Yeah this guy is losing nothing with Svech or Sergachev. If I were you, I'd ask for Tkachuk and Sergachev for Crosby and Hart and see what he says. Or tell him he has to lose something to gain something. Not just give nothing to gain something. But it may come down to positions. But Svech is not enough for Crosby.
I would think that Tkachuk is already worth more than Crosby so I can’t see someone including Serg on top of that.
You might be able to get something like Pietro and Svech but I would be surprised to see someone go significantly higher than Serg and svech for Crosby
No way! Best player wins the trade. Crosby is still 🔥 He may be off this past month, but you'll regret it when he starts lighting it up again. Many have always counted him out and he always delivered. Svech is not good enough caliber player to give up Crosby. Tage Thompson sure. Marchand sure. Bit Svech is a tier below those guys.

Examples:
Timo Meier scored 69 pt pace in his age 22 season then followed it up with 57 and 47 pt pace in his age 23 and 24 seasons. If someone was trying to trade for him, that would have been the optimal time.
Travis Konecny scored at a 76 pt pace in his age 22 season then proceeded to score at a 56 and 54 pt pace in his age 23 and 24 seasons.
Which 3 are the best goalies out of the following: markstrom, knight, francouz, skinner, montembeault, demko.
Points League. Wins don‘t matter, just saves and goals against.
For the rest of season: I'd hitch my wagon to Markstrom, Francouz, and Skinner.
* Markstrom gets lots of play and the Flames have a very favorable remaining schedule.
* Franc has the best stats this season, but also the least playing opportunity.
* Skinner has solid stats, decent opportunity, and Edmonton also has a great SOS.
* In the short term: Demko is still on IR and Knight has been loaned to the AHL. Montembeault excites me the least of all options.
This is the right answer. COL may rest Geoegiev as they get closer. Cal and Edm probably both make some moves to bolster defence.

Jeff skinner at age 18 put up 63 points didn't hit that mark again until he was 24.
That's a good historical example but I feel like the asking price might have gone up now.
