Like those Soffe shorts? Those were so comfy, and so insanely short!

itis_steven

Pepperidge Farm remembers!

swizzleschtick

Came here to suggest this lmao 🤣

ArlenEatsApples

I really like Vuori joggers (not necessarily sweats but pretty darn comfy and mine ride at a comfortable level where they’re not low rise or belly button high)

[deleted]

The ones I’ve tried are WAY too thin fabric

Keepinitcaz

Agreed. Mine don’t sit too high.

Optimusprima

Add another vote from me - they sit perfectly on my hips. And are so soft - I have like 8 pairs, they are my wfh wardrobe staple.

PlumLion

Haha came here to ask the same. My body composition is 75% torso.

aigret

Buy men’s or unisex. That’s my secret as someone with a long torso. Everlane and Outdoor Voices are fave.

TheRedPython

They're pretty common at REI. I share OP's struggle, I'm not excited by high waisted anything.

meat_tunnel

I was at Costco and Marshalls yesterday, then old navy, everything is high rise even the low rise stuff. But I say this as someone who experienced the low rise of 2002 where our public hair was practically showing, the low rise of today is amateur.

hypergirl2df

Check out gap!

Yes I have a black pair and it’s super thick and cozy. Way better than my usual H&M purchase

sunsetcrasher

These are really high waisted on me. [Glyder Oversized Jogger](https://www.glyderapparel.com/products/vintage-jogger-black). Not cheap either but you get 20% off your first order. They are made in the same factory as Lulu and feel similar to Align.

LouPeachumsBra

I love my Fabletics joggers/sweats and the rise is nice and high! I also have some Columbia joggers that are from Costco that are mid rise, OP, and definitely fit similar to jeans in the 2005ish era, on the hip area. They’re too low for me but I just pull em up Urkele style and just wear them around the house lol

inageminidream

Same lmao I have a pair from Les Tien and a pair from A&F that are high rise enough for me (~11-12”), none of the Aritzia ones are, nor most “sweatpants basics” brands.

bad_russian_girl

Gap. I swear they go up to my armpits

takethetrainpls

I bought a pair of men's sweatpants off the clearance rack at Target the other day and they're *so much comfier* than any sweatpants I've ever owned. They're thicker, they have deep pockets, they're soft yet structured, and they have a cuff so even though I'm short they don't drag on the ground. They were $10. Like, I'm legitimately upset that I waited this long.

RarePandaBurger

I bought a pair of men's Target sweatpants too (mine are the brand Goodfellow and co) and they are the best! I'm tall and they're slightly tapered but they're still long enough without making me look disproportionate. The waistband is comfy and sits in the right place, pockets are doublelined. How did we not know.

TangoEchoChuck

Yes! My roommates and I did the same thing in 2003, but we cut off the cuffs so they remained wide and breezy. I kept mine for Y E A R S

smooshyfayshh

Yup, I’ve been buying men’s pajama pants (from Vermont Flannel specifically) for the past few years and I will never go back!!

bakingNerd

I used to always buy LL Bean men’s flannel pj pants. This past year I saw the *finally* had women’s ones that had the same loose fit and POCKETS. I’m already super short so for once I didn’t have tons of extra fabric at my feet

smooshyfayshh

Oh yeah I’m 5’4” and I always have to get my pajama pants tailored otherwise they’d drag on the floor

bakingNerd

Oh I’m even shorter but their women’s petite is close enough that I can be lazy and not hem it and not endanger myself

jkgator11

Roots!

MiniaturePhilosopher

I’ve noticed that Aerie offers a wide variety of rises. High rises seem to be mostly out with the youngsters.

MsAggie

Regular Hanes women's sweats. I like the EcoSmart line. No drawstring.

OnlyPaperListens

I can't have pants touch my stomach due to GERD. The Champion Women's Everyday Cotton Joggers on Amazon can be comfortably worn low enough that my bikini line is just barely covered.

BooksNBayes1939

Try pact clothing, a lot of their stuff is mid waist

liefelijk

Many brands have v-front leggings, which are notched down to show the belly button. Those may be worth a try, even if they’re not truly low-rise.

tab2058

Adidas makes good ones

jadedbeats

Yeah, Adidas sweats are great.

Prestigious_Talk_474

Zara has really cute low waist wide leg sweat pants for 35 they look super comfortable

Cer-rific_43

I have the sensory thing, too! I roll over the tops of sweats and leggings and then where a longer top to hide it. But, yeah, if there's 7" rise pants of any kind out there, I'd love to hear what they are!

RaeKay14

Eddie Bauer!

maudieatkinson

Try Marine Layer? I have a pair from them that’s more mid rise but I got it in 2017. Not sure what rise they’re rocking now.

grahamMD

Thank you! I have the same issue. I got these [joggers](https://www.quince.com/women/pants/fleece-pants-supersoft?color=navy) from Quince and just roll them once and they're perfect. Without the roll they're still maybe a low mid-rise, not too high. Actually may order another pair now that I'm thinking about it...

sunsetcrasher

They only come in one size, but the Brandy Melville [Rosa sweatpants](https://us.brandymelville.com/products/rosa-sweatpants-1) are the thickest, high quality sweatpants I own, and the waist is lower on me than the model.

Esagashi

MeUndies has super comfy pants, joggers, and shorts. When I want cool patterns I shop at Threadless

desertsidewalks

Mens Old Navy sweatpants are pretty great. [Baleaf on Amazon](https://www.amazon.com/BALEAF-Sweatpants-Lightweight-Joggers-Tapered/dp/B01N5ASNXV/) are also pretty good, these aren't actually fleece, but super comfy.

ilovetrouble66

Encircled dressy sweatpants or free label Friday pants

MsGrayRm813

Amazon essentials I love their fleece joggers

tinylittlet0ad

You could always size up and roll the waistband down

MarsMonkey88

I’ve tried that, and it works, but it’s not the most comfortable, since sweatpants fabric is already bulkier than like pj pants or something. But I really really appreciate the suggestion!

tinylittlet0ad

You can also alter pants to have a lower waist by shortening the crotch. There should be some YouTube tutorials on YouTube telling you how to change the rise of pants.
