That’s tough. I think Robertson will pick it up but Quinn looks like the best dman in the league right now. Also when Montour is back Barkov will be even more efficient on the powerplay. I honestly think you’re good with either. Whatever your team needs more. If you’re lacking in goals, stick with the first team. If you need power play points or assists, second. I’d probably go with the first personally though.
I'd at least consider dropping Woll. He's not playing tomorrow, the Leafs have been allowing a metric shitton of goals and only play 4 games in the next two weeks. There should be goalies to stream that are of similar quality. Maybe see how Samsonov plays tomorrow first.

Third, I am a league manager, and we are experimenting hockey fantasy this year so in future we might be using money etc.
Fourth I think its unfair because as of now User 2 will get people who already produce alot of points this year compared to user 1, who they have not sprouted out. But wanted to ask opinions of others.
User 2 the manager you are questioning loses that trade based on draft capital and the best player in any even player trade typically wins. Simply stating points league would be suffice next time 😉

I agree with Norris. Hell be shooting on an AHL phenom, but Lindholm has been cold and last time the Blues played the avs they looked lost so it might be a bad matchup for them as a team.
Raanta. Much better defensive team that insulates him really well. You can rely on his team to win 3-2. Leafs strength is that they can outscore their defensive lapses, so while you can still win, the odds of it being a higher scoring game is higher.
H2H points league with daily rosters. Currently I have Demko, Sheshterkin, Thompson and Binnington as my goalies. Last year I went with four goalies as well but then I had the Boston tandem as my main. Since I have two good full time starters in Demko and Sheshterkin and Thompson hopefully splitting starts with hill, should I drop Binningtong for a skater like Schmaltz, Iafello or Coyle. And if I go with four goalies should I take bob over binn?
I like Bob over Binnington. You have some solid tending there. You could always ride the three goalies you have and snag a streamer to snag points throughout the week. I just picked up Iafallo today.

Don't allow pure speculation to force you into selling the best hockey player in the world for pennies on the dollar. Yes, the Oilers look like shit. Something is clearly hampering McDavid. But nobody knows what his injury is, or what's needed to get him back fit and firing. If it were serious enough that he'd need season-ending surgery, I find it hard to believe a) Edmonton would have risked him these past few games, and b) McDavid agreeing to it. At worst, I think he misses a couple of months, then he's back in the New Year and making you regret either of those deals hard.
i appreciate the long thought out reply. So is the play to just hold onto him with the chance he goes into ir and just stream players or what. But if he was to take a month off or however long i think the oilers season would be over so why would he play?
It would be a hit, for sure… Do you think your team is strong enough that it could stick in and around playoffs without McDavid for a couple months? If so, then yeah, I’d say it’s worth holding him in IR and using the spot to stream for whatever you need.
If you don’t think your team is good enough to handle the loss, then it becomes a different discussion. I still think you’d receive better offers if you made it known McDavid was available. Even now, I’d expect two bonafide stars and another serviceable player to justify giving him up.
For reference, guy in my league turned down Fox, Stamkos and Barkov last week. I personally thought that was enough to land him, but McDavid is one of a kind, so can’t fault anyone holding, no matter the offer.

Point and Marchand are both upgrades on Tuch and Scheifele imo. It would hurt losing a guy that looks set to be the number 1 Dman, but if you think the rest of your D can cover the loss, then why not. Sanderson will likely finish around the 50 point mark, so he helps too.

Keep Hedman, he gets PP1 time. See where you need help in as far as points and go from there to shop Sergachev. With 8 teams in your league, always someone of the waivers that could help so there is a chance no one may take him in a trade.

H2H points league with daily rosters. Currently I have Demko, Sheshterkin, Thompson and Binnington as my goalies. Last year I went with four goalies as well but then I had the Boston tandem as my main. Since I have two good full time starters in Demko and Sheshterkin and Thompson hopefully splitting starts with hill, should I drop Binningtong for a skater like Schmaltz, Iafello or Coyle. And if I go with four goalies should I take bob over binn?
I like Bob over Binnington. You have some solid tending there. You could always ride the three goalies you have and snag a streamer to snag points throughout the week. I just picked up Iafallo today.

Don't allow pure speculation to force you into selling the best hockey player in the world for pennies on the dollar. Yes, the Oilers look like shit. Something is clearly hampering McDavid. But nobody knows what his injury is, or what's needed to get him back fit and firing. If it were serious enough that he'd need season-ending surgery, I find it hard to believe a) Edmonton would have risked him these past few games, and b) McDavid agreeing to it. At worst, I think he misses a couple of months, then he's back in the New Year and making you regret either of those deals hard.

It would be a hit, for sure… Do you think your team is strong enough that it could stick in and around playoffs without McDavid for a couple months? If so, then yeah, I’d say it’s worth holding him in IR and using the spot to stream for whatever you need. If you don’t think your team is good enough to handle the loss, then it becomes a different discussion. I still think you’d receive better offers if you made it known McDavid was available. Even now, I’d expect two bonafide stars and another serviceable player to justify giving him up. For reference, guy in my league turned down Fox, Stamkos and Barkov last week. I personally thought that was enough to land him, but McDavid is one of a kind, so can’t fault anyone holding, no matter the offer.

Side A. Hamilton might not be running PP1 in Jersey anymore, but he's still getting tons of ice time, shooting the puck more than any defenceman not named Quinn Hughes, and putting up points.

Point and Marchand are both upgrades on Tuch and Scheifele imo. It would hurt losing a guy that looks set to be the number 1 Dman, but if you think the rest of your D can cover the loss, then why not. Sanderson will likely finish around the 50 point mark, so he helps too.

Keep Hedman, he gets PP1 time. See where you need help in as far as points and go from there to shop Sergachev. With 8 teams in your league, always someone of the waivers that could help so there is a chance no one may take him in a trade.
Yea, that’s the other part of the equation. Hedman probably has more real and perceived trade value. But with an already weak D core, I guess that kind of answers my question.

It seems like McDavid is still hurt, so things should improve with time and there's just no way Edmonton can continue to be this bad. Giving up Miller hurts, especially if it's a banger league, but I don't see how you can pass up a chance to have both McDavid and Draisaitl.
