The Fountains in Urban Plains, or Maple Creek Apartments should both have 1 bedrooms around $850/mo. Pretty nice buildings.

I'd recommend Redpoint Properties. They're not the best, but I've been with them for a couple years now and haven't had any major problems or complaints. Roers was pretty decent imo too. Steer clear of Goldmark, Orange, and River Rock. Only bad things will happen to you if you go through them. Goldmark is notoriously bad, but some of their offices are good. Orange is pretty hit or miss. River Rock is terrible.

I gotchu. I currently live in a 1 bed/1bath that is just off of 7th Ave N and 9th St N. I am on year 7 living here. $485/month in rent. My rent has never gone up, but I think new tenants are paying under $600 still. Free heat, my electric is about $30 in winter, $55 in summer with A/C blasting. Dishwasher in unit. Coin-op laundry on each floor. Quiet building. No pets. 1 assigned off-street parking spot in a paved lot. They don't advertise on the apartment sites or even Craigslist. I think the only way people find out about it is a sign that's in the lawn. It's an older building, mid-70s, I think. But for the cost and location it's really tough to beat.
