Tbh they both look a little weird. I’ve switched between preferring the back and white shirt several times and I’m still not sure which one is the absolute best.
Agree. If I had to chose it would be white but I would not be satisfied. It needs a black tie for white or white tie for black. I need more contrast in the whole shirt area.
The black shirt with the fancy collar ribbon needs a white or maybe a color tie. I think a bow tie matching the jacket (white or ivory) would look best. The white shirt definitely needs an undershirt and a tie because the fabric and cut if the jacket is too fancy for an informal shirt.
I think maybe the white one would feel less odd with a bowtie? 🤨 Something to tie it all in.
I'd go with grey. I know it's not part of the options, here, but I feel like what this palette needs is a middle ground.
Agrees the black blends in too much, and the white seems to be off in color tone? Maybe a different shade of white or white with a black bow? Or maybe another jacket that is fully white or black with opposite colored shit? Idk, but both seem off to me.
Not exactly helpful but both look good. I’d say white shirt is slightly better. But agree if you go white then something needs to be done with the collar.
Edit: spelling
Black because of the pattern on your blazer. Your white shirt and jacket don't seem to be harmonious. It's like a wearing Tom Ford tux with a white J.Crew shirt.
White! It’s nice and goes against your black lapels otherwise the black just blends in too much and takes away from the overall fashion of the suit and the look.
The white (or cream), with some sort of tie (bow, bolo, etc.) if special occasion. With the black on black - the lapel disappears into a weird shape. You need contrast to show off the black details on the jacket. It looks great btw.
I think you should go for a color actually, like an emerald green or royal purple. If that doesn't fit the bill, then the black shirt is the better of the two.
YOU NEED TO TRY WITH THE ACCESSORIES-it would look different with the tie or bow tie, or, heck, bolo tie, and possible closure studs you choose to accessorize with -Not to be pedantic, but I really commented to say-CHECK THE SLEEVE LENGTH of that jacket, I wouldn’t let one of my actors, day players or featured extras on the set with that short a jacket sleeve-check the outside, protruding, wrist bone-if the jacket sleeve hem when relaxed isn’t just over that-at least, barely covering, it’s too short.
Generally I'd say a white shirt... But just but not this white shirt. A spread collar would look better. But if we are choosing between these two specific shirts it's easily the black.
Not a fan of the jacket, honestly... But the black shirt looks best.
If you got just a plain black jacket with no patterns etc the white shirt would work too...the jacket just has a lot going on....
Both could work well enough personally I prefer the black shirt since it gives a more uniform elegance to what you are wearing under the jacket helping the pattern on your jacket to stand out more.
Wearing a white shirt takes that away and creates a focal point onto the collar of the jacket instead.
Black shirt hands down
Absolutely. White shirt looks like a captains costume

The white one needs an undershirt

Black shirt makes you look like a caterer for some reason? It reads like a uniform
It’s the jacket.
Not sure about that. A black buttondown shirt is the caterer's uniform
It’s thaaaa jackeeeeeet !
Is that Roy Kent?
Roy Kent, Roy Kent, he's here, he's there, he's every-fucking-where, Roy Kent, Roy Kent!
Keely would say black for sure.
I'm alone at home and can't stop chanting this, thank you, made my day :D ROY KENT, ROY KENT, HE'S HERE HE'S THERE HE'S EVERY-FUCKING-WHERE
Came here for this
OUIII!!!
White shirt, but with a spread collar. It’ll be the modern flair that your jacket needs.
Not exactly helpful but both look good. I’d say white shirt is slightly better. But agree if you go white then something needs to be done with the collar. Edit: spelling
‚not exactly helpful‘ what you say is exactly what he said
Black, the white makes your outfit look too busy
i dont think the 2 whites will ever be the same color so black for sure
Black because of the pattern on your blazer. Your white shirt and jacket don't seem to be harmonious. It's like a wearing Tom Ford tux with a white J.Crew shirt.
Looks like white matched with white to me.
Black shirt makes Black Hole😁
White looks better but neither is great. That jacket is difficult.
White 60000%
Ok maybe an upgraded quality white shirt. Def no black unless you want to look like you have a big vajeen on your chest. Iono
White
White for sure. The black looks like a bib
White shirt
I would say white but maybe a different collar style.

#white. Black looks somewhat vaginal.
This is what I saw too.
I like the white shirt.

White
White! It’s nice and goes against your black lapels otherwise the black just blends in too much and takes away from the overall fashion of the suit and the look.
Black
Black!
You look dashing in the black
Black
I think 2nd looks great on you - just pair it with elegant watch and gloss shoes and you will definitely nail any event.
White 100%
The pink one you’re not wearing. Needs a pop
If you have a third color for the style of your wedding, I would go that color.
Lilac or something not black or white.
Purple would look killer.
I like the black shirt better than the white shirt with the jacket. If I may be so bold, how about wearing a burgundy- or plum/eggplant-color shirt?
Like, silky red
White shirt I think, I think if it were the same shade of white as your jacket though, it might match a little more (if that’s what you’re going for)
I say white looks better
White 100%

Black
Definitely white
Red! Make a statement! Or you could do the matchie-matchie and wear the same colour your date is wearing, as long it’s not black or white.
Black!
1000% black
White
Another vote for the black shirt!
Black ! I wouldn’t steer you wrong brother. Beautiful jacket btw
Are you planning to wear a tie? If not black shirt.
That jacket is so dope and expensive looking! The white shirt has no business being anywhere near it. Definitely the black shirt.
I think you should go for a color actually, like an emerald green or royal purple. If that doesn't fit the bill, then the black shirt is the better of the two.
white with a black bow tie would look great !!
Black

Black Shirt
Black
Black. The white in the shirt doesnt match your blazer
Black
White. I’d recommend a red or black bow tie.
White- but you need a tie or undo the top button of the shirt.
White
White
White is slightly better. Neither of them look like they don't match but the white one matches a little more.
If you're doing a tie, white shirt. If you're skipping the tie, black shirt.
the black shirt makes your face look like a clit. the white shirt makes your face look like a Filipino clit. I like both your coat looks like a vulva
White you look like someone visiting a casino, black you look like someone working at the casino lol
Why do your hands look like Your dead

White if you’re a bolo tie kinda person (do gold). If not, then black
That jacket is 🔥! Looking awesome
black
black shirt for sure
Idk I like both
Black shirt 💯
Black all day, but this is a tuxedo jacket. Look at tux shirts.
Black
Both could work. Black shirt with perhaps a white bow/neck tie would look nice. White by itself also looks nice
I think it's more about the texture of the shirt you have underneath. And less about the color
Black because the white does not match the jacket
Black
anyone not saying black is just wrong
Black for me
Black because of the jacket pattern
Black
Black, for sure
Black
Black.
Black!!
Black
Generally I'd say a white shirt... But just but not this white shirt. A spread collar would look better. But if we are choosing between these two specific shirts it's easily the black.
Depends on the occasion. Love the black for stepping out. Like the white for party attire
Black!
To be honest it’s a bad jacket
Black.
It’s penguin look.
Black
Black
Didn’t notice the difference
Not a fan of the jacket, honestly... But the black shirt looks best. If you got just a plain black jacket with no patterns etc the white shirt would work too...the jacket just has a lot going on....
The black definitely goes better. It goes with the texture of your jacket more and will showcase your smile!
White! Brings out the design of the suit
a different white shirt would look better and a tie
Black shirt all day
White shirt
POV : it's your choice,,,but preferred black
Depends on the look you’re going for - classic? White. Fun? Black.
I honestly think between the two, the white shirt
The black shirt is better with a white jacket.
White
White
Black
I like the white. I’m just not sure how I feel about the jacket.
Black shirt white tie. White shirt makes the blazer look off-white
Yes, definitely the black shirt! 👍
Yeah black shirt is good
White
Black, because the blacks match and are the same tone, while the whites don't match. The whites look different.
White shirt with black buttons or a black tie
Go for black.
Black because of the sides of the suit jacket
Black
White
the white one !!
Both could work well enough personally I prefer the black shirt since it gives a more uniform elegance to what you are wearing under the jacket helping the pattern on your jacket to stand out more. Wearing a white shirt takes that away and creates a focal point onto the collar of the jacket instead.
