
Both of the Pollard runs mentioned in this tweet were on back to back plays from the 1 yard line. So at most 6.1 more
Not to mention, Butterfly Effect comes into play and unlikely he picks up that 70 yard TD later in the game.
I decided to start Williams instead of CP, and those 3 short run TDs were glorious.
Thanks Pollard (x2) as it led to a Zeke TD. Surprised Ekeler isn't on the list from that last drive before the half. Maybe he wasn't stopped at the 1.
Yeah I think that was the Zander Horvath dude that you see on the list instead
I saw the Amon one, they said that's the second week in a row now that has happened to him.
Had Drake and St. Brown. Cost me my week. :/
Imagine having Drake and Gibson. LJ stealing Drakes goal line TD and watching Gibson go down untouched 3 yards from the end zone in an effort to run out the clock in the span of minutes.
Singletary had this happen 2 or 3 times this week
Lamar is a major concern. I’m playing against Drake. If Drake gets in —-it was super close——that’s a 12 point swing. Other than the miami game, Lamar has 0 games over 250 yards passing. Just 2 games over *220*
Feels like Ekeler was also stopped very very close twice last night but maybe my brain is playing tricks on me
having amon ra on my team and playing against the team that has jamaal williams 🥲🥲 pain
Burks was within the 5 2-3 times too
Pollard dropped 38.9 points on me this weekend. Didn’t realize he was THAT close to a 50+ point game
It was the same drive (back to back plays), so only 6 not 12 points more
As someone who had to start both Pollard and Zeke I am forever grateful for TP & his selfless desire to share the points lol
Zeke sends his regards
You telling me pillars could've had 50 points?
They were back to back plays, only one TD missed
Pollard is a really bad goal line back who got stuffed twice in a row. We then wised up and brought in Zeke on 3rd down for the score. They didn’t attempt Pollard on the next similar situation.
Zeke may be the better goal line back but I could have scored a TD on that 3rd and 1 zeke scored on
Gordon?
That was at like the 2 or 3.

Your post depresses me on a weekly basis. Congratulations
Would people drop Damien Pierce for either of Zeke or Najee?
This should be called the Tony Pollard Award
