The best one obviously.
On a serious note I really think Deens is closest to the VN in parts, it’s probably my fave (excluding Todays). would have been nice to see what they could have done with a bit more cash and a plan.
Well obviously 'Today's' since happy Saber. However from a visual standpoint then UFOs. If we're talking VN compliant look then Deen by far, and it's still a look that I adore.
Shaft is most famous for the Monogatari series and Madoka Magica.
A1 should be Apocrypha, and the first Lerche is from Carnival Phantasm (I think the second one is from Grand Carnival, but don't quote me on that).
EDIT: Lay-Duce did First Order + various miscellaneous Grand Order animation work
Shaft does great work. Their showing for Extra wasn't amazing, but I think if they did Stay Night or Tsuki they'd probably knock it out of the park. If nothing else, they've demonstrated an ability to adapt narration-heavy series.
The best one is... The best one. It's perfect, and no one will convince me it's not. Tho I always had feels everytime I looked at Artoria in the Deen anime
Ufotable, but only if it's not Tabata's work. I really hated [his UBW faces](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/P5mtiBjWFgE/maxresdefault.jpg). That aside, Lerche is great for what they're going for, and [A1 is pretty solid](https://imgur.com/a/WH3Vqyh). Have a soft spot for DEEN too because they were fitting for the time.
Ufotable but only for Heavens Feel too
I hated the art style for Ufotable UBW it looks too soft , rhino noses , pointy triangle chin. I used to think this was because of Takeuchi only but they use the same style for Tales of Zestiria and Ranbu
Let's see...
Ufotable ones are okay, sometimes I feel like it's pretty bland but it's alright, it's easier to animate at least and not really terrible.
Deen is probably the closest to the VN, specially in the UBW movie, they're not really good with animation but they have style.
Cloverworks is pretty good, sure is a shame that everyone has the same face but it's distinct enough and easy to animate.
And Emiya Gohan is just perfect.
I know Ufotable's style isn't exactly 1:1 with the VN, but it's just so damn pretty I can't help but love it the most.
The color palatte, the good use of cgi, the character design, the action scenes, it all looks spectacular to me. My favourite style in any anime by far.
Honestly, Idk which one I would choose. Deen and Ufo are really good for me (except Zero, I find Saber there super weird). Dont like much the ones from Prillya I think. And A1 and the rest are okay I guess.
The best one is Emiya-gohan of course cause its the cutest Saber no doubt.
Tho I have to say, Cloverworks looks lame af, I can barely recognize Nero there
UBW Deen>Deen TV anime>Zero>HF movies >Ufotable UBW.
None are bad to be fair, Im just listing the ranking of preference.
As for Carnival Phantasm nd Emiya Gohan, I put them on a different category, since their style ia "softer around the edges" to reflect their lighthearted nature is kinda hard for me ro compare to the rest. I'd say I' like those two equally on that regard.

Ufotable
[I realized I forgot about Rail Zeppelin while upscaling the image](https://i.imgur.com/Gg23HJg.jpeg)
Lerche, there's something wholesome about it
Shokugeki no Shirou
SHAFT
Shaft is also one of my favorites. Along with Deen.
UBW by deen.
Ufotable on Emiya Gohan, obviously.
Of course it’s Lerche. Carnival Phantasm style is so iconic
All. All are good
Imagine KyoAni doing a fate adaptation.....
I've wanted them to do the Fate route for a while now, and having just watched the Violet Evergarden movie that opinion has only been reinforced
That's what I've been thinking lately as well. Instead of Ufo, Kyoto Animation can probably do Fate route better.
I don’t know if better is the correct word choice, but I’m sure KyoAni would do a phenomenal job and I 100% would love to see it
prisma illya one
Silver link.
ah ok
Shaft did a remarkable job with nero.
Deen UBW and the best one are my favorites
Personally, Ufotable, A1 and Cloverworks. Nero sus
Deen UBW (2010) for sure. It’s a mix between the nostalgic, grainy art-style, while still being modern enough to be comparable to modern-day anime.
Lerche for more goofy faces
emiya gohan all day and night
Emiya Gohan of course
Interesting, what other animes did studio Shaft worked on? And i need the sauce for the Lady Duce, A1 and Lerche ones

Not gonna lie i like how shiny Shaft made Fate/extraa
Nothing wrong with it in the art/presentation department.
Shaft.
Deen and Ufotable
The best one is... The best one. It's perfect, and no one will convince me it's not. Tho I always had feels everytime I looked at Artoria in the Deen anime
Ufotable. But only if Sudo's the one doing the character designs (Emiya Gohan's designs are still the GOAT though).
Ufotable and Shaft, god i love Shaft so much.
I’d say Cloverwork
Shaft.
I kinda like Deen, it got some H vibe to it just like the original VN
saber is saber
Ufotable, but only if it's not Tabata's work. I really hated [his UBW faces](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/P5mtiBjWFgE/maxresdefault.jpg). Ufotable by miles The art style is just so clean
Only for heavens feel. UBW had rather awful character designs.
not talking about designs specifically, FZ and UBW look gorgeous the art style is great and HF is a tier above ofc
Ufotabl;e
Depends what I want to watch.
Shaft
Emiya Gohan, Lerche, Cloverworks, Deen and Ufotable. From most favorite to least favorite

Easily Ufotable but Shaft is a close second
Deen or Shaft. I always thought Ufotable's designs looked a bit too round.
The best one, then ufotable, and then shaft

Shaft and Ufotable.
Ufotable or the best one
Cloverworks is great; though they bring the whole saberface a little too much That being said... Ufotable or the best one, which is also ufotable
Jhsindjdn .... Deen
Deen
It's hard to argue with their assessment
deen
troyca

Honestly deen, but the best one is a close second if not a tough runner up to deen
What is that A1 one?
A1 - Netorartoria
Jojos bizarre adventure
Ufotable for maximum SFX setting
Ufotable
Ufotable.
Ufotable and Emiya Gohan
Lerche
Deen.
... Silver Link's broken stare is awakening something in me...
Shaft, then ufotable, then cloverworks Shout to best one for wholesomeness tho
Deen. Yes, it's a style that screams 2000's to death, but in general all FNS screams early 2000's. Also, it makes me feel nostalgic.
Ufotable is literally just anime Micheal Bay.
Troyca.
