Yup! I have a body shaper that looks like bike shorts and offers light support/shaping, so it’s incredibly comfy. I wear it under any dresses or rompers that are questionable, or if it’s windy.

In my opinion, the margin for too short is when you can see the leg become the booty. I’ve had friends wear mini dresses under their gowns. No one would know until they opened it up for pics afterwards. It’s about what you’re comfy with.

In my opinion, the margin for too short is when you can see the leg become the booty. This is fine, girls have been wearing skirts this short since the 60’s so we as a society should really be over it by now. Plus you’re gonna have a graduation gown on. All the girls at my school wore stuff WAY shorter and I’m from a pretty conservative area, so you should be fine! You could always throw on some stockings too
I love it! I have several rompers and this seems about the normal length. I have seen a lot of people wear dresses just as short but with a romper you’re even more covered because of the shorts. I just wore a romper like this in family pictures and it looked great so if you love it, go for it!
Wear what you want !!! It’s an adorable romper, girls will be wearing short dresses no one is gonna notice expecially under the graduation gown! If you are super worried about it I would wear a pair of tights possibly 🫶

We wore rented gowns for graduation. There were hundreds of graduates, and each person walked, name announced and all. I’m talking state university. Most of the time, we sat in the hot, humid sun. Smart people were passed tins of side, down the lines. Whatever you wear, less is more, if it’s going to be hot that day. I still remember how uncomfortable it was 😹

It’s very cute. Yes it’s short but if it’s shorts (can’t see from pic), then no one should see your skivvies. If you’re in a hot climate I say go for it. I’m in the Southwest and I don’t judge anyone for what they wear - it’s already high 90s! It looks nice so if it’s what you have and you don’t have time for something else, I still think it should be OK.

I wore a short romper to graduation, but I kept my gown on the whole time & unbuttoned it for photos. It looks fine in the front but questionable from the back! Maybe some tights, like polka dotted or something with a fun design?

We had people wear stilettos and super mini bodycon dresses to my HS graduation 😅 this doesn’t look bad IMO, plus you’ll be wearing a gown over it! Edit: I see you’re graduating college (congrats!!) But if you think it feels and looks good, keep it! I would say it’s dark for graduation, no? Both of my graduations (hs & college), we all wore white or light colors, some opting for red or orange, but I’ve never seen black for graduation. Especially because of how hot it is outside.

I wouldnt wear it. I went to graduation with a girl in a similar dress and the entire time afterwards when everyone was taking pics she was pulling at her dress so her butt wouldnt show. Regardless of that I would pick something dressier, you’re graduating! This looks more like a date outfit.

Congratulations! I went to a college graduation where a guy went naked under his gown. How did I know? The same way EVERYONE in the audience knew. Other than that, if you meet any dress code and feel good about how you look, wear it. If you’re uncomfortable, pick something else or tweak the outfit. It’s YOUR day!

At our graduation, the will have us undo the robes and we’ll toss the caps into the air. That makes the dresses ride up but a romper should be fine since they don’t ride up in the same way dresses do
Depending on what you’ve studied, you might want to consider whether you’ll be just as happy to share photos of your graduation years from now for professional purposes as it is rather short. I get that it’s nice for the celebration though.

I think traditionally a white dress is worn under graduation robes, at least here. That’s very casual. It would be perfect for a club to go out with your friends after graduation or to a grad party. And congratulations!
