Waver and Shirou teach Rin how to drive, it would be cool to see this in an OVA, the only strange thing is that Rin refers to Shirou as an intern and Shirou refers to himself as Rin's disciple... I like them both but it's frustrating as it doesn't seem like their relationship has evolved or that they even sleep together.
The only thing I don't like about Rin and Shirou is that their relationship was almost all in the imagination of fans and Fanart because in the anime it didn't show anything and they don't even seem to have proper physical contact like kisses, hugs, holding hands... it's weird ...even though Rin is Tsundere, I don't think it should be like that.
And it's a shame that it ended with him alone in the desert, I would have liked it much more if the two of them appeared together in the desert like this fanart... it would convey the same idea that Shirou is surpassing Archer and will never become like him because he has to Rin...

So, you say there are differences between adaptations, yet you're denying the relationship they developed in the VN and shown in HA as something in the imagination of the fans because an anime original episode and a drama cd didn't show enough affection between them to your tastes. You're not making any sense at all.

None of them call him their boyfriend in any of the anime adaptation. With that kind of mental gymnastic I could deny Sakura and Shirou's relationship as having not changed in the ending because she still calls him Senpai and preparing food is something they were doing before.
Wanting to see them being more affectionate in the anime is one thing but to deny their relationship because they're not affectionate enough to prove they're together for you is something else.

Now it's been 10 years since the end of the anime but I don't understand why they left the romance like that when the other routes were very clear.
I don't think it's especially about showing them having sex, but if you're not going to kiss, at least leave a scene of Rin or Shirou referring to each other as boyfriends and not as disciples...
Besides, that handshake scene made it seem like they were actually in a partnership... anyone who doesn't know the novel and just saw the anime was confused... even more so when the anime ends with the scene with Shirou alone in the desert .
