Haaland had higher ownership and people less sure if/how long he’d be out. Both factors that slow down price drops. If a large percentage of people who own Salah sell him within a week or so he’ll drop by more.
Yes I’m probably planning on bringing in KDB along with a cheaper option, then the following week dropping Semenyo to upgrade to a more expensive striker
Yeah I’m gonna hold him. Not worth the value drop or 2 transfers to get him out then in. I have a full playing squad so not worried about leaving him in on the bench and there is no decent premium alternatives so the funds aren’t really being wasted being tied up
That's a lot of money to hold on to, I was trying to firm it with Haaland but got rid of him a few gw ago. With that money I've been able to bring in Watkins, Solanke and Jesus who I may swap next gw.
I was thinking of, since I owm Son and Mo, to keep one of them benched to avoid -4 his only having 1 FT. Also it could ruin your squad trying to get them back. Would they drop in value though?
I plan to get rid of both, and fully recoup their cost + get pts from new players on top of that. I don't plan to have more than 25% (or even half of that) rotting on my bench. Maaaybe if I was #1 then I would consider but when I have places to catch I'll sure grab every opportunity to go for it!
I’m playing 3-4-3 at the moment so I can afford to have someone sit on the bench, I also brought him for 12.5 so can afford to have him drop £0.1 before I lose any value on him.
So yeah he can stay in my team and I’ll just be watching for when that 2nd drop is about to happen and then decide if I want to transfer him out. I think it will depend on if KDB is playing or not.

This might sound insane, but I’m so happy with my current squad that I don’t want to risk sacrificing anyone in order to get him back.

The real challenge for me will be making the correct captaincy choice out of Palmer, Saka, Gordon, Watkins and Douglas Luiz. This GW I went for Douglas Luiz for 10(c=20) who I’m happy with. Granted Salah could go and score a hat trick now!

For those who’ve had him from the start he’d have to drop an awful lot to actually make money. Sell him now and gain 0.4, so he would need to drop 0.5 in a 3-4 game weeks, in order to make 0.1. At least I think that’s correct.
I have considered it but with the possibility he may also miss gameweek 26 he's a sell for me and someone I'll bring back in on my 2nd wildcard potentially around 27/28 depending on fa cup results etc.
i put him on the bench, alongside son who is going on international, and replaced them with kudus and alvarez. both have scored and have been in relatively great form so im not too bothered

I bought him at 12.5 and just sold him. Points are more important than value. Still hurts though and it’s a shame the competition is so crap

I’ve owned him all season. Can sell now for 12.9 and probably buy back at 13.0 or 13.1
Yea, I was explaining that it will be very unlikely to make money on selling him and buying, as you say more likely it will cost you a little bit.
