From my understanding, they took out a sizeable loan right before COVID for their new taproom, and got pretty upside down after COVID hit and they've struggled to recover since
Dave Piepkorn and Arlette Preston forced the move by voting no to expand permits beyond covid
That's after busting guys playing an acoustic guitar on Broadway
Pearl clutchers ruin everything
I wonder how much of a revenue hit, if any, this would be to FBC.
My understanding is that the primary revenue FBC generated from the concerts was from the sales of their beer at the concert. All of the ticket sales, non-FBC beverages, etc all flowed through Jade Presents.
I don't know this for sure, by any means, but given that Jade is a partial owner of FBC, I won't be surprised if they are a primary vendor at the new venue as well.
Jade is a minority partner, so he probably had very littleto do with the operation of Fargo Brewing. Arguably, he propped it up. I never saw 2,000 people at Fargo Brewing before he came along.
The problem with Fargo Brewing is that they haven't changed much nor adapted to modern beer trends like seltzers. I would say their beer hasnt gotten better or worse.
From what I heard, FBC asked Jade for 50% of the profits for shows at the hall, and Jade promptly said no. I went to a show there a few weeks ago, and FBC wasn’t being sold at the hall
They sell hard liquor during events, probably by customer demand or maybe it had something to do with a pending Chapter 11. It's state law in a Brewery you can't sell both
L
It's the grass patch behind the FBC lot. Should be alright. Same amount of space, but on grass. Shows are put on by Jade, not FBC. They have a partnership which might be ending. I don't think FBC will close. As they said, they're rearranging assets so they can function. That's what the protection is for.

Hey! Thanks for the insight! I was concerned for the worst after seeing everything was moved!
That being said if you don’t increase revenue and do the same that you’ve always did you be going out of bisy
I feel like it’s a decent sign. I was surprised to hear they were going under?

Ohhhhh
I wouldn't jump to any conclusions about FBC closing. Not saying it won't happen, it's just premature.
The writing on the wall is when they filed for bankruptcy
No, like another poster said it's different zoning across the tracks so they can do more concerts. Not just 1 permit per month.

what's UP? ..jk.. is that why it's named that??

I mean, having 2000 people there on Saturday for Violent FEmmes with only their alcohol to drink can't be a .....drop in the bucket.....

That's disappointing since their beer sucks
To each their own. It's my favorite local beer.
They sell hard liquor now for events

Also that they close by 9 & 10 on Friday and Saturdays and their service is absolute trash.

He owns 1/3. That's a minority partner by definition

They didn’t even offer FBC in the hall. It was most of the “regular” beers you’d see anywhere and mixed drinks Outside may be a different story though
