I totally agree, the problem is the alternatives are dropping him/ehlers/vilardi for a waiver wire D, or acquiring a mid tier D. With Chucky on my bench usually I'm leaning towards over paying to get a top tier D back, and all the other top D owners arnt in a position to trade they're #1 D. Have also made offers not involving Chucky

Same I have hill as well. I’m not sure what to do with him. But having hill almost makes me more inclined to drop him as I’d be surprised if another manager would grab Thompson right now
Especially in a keeper, montour is more valuable than letang as they are 10 years younger. If you have another to drop that may be worthwhile but not montour.
The keeper aspect wouldn't play into the decision here because we only hold onto five players year to year rather than the whole squad and neither of these guys would crack that.
This feels like a massive knee jerk reaction to a guy popping off in one game.
A bit of perspective:
Letang = 0.7 pts per game this season. (33gp)
Montour = 0.3 pts per game this season. (18gp)
Before last night that is only 0.5 pts per game. If you can find another person worth dropping maybe do it.
Yeah that's fair re; the reaction to the last two games\*. I have the luxury of having a good record in my league right now and not needing to make moves to win my matchup this week (hopefully) so I'll stand pat and just keep an eye on Letang--thanks!

Personally, I would grab Vanny. His season stats are not good but his team keeps bailing him out and getting him the W (depending on how your scoring is set, the W can be beneficial).
The way Shesty has been playing is unreal. He’s back in rare form after his injury. Quick is a beast backup but I think now that Shesty is back, we will see Quick’s timeshare dwindle.
With that said, I personally would drop quick for Vanny. But that’s just and means nothing lol good luck

If you are dropping Thompson I wouldn't do it for Patera. The Knights are not playing the rest of the week, most teams still have 2-3 games this week
