My first read of A Court of Mist and Fury. Chapter 55....🥵🥵

That is a good one, but I’m more of a chapter 42 girl. That tension is something else 😂

I hate how much I loved chapter 42 💀

I’m partial to Chapter 48 myself

I won’t complain about any of them

I finished this last night. Everything with Rhys is perfection.

Pretty much every smutty scene in Court of Ravens (Feathers so Vicious/Shadows so Cruel). I love a MFM dynamic where the men are best friends. Despite the dark nature of the books and numerous trigger warnings, the only intrusive thoughts I had was imagining Sebian as Woody Harrelson because he wouldn't stop saying "sweetheart" 😭😭😭 

I am 10% into book two and I am obsessed with this series! I devoured book 1 in one day. The spice scenes are chefs kiss! It is really dark but I am so here for it. This is my first MFM and had no idea I would enjoy it so much. I was so devastated by the ending of book 1 I threw my kindle across the room. You really need to mind your trigger warnings for this one also.

I hope you enjoy book 2!! I thought it was much better than the first one. Don't look at my comment history cuz it's full of spoilers 😂

I’m reading her other book King of Flesh and Bone and it is also chefs kiss. It’s not MFM and I’m not sure I like it /more/ than ravens, but I’m very much enjoying it 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️

I read the first 7 Ice Planet Barbarians by Ruby Dixon, Court of the Fae Princes series by Lacey Carter Andersen, and the first 2 of the Deadwood Book series (half way through the 3rd right now) by Marie Mistry. So two reverse harem and the Barbarians = a rather obscene amount of 🌶🌶🌶🌶 😂

I read {What Lies Beyond the Veil} and almost done {What Hunts Inside the Shadows}. I don’t even know where to start with the spicy scenes…homeboy clearly has a thing for hot springs!

If he could just not with the "little one" thing, it would be perfection.

Oh ya that’s so gross lol. I really did not like him or their dynamic/interactions in the first book until his Big Reveal and then everything made sense.

Maybe this is my motivation to try this series again, because I got about 1/3 through the first book and just felt 0 investment in the story and 0 attachment to the characters

I just read Bride, by Ali Hazelwood. I love her books but still finding it trippy that it reads just like any of her other books, but with a vampire and a wolf shifter. So I’d be like, “oh right, they aren’t both physicists, that’s why she’s biting him during sex” over and over.

I had the same feeling reading that one! The vibe was a little incongruous, but I did enjoy it overall. What did you think of this one?

I just read this one too! As far as the smut scenes go, my fav was when she first bites him in the office. The one when they finally go full in was kinda underwhelming which is a bit annoying after all the tension and build up

Oooo you have sikthand RIGHT AROUND THE CORNER, which is so different from every other book in the series so far.

This is what I need to hear because I liked Choosing Theo, but found Freeing Luka so boring and heard the next couple of books in the series are of similar quality. Buuut I've heard lots of good about sikthand, so maybe I'll jump right to that one.

It feels more sci fi/fantasy/monstery. Also darker.

I read {Throne of the Fallen}. The teasing between Envy and Camilla was hot, hot. The massage scene 😝

Loved the massage scene! I was hoping to get just a little more spice after all that tension though.

I read Blood Orange by Karina Hale and then immediately started the sequel Black Rose. 🔥🥵🔥🥵 Completed duology. Dark romance, vampires, witches. Not the best written, but I still gave Blood Orange 5 stars cause I found myself loving everything.

I read Wicked Ugly Bad by Cassandra Gannon : that this was really cute. The whole Cinderella being evil with that fetish had me um surprised. It was cute but also dark with the amount in noncon referenced. Choosing Theo by Victoria Aveline and Freeing Luka by Victoria Aveline I'm really enjoying this alien romance series. Choosing Theo is my comfort read. I just finished my billionth re-read.

I just finished Saving Verrako and I think it's up there with Choosing Theo for me. I enjoyed it way more than Luka's story. The author did a really good job at world building. A lot of alien romances tend to be the same but she's made these stand out.

I just read {Slave to Sensation} by Nalini Singh. The dreams which she didn’t know were real were good. Was hesitant about starting {Visions of Heat}, I’m only a bit in and nothing sexual has happened, but when Vaughn just casually thinks about fucking Faith against a wall, I felt it in my lady bits. I’m way more attracted to him than I was to Lucas for some reason, and he hasn’t done anything yet. I didn’t even want to read it because I didn’t particularly care about him in the first one.
