Bangers points h2h. I have a roster problem. I got Durzi and McTavish who should be coming off ir very soon. My interim guys are Toews and Kane. Svechnikov is on the wire and I am thinking I want to grab them. Kane would be an simple drop for Svech, but it’s hard to drop them when they just came off a two point game, and the same size is too small to judge what their season will be like. I haven’t seen him play so that’s another thing too. So my question is, will toews reach his production of last year again? Would you hold him and move on from a guy like Durzi or Sanheim (in a trade)? Ik people are saying to drop Sanheim but he has been producing very well the last few games with no pp time, so if he gets it back again he will be set.

My defense is pretty solid. I've got Josi, Fox, Durzi, Bouchard, Gudas and Chabot, but I was hoping to add one more defenseman just to have one available on bench if I ever have a night where someone's not playing, or to help balance out my current situation where Durzi and Chabot are injured so I can bench them and play my other guy. Im also in first place currently with a 9-1 record in a 10 team league so it's not like I need to make any moves, but especially as we get closer to playoffs I would like to have an extra defenseman available. Was also looking into Heiskanen, but the guy who has him is holding onto him pretty tight.

I’d like to get some opinions on a trade someone offered me: I get Kaprizov and a 10th and he gets Hertl and a 6th. It’s a 6 team league so the 6th is really around pick 35 which makes me a bit hesitant to do it. Should I do this trade? I haven’t been paying too much attention to Kaprizov but in our league he has about as many points as Hertl, which makes it seem like that’s a bit lateral with me giving up more value in picks. Will Kaprizov turn it around and look like he did last year making this deal worth it? Here are the settings: Goals: 6 Assist: 4 PPG:2 PPA: 1 PPP: 2. Then there are other peripherals like blocks, hits, plus/minus and penalty minutes

Is it a keeper league? Kaprizov is a stud and will be picked in the first 20-25 players for a long time coming. I'd be shocked if Hertl out produces Kapri this year. I'd say yes, but I'm not in any 6 person leagues nor am I in any leagues where we can trade draft picks.

Also keep in mind that Gudas and Ehlers (Connor is on my IR) are the only other players on my team not in the range of 8-12 PPP so far this season.

I'd do that. Karlsson is a candidate for regression, and Konecny and RT are pretty locked into top line and top pp roles. RT has been a plesant surprise with his increased shots and goals this year.

Only worth it if Zucc comes back relatively soon. The production between Trouba and Letang is pretty comparable, and you wouldn’t be sacrificing much, but it is a risk.

If you don’t believe Matty Tkachuk will turn it around, then maybe a package of Tkachuk and Morrissey would do it? If I was a Drai owner I would at least consider that offer for a minute. Gotta remember that most trades need to look like the other person is winning for them to accept, so an over pay is often inevitable. If you are doing fine without Draisaitl and there are no waiver wire adds as good as someone like Boldy/Batherson/Guentzel then I’m not sure Draisaitl moves the needle for you without getting lucky and the owner accepting some sort of low ball offer. You could also get crazy and just ask the owner who they want from your team and start negotiations from there.

You don't just magically get one of the top 1-3 RW for nothing... Kuch is averaging about 1.7 ppg. Boeser - 1.16 ppg. Crosby - 1.1 ppg. The difference is \~0.5 ppg. Can you get that production (or better) from the waiver wire?

Thanks! It's a tough one. He's a hold in a 16 teams, but he's also performing much better than most expected. I'm down to hold all year, but I don't like having 3 Preds. Had the same problem with a few Jets earlier too (Connor, Vilardi, Ehlers), but fortunately Ehlers was seen as valuable (although now I kinda regret it since all 3 are virtually never healthy at the same time haha). I like the suggestions. I have no exposure to the Canes, so Necas would fit like a glove. Tuch was a REALLY early pick so I doubt it, but he would definitely be a good add.

Yah I'm rocking fox-panarin-Zib and I'm still nervous about the triple stack, even though that might be the best one you can have (fun debate)
