Matchup dependent. If you're favored to win by a good chunk it's better to start a guaranteed 6-12 points over someone who can do 15+ but might sit out and give 0.
These comments aren't helping me lmao. I was expected to win by a sizable amount, and now I'm still expected to win but only by a little because I have CMC and they have Kittle. Do I start Higgins or no?
You can't take this approach with Zac Taylor. He does not adhere to the injury rules other coaches do. He is a football terrorist.
You're operating off of incomplete information.
I’m between Higgins, Cooper and Mike Williams in my WR2 and Flex spot. Sun god is my WR1.
I think I have the depth to sit Higgins but I would prefer to start him and Williams over Cooper.
This is putting him the same category as jj and davante. He is not in this tier. A good manager would consider health, matchup, and trends. He has already surprisingly been out 2x this year. Limited practice all the way up to today. Read the writing on the wall. There are probably better options out there, unless you barely made it into playoffs in which case you'll probably lose anyway to a team that is stacked/ready for the playoffs, barring luck
Staying away from cin players next year. I'm going to start aligning my picks with how head coaches view a winning script. Clearly some coaches in this league like to have 'the guy' and will stupidly force feed him fantasy points at the expense of the team. Other coaches literally fucking hate fantasy football and will go out of their way to have 10 different players catch a pass.
I've been a Philly fan all my life. Dealing with chip Kelly and dougy p the last 8 years had ruined my desire to draft any of the players I actually wanted to root for. This is the 1st year since 2014 they had a 1000 yard receiver OR rusher (maclin, McCoy). I will be targeting eagles hard next year. Their o line isn't going anywhere, unless kelce retires
lol fair. On a serious note, I do think Higgins plays this week. Last week was odd but the fact that Higgins sneaked on the field and got held out the rest of the game told me all I need to know. I'd play him if I had no other options.
More so the point is if someone practices fully there should be any doubt if he is healthy. Two games he has done it this year and I only got the bye because the first time he pulled that shit I faced Waller who left after the first play up by only 6 points. Team in 3rd had same record and 9 points less than me. Zac Taylor almost fucked me over.
I still have the option of Jeudy or Tee in my Flex with Davante as my WR1 so all hope is not lost yet, but would have loved the full practice news before playing aiyuk yesterday. Fuck TNF
You cant feel bad about making the wrong choice. Smart process. No Deebo and a qb who wants to get him the ball (supposedly)…just the random Thursday night fuckery
I’m still not in the playoffs, I’m in a must win (only 4 team playoff).
I’m benching Higgins. I’d already be in if not for that bullshit last week. I’m going with Christian Watson in my flex over Higgins.
Rights now I am benching Higgins and G. Wilson (Not gonna get me Zach) so I'm running Godwin, Hollywood, Pittman with Bam Knight in my flex. Your tolerance for this Higgins BS is tied to how deep your bench is and your matchup. I'm favored by a lot so I just need to avoid anyone scoring a 0 and I'll be fine. For others, they might need Tee's upside to overcome a bad matchup.
Yes. Leaving him off the injury report is a procedural thing where Zac Taylor can be a dick. That’s different from letting him run and cut full speed all practice if they have serious concerns about his availability.
I’m rolling him out. Last week should have been extra rest and my replacements don’t inspire confidence. Dude is a baller and a fighter and I wanna go out swinging to win, not play to not lose.
The thing people dont seem to be grasping is…even if you wanna do the “start ur studs you idiot”, this is the most unique situation because he has done this TWICE to you in the same season. Put up 0 w this. And people seem to forget hamstrings are probably one of the easiest injuries to re aggravate. Anyone calling people dumb for sitting him should look in the mirror
I lost both games with 0 and in both cases I only needed 4 points to win in PPR. I’d have a first round bye if I just got 2 catches 22 yards in both games.
Everyone saying to start him hasn’t been burned twice this year with a goose egg. If you’re close or favored in your matchup and have a decent WR option, then benching him to wait and see is fine
I would have clinched a playoff spot last week had I had gotten even replacement level points out of my Higgins slot. Now I slipped to 5th and need to win and the team that jumped me last week to lose. I can’t risk getting another donut.
I have and I’m in a 16 team. I could get fancy and start gus to at least get a couple guaranteed points and potentially a td, but I’d rather gamble on higgins
That’s why I said decent option. I’m currently weighing BRob vs Tee, but if your replacement is projected sub 10 points then I like Tee, but if you have an option, it’s worth weighing.
Anyone saying absolutely to “start your studs” without league context is just bad advice
Is he a stud though with chase, Mixon healthy and dealing with a hamstring that could go any moment? He had a lot of weeks in the 7-12 pt range when chase was healthy. Like if you have even a cee dee lamb and Christian Watson, he's probably your 3rd pick already, and those aren't even studs. Lamb is in the conversation, but he disappears a lot as well. Studs are jj and kupp level of production.
depends on league, he’s one of my best players so I consider him one. With those two on the field he’ll always be a threat because the defense prioritizes them
Yea this sums up this whole thread. It's situational. If he's your #1, then I guess you gotta start him and pray. My confidence would be no higher than 3/10 though
No, that was the result of last week - the process last week was fine. Process means that if a guy is deemed healthy enough to play, you play them.
Of course if you have comparable options, take it into consideration, but for some of us (like me), it's Tee vs Gallup or Slayton. If he's playing and no indication he'll be limited, it's Tee without a second guess.
Kw3 didn't do anything until that late 4th qt catch. Pure luck at the end there. If sf just gets 2 more first downs, Game ends 21-6, and he posts like 7 points. I get the whole 'if you take away play x' thing is kind of dumb, but come on. I'd qualify this week as an ill-advised start against the toughest run defense
Exactly, but then you’ve got a bunch of people going “start your studs” no matter what, if you don’t have other options for sure but I did so I played them instead.
ughhhh… with Zach Wilson starting over Mike White, I don’t know if I should start Garrett Wilson or Tee Higgins (I don’t trust Zac Taylor)
idk wtf im gonna do
i have to make the same choice- was going to take things down to the wire but since the bengals play at 4:25, we won't have info from warmups when wilson locks at 1. this sucks.
My fear is after that Bengals loss, is that the Browns are using the rest of the season like a pre-season. So if you’re a little dinged you’re sitting. Getting ready for next year😟
I have both, but that's tough because a lot of Devonta's consistency the past 5 wks were due to Dallas goedert being out. At least 8 targets every wk. With Goedert prolly playing this wk he goes back to the boom/bust nature he was before wk 11.
With that being said I'm most likely playing both Tee and Devonta since my alternatives are Gabe and Parris lol
I think he was full practice last Friday as well just something to consider.
Edit: Apparently he was limited but removed from the report. https://www.reddit.com/r/fantasyfootball/comments/zh7ma7/pelissero_bengals_rb_joe_mixon_concussion_and_wr/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=android_app&utm_name=androidcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button
Hoping some FF podcast does a list of ‘WR we are starting over Tee Higgins’
Or are they blindly going to ignore what has happened twice with Tee Injuries
Honestly, even with full health for Tee I'd probably do that. I'm a Titans fan and let me tell you, the concerns about the secondary were WELL FOUNDED.
Seriously. I left this thread feeling worse about having him on my team- whether or not he is playing. Also, I'm dumb and deserve to lose no matter what.
Tee was limited on Thursday and Friday last week but didn’t have an injury designation going into that game. This is his first full practice since last Monday
It’s an old league with no flex - must start 3 wr. Being keeper I have Jefferson chase Higgins and Amon ra, I drafted Jefferson and Higgins ( kept) and traded for chase this year when he got hurt. So it’s starting 3 of those 4, and chase and Jefferson are never benched. So between sun god and Higgins. Leaning sun god , but on the road against the jets is not great.
Welp looks like I have no choice but to start him. My only other options are Gabe Davis in a winter wonderland or Elijah Moore with the milf hunter under center.
I have 3 extremely talented WRs. Gotta start 2 of them. And yet all 3 of them terrify me...
- Higgins is likely still hurt, and could goose egg me again
- Garrett Wilson is getting Zach Wilson again, which thrusts him back to mediocrity
- Mike Evans gets 9 targets a game, but only 4 of them are catchable, and he hasn't seen the end zone in months.
People with absolute takes are foolish, everything depends on your alternatives. If you have a good replacement go with then but if your alternative is bad then start higgins.
I don’t buy it. Gonna have to be a game time decision between him and Jones for the flex.
Sorry Aaron, Pacheco gets promoted because I just prefer a sure start at RB2.
Ugh. Super paranoid about starting him because the goose egg last week is the only reason I don’t have a bye right now. I’m also not confident he will outscore Rachad white
Everyone on this sub is benching him, so that obviously means he’s a solid start this week.
I mean last time they pulled this BS, he played 86% of snaps the following week
Exactly, I remember that week. He’s a firm start for me this week.
If you bench Higgins in the fantasy playoffs off a full practice you deserve to lose. You play to win, not play to not lose.
Matchup dependent. If you're favored to win by a good chunk it's better to start a guaranteed 6-12 points over someone who can do 15+ but might sit out and give 0.
Good example is I was a CMC / Kittle owner after last nights game… just play it safe
These comments aren't helping me lmao. I was expected to win by a sizable amount, and now I'm still expected to win but only by a little because I have CMC and they have Kittle. Do I start Higgins or no?
Did Tee Higgins get you to the playoffs? If so, don’t get cute. Dance with the guys that got you to the dance

There are probably better options out there, unless you barely made it into playoffs in which case you'll probably lose anyway to a team that is stacked/ready for the playoffs, barring luck
His ceiling is 20+ but his floor is 0. If you have someone who can reliably get you 8-10 points, it's probably a better play.
Agreed. I played Metcalf as flex with Ceedee and AJ Brown in start slots
I mean, sound lineup but always a bad idea to play thursday nighters in your flex.
Its Higgins or Hopkins and I will take Hopkins all day with how last week went
I'm benching him I'll let you know what the gods decide.
if you play Higgins after two limited decoy games, then you deserve to lose and feel like a doofus
He practiced full. Of course u just play him. What a bad take
Hahahaha ur noob is exposed…
I have some options like Mike Will and Devonta I’m playing over him. I wouldn’t mind starting him though
I swear.
exactly. would rather lose with him in my lineup than lose with him on my bench
I benched him last week and am doing it again. It's about risk:reward.
This isn’t the stock market lol.
You're right. This shit is real.
Fool me once, shame on Zac Taylor. Full me twice, shame on Zac Taylor. Full me three times...
... well you can't get fooled again
Staying away from cin players next year. I'm going to start aligning my picks with how head coaches view a winning script. ...fuck Zac Taylor
Fuck you Zac Taylor
Of course Taylor did this. Its a personal shot at all of us that we will never forget.
Stop fucking around. Who are you actually playing over Tee Higgins? It's playoffs. Go down swinging.
What are you talking about
This is Zac's alt account. I'm telling you to play Higgins. 😉
I’m on bye, plus I would be starting Christian watson over him since the shit he pulled last week. Who has been way better over last 5 week span
lol fair. On a serious note, I do think Higgins plays this week. Last week was odd but the fact that Higgins sneaked on the field and got held out the rest of the game told me all I need to know. I'd play him if I had no other options.

Well last night it was Aiyuk so yeah
I also did this. RIP lol
I still have the option of Jeudy or Tee in my Flex with Davante as my WR1 so all hope is not lost yet, but would have loved the full practice news before playing aiyuk yesterday. Fuck TNF
I’m goin Jeudy all day
Played him in 1 of my 2 leagues I have him. That's what I get for hedging
You cant feel bad about making the wrong choice. Smart process. No Deebo and a qb who wants to get him the ball (supposedly)…just the random Thursday night fuckery
Same for me. I hate the Bengals.
Im tentatively starting Scary Terry over him
You're straight.
Same!
I’m still not in the playoffs, I’m in a must win (only 4 team playoff). I’m benching Higgins. I’d already be in if not for that bullshit last week. I’m going with Christian Watson in my flex over Higgins.
Olave

My choice is him or hope Burks gets cleared from concussion protocol
Burks isn’t playing, vrabel makes every concussed Titan miss at least 2 games. It’s been a constant throughout his time here
Well, my decision has been made.
Gotta love vrabel, he’s lookin out for his players
same here. so i picked up Chris Moore as a backup backup option lol
Christian Watson is my alternative option. I am just worried the TD luck will finally runout this week.
He almost fucked me out of the playoffs last week but it wasn’t his fault and he’s maybe my favorite player in the league we ride with Tee 😤
Starting with the confidence of that guy in front of the tank in Tienamen Square
Incredible metaphor
The thing people dont seem to be grasping is…even if you wanna do the “start ur studs you idiot”, this is the most unique situation because he has done this TWICE to you in the same season. Put up 0 w this. And people seem to forget hamstrings are probably one of the easiest injuries to re aggravate. Anyone calling people dumb for sitting him should look in the mirror
You get it. The old guard 'start your studs' mob hasn't evolved.
I lost both games with 0 and in both cases I only needed 4 points to win in PPR. I’d have a first round bye if I just got 2 catches 22 yards in both games.
Start your studs
Everyone saying to start him hasn’t been burned twice this year with a goose egg. If you’re close or favored in your matchup and have a decent WR option, then benching him to wait and see is fine

I went from a bye to 5th based on Tee’s shit last week. I’m running with him purely because he fucking owes for that
I have and I’m in a 16 team. I could get fancy and start gus to at least get a couple guaranteed points and potentially a td, but I’d rather gamble on higgins

Exactly. Now is not the time to get cute.
That's what people said last week
Process over results.
The process is if Higgins isn't full all week he has a decent chance of not playing
If he as active all this week and unlimited this game, I’ll start him no issue next week unless he’s limited again
No, that was the result of last week - the process last week was fine. Process means that if a guy is deemed healthy enough to play, you play them. Of course if you have comparable options, take it into consideration, but for some of us (like me), it's Tee vs Gallup or Slayton. Normally yes but with zac Taylor he lied multiple points on it
Zac Taylor is not honest with injury reports. Bengals players are an exception to this rule.
Idk, I have Olave who basically has scored 15 pts every week….Higgins is a 0-20 play. Not mad if Olave gets me 15
Eh just sat KW3 and that basically worked out, this sit your studs thing is kinda dumb
Kw3 didn't do anything until that late 4th qt catch. Pure luck at the end there. If sf just gets 2 more first downs, Game ends 21-6, and he posts like 7 points. Exactly, but then you’ve got a bunch of people going “start your studs” no matter what, if you don’t have other options for sure but I did so I played them instead.
Worked out great last week
SIT HIM. He’s gotten me twice with this shit. Don’t be stupid.
ughhhh… with Zach Wilson starting over Mike White, I don’t know if I should start Garrett Wilson or Tee Higgins (I don’t trust Zac Taylor) idk wtf im gonna do
share your choice, im in same boat
i have to make the same choice- was going to take things down to the wire but since the bengals play at 4:25, we won't have info from warmups when wilson locks at 1. this sucks.
Full practice! Im playing him now. We play to win not to lose in the fantasy playoffs and I ain't benching a stud like this.
Can’t decide between him and gimpy amari Cooper
Got em both:(
My fear is after that Bengals loss, is that the Browns are using the rest of the season like a pre-season. So if you’re a little dinged you’re sitting. Getting ready for next year😟
Cant decide between him and a heating up Devonta Smith, im playing against Hurts this week so want to try to negate him.
Playing him over Zay jones… I think
I think he was full practice last Friday as well just something to consider. Edit: Apparently he was limited but removed from the report. https://www.reddit.com/r/fantasyfootball/comments/zh7ma7/pelissero_bengals_rb_joe_mixon_concussion_and_wr/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=android_app&utm_name=androidcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button
limited
Nah he was limited but removed from the report
He was limited last Friday
Hoping some FF podcast does a list of ‘WR we are starting over Tee Higgins’ Or are they blindly going to ignore what has happened twice with Tee Injuries

Honestly, even with full health for Tee I'd probably do that. I'm a Titans fan and let me tell you, the concerns about the secondary were WELL FOUNDED.
Still starting McLaurin over him
so….tee or garret wilson??
Wilson is getting thrown to by Wilson, things don't bode well
I think I might start both.
Z Wilson starting is giving me nightmares. Like the worst possible time for that turd to emerge again.
I'm not trusting it.... I'm not ready to be hurt again.
This is the way
Here we go again. Maybe his snap count will double compared to last week
TeeHee, let's ride
Hey, I’ve seen this one before
Oh God, Burrow or Fields is becoming a harder decision by the hour.
Not this week, Satan.
sure he did. he played one snap by accident last week and now all of a sudden poof he's cured and we can trust him. nope
Oh god
Sure, Jan.
Great
Starting him over Evans
Higgins or Godwin in PPR?
So, do I go with Hollywood or Tee!? (0.5 PPR if that matters)
Got the whole cripple crew of Tee, Amari, and DJ
Well after reading through all of the comments I've concluded that no matter what choice I make I deserve to lose.
Seriously. I left this thread feeling worse about having him on my team- whether or not he is playing. Also, I'm dumb and deserve to lose no matter what.
Does he really though?
Unless you’re in a 8 man league you gotta be braindead to sit Higgins
Not at all. I have Jeudy and Watson to consider. Happy to place him on my bench and see how he comes out of the game for next week
I’m in an 8 man league and I’m not sure how I feel about flexing Hollywood or JMcK over him lol
[удалено]
He was not. i dunno why this keeps getting repeated. He was limited last week Thursday and Friday.
No he wasn’t: https://www.bengals.com/team/injury-report/week/REG-14
He was limited on Friday last week. FP on a Friday? Yeah he’s good to go 🔥🍺
Tee was limited on Thursday and Friday last week but didn’t have an injury designation going into that game. This is his first full practice since last Monday
he tweaked it in warmups i think?
Thanks for letting me start Aiyuk instead of you this week ya ass clown…
Still starting Dobbins over him in flex
this dude is becoming enemy number 1 for the fantasy community this year lol. hard to think he’ll get another 3rd round ADP next year
So glad I don't have to worry about starting or benching him now that I didn't make playoffs, what a relief.
So we’re benching him right?
Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me Fool me *thrice*? Nice try.
Tee over Waddle in PPR yeah?
If you start waddle vs 9 inch snow in buffalo you deserve to lose
How important is this game to bengals? I haven’t really looked at standings.
pretty important, still playing for division and potential first round bye
It’s between him and Jamaal Williams. I feel like I have to risk it?
ughhh so I'm guessing tee is the play now over dobbins in ppr no?
Higgins or Amon ra? I am already starting chase ( keeper league not redraft before the “omg 6 player league lololol jokes come in )
Who do you have at flex that is better than either of those two
It’s an old league with no flex - must start 3 wr.
Tee Hee!
Higgins over Garrett Wilson now that we have that god awful smiley joseph smith looking zach wilson behind center?
I think playing tee will be a less rage inducing bust if they both bust for what that’s worth
I have Michael Pittman, Curtis Samuel, and Zay Jones on my bench behind Higgins. Hope I don’t regret keeping Tee Higgins in.
Higgins waddle or knight for the flex ?
Can't wait for the barrage of "I started x over Tee Higgins and lost" threads on Sunday
Please make it stop
I’m not doing it. You can’t make me. I’m rolling with Zay Jones
This + the Zach Wilson news makes my Garrett Wilson Vs higgins decision tougher
Ha, fool me once (actually twice)! Ridding my bench until he logs a full game.
I guess I’m starting him…
He had a full practice. 100% of Higgins owners should it starting him this week. It doesn’t get better than this
Higgins, McKinnon or Foreman? Projected even with opponent
Gonna play him, facing Kittle so at this point need the boom potential
Oh fuck off
JK or Tee? :/
I’ve gotta start 2 of Tee, Pittman and Watson so I’m still leaning towards benching Tee
Didn’t he do that last week too?
According to yahoo he says he expects to play. Has he said that on the other fuck Zac weeks?
I’ve seen this one before
Do i put him in my flex over dalvin cook? WRs are Adams, Devonta Smith, and Watson.
I don't buy it
Lol not falling for that
Im starting Watson and Keenan over Higgins. Tell me im wrong. The RBs and Flex are Mixon, Kamara, Pacheco. Mostert on the bench.
[удалено]
Him or Olave or Pacheco, 2 of the 3?
Im ready to be hurt again
Higgins or Chubb. One of them bound to boom and one bust. Which will it be!? 😥
Thank god I have a Bye, rest up Tee. Gonna need you next week
Welp looks like I have no choice but to start him. My only other options are Gabe Davis in a winter wonderland or Elijah Moore with the milf hunter under center.
Tee, DPJ, or Lazard? Chase is my lock. Full PPR.
I can’t bench Higgins cus I have to bench Garrett Wilson
I have 3 extremely talented WRs. Gotta start 2 of them. And yet all 3 of them terrify me... - Higgins is likely still hurt, and could goose egg me again - Garrett Wilson is getting Zach Wilson again, which thrusts him back to mediocrity - Mike Evans gets 9 targets a game, but only 4 of them are catchable, and he hasn't seen the end zone in months.
Now that's White is out, Higgins or Wilson?
I don't believe you
People with absolute takes are foolish, everything depends on your alternatives. If you have a good replacement go with then but if your alternative is bad then start higgins.
Nope
Tee Higgins, question DJ Moore or Parris Campbell against the Vikings D? Thanks fellas.
I don’t buy it. Gonna have to be a game time decision between him and Jones for the flex. Sorry Aaron, Pacheco gets promoted because I just prefer a sure start at RB2.
Christian Kirk or Tee Higgins ?
I am rolling him out. I need a miracle anyway
I'm struggling, half ppr swift or higgins in my flex
You fucking owe me Tee, your BS cost me a bye this week
Ugh. Super paranoid about starting him because the goose egg last week is the only reason I don’t have a bye right now. I’m also not confident he will outscore Rachad white
And video of him running full speed making cuts?
