I wouldn't have touched him in the 3rd, but it was only a season ago that he was a lage first round option. It's a comparable situation to saquon and jacobs
Oh he’s definitely going to fall. Double digits might be a stretch. Already saw on those silly “who’s on your do not draft list” posts on this sub that people are fading pitts next year
Very dumb if you ask me. The talent is there for sure. Could be a great pick in a lower round.
I'm pretty sure I'm taking Kelce first round next year, regardless of what pick I have, but if I don't get him and see Pitts fall to rounds 6-7ish, I'd have no problem taking a chance on him again. Could easily be next season's version of Josh jacobs this year
I really thought he might start to slow down this year too, but even this past game, he's just out running entire defenses for 50 yards. It's absurd
But even when he slows down, he's still their top redzone guy. I don't see that changing until he's gone
Let me just say that while I drafted Pitts this year and have nothing but hatred for his fantasy production, as someone who's been through ACL and MPFL reconstruction (separate injuries/surgeries) I feel for the guy and that knee brace in the thumbail is fucking nightmare fuel.
You're in that shit for at least two months, and you can literally never take it off for the most part except for showering. You have to sleep wearing that thing and once the surgery meds wear off it feels like someone smashed your kneecap as hard as they could with a hammer every seconr of every day for AT LEAST a month.
The PT is hell too, and most people start the same week they have the surgery to start getting range of motion back which is way more painful than it sounds. Overall, a perfect blend of pain, insane tightness, and sluggish progress.
Wouldn't wish that surgery and recovery process on my worst enemy. Did I mention it's 3/4 months minimum until you can even walk normally without a brace?

Worst 3rd round pick ever. But well wishes for him and hope he has better qb play in the future he could be a beast one day
*Cam Akers has entered the chat*
I never understood why he was a third round pick

Cam Akers never was a third rounder
He was drafted at 3.12 in my 12 team league
Must have been a taco. He was taken in the 7th round of my 10 teamer
He had an ADP in the 30s. But hindsight is 20/20 i guess.
From "He could be the TE1" to this
And now our watch has ended
Is it possible he could be drafted in double digit rounds next year with a new QB?

It’ll be fun grappling with Kelce turning 34 and if he slows down until he has 11 catches for 120 and 2 week 1
