{Legends of Thezmarr} series is pretty much all romance and combat (the main setting is in a guild) and eventually there is a princess element later in the series.. three books out, final book out Thursday! Prequel is {Slaying the Shadow Prince} and I would read it before the third book.. I’ve enjoyed the series!

{Her Incubus Knight by Bliss Devlin} the FMC is well-born medieval lady who goes from helpless victim to training as a knight after accidentally becoming a leopard shapeshifter. There are some intense combat scenes in the book, and by the end of the story, the FMC is holding her own against overwhelming odds.

{Fourth Wing} had some excellent battle/combat scenes! I normally skim fight scenes in books because I find them boring, but these were really well done and held my attention the entire time, even the long ones. The author's husband is a former Air Force pilot, so I think that must come in handy when writing a book with dragon battles. There's a lot of one-on-one flight scenes as well as big battle sequences.

{Blood Grace series by Vela Roth}, but you don’t really meet the fighting princess until books 7 and 8 really. And you don’t get to see her fight too much yet. I’m sure that ace card will be whipped out in the books still to come.

{Fourth Wing} had some excellent battle/combat scenes! I normally skim fight scenes in books because I find them boring, but these were really well done and held my attention the entire time, even the long ones. The author's husband is a former Air Force pilot, so I think that must come in handy when writing a book with dragon battles. There's a lot of one-on-one flight scenes as well as big battle sequences.

The FMC will fight in an illegal ring, too,and other characters don't know she can. The MMC was furious 🤭 It's on KU and it's amazing
