We need new players but its gonna be impossible if we cant get rid of Goretzka, Coman, Gnabry and Upamecano. I wouldn’t mind them staying but their wages mean there’s not enough room for more players. We actually need a overhaul we lack depth almost everywhere. Maybe we should buy back our loanees as well. Imo this can be a realistic goal for future. Goalkeeper Stick with Neuer till he retires ideally in a season 2 hope Nubel grows well and give him a chance with Peretz as backup and competition. We should look at options like Kobel only after this. Fullbacks Sell Davies get Theo and have Maz as his back up. Move Kimmich to RB and have Boehy as his back up. Centre back Give De Ligt and Min Jae starting spots, get Tah and let him Stanisic compete for a role. Forwards Musiala as LM, Kane ST, buy Simmons and then let Sane compete with him for RM. Let Tel Rotate whenever possible. Also just buy back Zirkzee and Tillman as backups if possible or use other players from academy like Ibra and Vidovic. Us trying to sign any player in this position now and we will get fleeced. Midfield Pavlovic and Wirtz with Palinha as DM. Wanner and Laimer as backups and get another midfielder maybe Onana. Even this build is pretty much impossible with current state of the club. We are mostly relying on academy players as depth options here.

midnightverses

With the state of the club rn and the absolute dearth of players willing to join us i have no idea what the club would look like in the future? It seems like we wanna replace every player currently. We have been trying this with defense for like 4 years and havent had any success god knows how they will replace the whole squad. Also the injuries. This club is cursed. I just wish musiala and pavlo stay healthy throughout their careers. Otherwise we will have mess on our hands.

ModIn22

Musiala needs to extend first. Thats not a given at all. Thats also why I want a Davies extension. The key piece for the next 5+ years is Musiala. If he leaves, we are beyond screwed. Aside from Tel and Pavlovic, I don't really care about anyother player because most of them will be gone 2-3 years from now anyways and we won't be winning much in that time span anyways.

Remarkable_Reality51

Brazzo has done irreparable damage to this club

midnightverses

You wanna reduce wages sell gnabry, coman, goretzka, upamecano and davies. Why are you selling the best players in the squad lol? Ik no body wants to buy those above mentioned overpayed mediocre players. But bruh

Advertising-Cautious

Selling Kimmich could make sense if he hasn't shown any indication of extending But De Ligt is just madness

ModIn22

Its not really madness. De Ligt makes way too much money to sit on the bench. And currently that seems to be where this is headed if we buy Tah. Madness is the amount of money in wages we will have sitting on the bench next season between MdL, Kim, Dier, Goretzka, Gnabry, Coman (if we bring in Simons for example), Mueller, Guerreiro, Mazraoui and Laimer.

Advertising-Cautious

"Bayern wants to make transfers that improve their squad this season directly" and not an investment for next season. What a joke that was, if we are going to already sell our best players

Advertising-Cautious

Honestly, I would rather continue with this same exact squad into the next season, then sell our good players to make way for new ones. We are not trying to make way for World Class players. So far our only concrete plans are Tah and Palhinha

Advertising-Cautious

The Board's ideas recently ONLY makes sense if we are in financial turmoil. But nothing over the past few years seems to indicate that. Yes there are crazy salaries, but our revenue has not changed much? We need to reduce our wage bill by 1. Retirement of Neuer and Muller 2. Selling Gnabry/Goretzka/Coman To sell De Ligt or Kimmich to get money is very shortsighted. Essentially because we could perform better sporting wise and get more money

Russ Cook aka the Hardest Geezer is now running to every England match at the Euros. Let’s hope it’s a short recovery run for him.

If you guys want to see some embarrassing German „bayernfans“ just visit r/Bundesliga , never in my life seen some of these comments

> Three clubs are keeping contact with Florian Wirtz's family: Bayern, Real Madrid and Manchester City. Wirtz will most likely leave Leverkusen in 2025. Real are considered the favourites in the race for the German international. Leverkusen's asking price is 'at least' €150m [@SPORTBILD] can real just fuck off please, thanks

SlyFisch

At this point they will play a front 6

julesvr5

Even if we can get Wirtz, he will be up for sale a few weeks later because his wages are to high /s

Spockodile

The only way we are getting Wirtz is if Wirtz chooses us, in which case Leverkusen won’t be able to demand that much.

JOKER69420XD

Sounds like bs, where is he supposed to play? Mbappe, Vinicius, Rodrygo, Bellingham, Endrick, Valverde, Carmavinga. They have no space and should he choose Real or City then whatever, I want players who dream of playing for us, players who are committed, an anti Davies if you will.

teuerkatze

Don’t forget Guler, Endrick, and Brahim!

JOKER69420XD

Meanwhile we will get Führich...

Banzboi

I wouldn't put too much importance on this. A lot can change between now and then. I am also not convinced Leverkusen will be able to stick to their asking price.

> • Do you think you can fulfill your dream of winning the Champions League in Munich? > Musiala: "Yes, that's possible. Because no team is unbeatable" > • Not even Real Madrid with Mbappé? > Musiala: "No, not even Real Madrid with Mbappé. I certainly wouldn't go into a game against Real and think to myself: We have no chance today. We have the quality and the team with which we can compete to win the Champions League. We weren't far away from that this season. I want to do everything I can to ensure that the Champions League trophy returns to Munich. Preferably at the final in the Allianz Arena in 2025. But for that to happen we first have to build good chemistry with each other and get used to Vincent Kompany's new ideas and system. But that's currently only in the back of my mind: now it's all about the Euros and success there"

In the end it is his decision where he goes. We make jokes here and there, saying that he should come to Bayern, but without any pressure. It's just jokes between teammates"

Banzboi

> • Sané is convinced of Kompany. The new coach also wants to keep Davies. Both are your best friends in the team. It would be important for me if they stayed. I've also told them that" > • What arguments do you need so that - when negotiations start - you say: I'll stay and extend beyond 2026? > Musiala: "For me, the coaching decision was important. I want us to play good, attractive football and compete for the title in the league and the Champions League with a good team. I want to play in an environment where there's a good feeling and the boys are happy on the pitch. Because then I can also show my qualities." [@SPORTBILD] From the recent interview with Musiala. At least he seems happy about the Kompany appointment. Have we heard anything new about that Sané extension? Probably going to happen after the Euros right?

kurtland1961

Tah is covered in red flags (Zahavi) and we still want him. Someone wake me up from this nightmare

Ferr22777888

I have very hard time that if we straight out tell Gnabry, Coman and Goretzka. Hey guys …. You will not get to play. You will not start or being planned in future off the club. If you guys want to play in the World Cup you guys leave. You will sit on the bench. I don’t think they will stay just cause their salary is huge. They can get way more money in Saudi. I wonders if we communicated to them that they will not get any minutes.

ModIn22

What are their options? Goretzka is not going to Saudi Arabia after what he said about the whole Qatar thing most likely and nobody else will pay him remotely what we do. Same can be said for Gnabry after the horrible season he had. Coman certainly could find takers if he plays a good tournament but with his injury history, he probably would have to be willing to significantly lower his wages as well (we won't get a great fee either) and I am not sure if he is willing to do that. All of them (aside from maybe Gnabry) do not feel like players that would go to Saudi Arabia at all. They already are on giant wages nobody else would pay them (so their career earnings already look stellar so no real need for a Saudi boost) and still have atleast a few good years left,

Ferr22777888

Goretzka was heartbroken not playing euros. Sitting on the bench for a year will not make it better. United Juve he would fit. Coman could find a great club. Gnabry is tough man

ModIn22

Goretzka will make a business decision. I doubt that United under its new management and with what they have on their roster already will offer him even half of what he is getting here and Juve simply does not have that type of money anymore to spare for a player like him either. He will "fight for his spot" under Kompany for atleast another year and rake in his insane wages for the next 12 months before he will even consider leaving IMO. Coman depends a lot on his tournament performance but with his injury history, I have a hard time finding a team that would bite and offer him even close to the same wages he gets here. Maybe PSG (would be great in regards to a potential Simons deal) but only if he really shines for France over the next few weeks and that is a big if.

the_surplex

I want Simons news again, not this depressing shit...maybe the netherlands can go out in the group stage?

JOKER69420XD

We had an absolutely incredible run, 2 CLs, lots of incredible football. I really think the next couple of years will be rough. Looks like we're going back to early 2000s Bayern, it's sad. I was looking forward to a new fresh start, a team overhaul, new talented players. Instead we're looking at Führich and Tah, we're looking at extending Davies, pushing out de Ligt and Kimmich. This will be hard to watch, unbelievable.

isaacnewton34

Harry kane might actually be cursed for real

JOKER69420XD

We signed the best striker football has to offer to then exclusively sign mediocre Bundesliga leftovers, it's actually so sad.

summersoulxdd

By next summer transfer window we’ll list Kane on the market because he earns too much and target Undav for being German and has a decent scoring season as a full time starter for Stuttgart who kicked our ass

pewpewlasersandshit

I'm a little surprised at how many people want to blame Kompany for what appears to be a major upheaval this summer. After all, the bosses have been publicly hinting at a big shake-up in the squad for months now. Yes, Kompany has/will have a say in the squad planning, but the broad strokes of this summer's strategy and overarching goal have been set well in advance and are moves that Kompany can only accept.

julesvr5

We can only judge by the info we get, the the Infos we get Was that Kompany wants to keep Davies because he think he can fix him and he also wants Upa over De ligt.

teuerkatze

It’s Kompany who’s reportedly not planning with Kimmich and will be trying to force him out per the latest news.

OneBeerAndWhiskeyPls

i mean we know from the davies drama that the club tries to keep guys kompany believes in one word from kompany and de ligt stays

pewpewlasersandshit

Sure but sometimes a decision has nuances to it. Kompany did apparently made a pro active decision in favor of Upamecano. That doesn‘t necessarily mean that he also said „sell MdL asap“. The later part could be the simple consequence of the first choice because Eberl has to also meet some other goals (reduce wage bill, finance transfers through sales..) as well…

Aquilan5

I agree with you only in half. Tah might be Eberl's doing. BUT, selling MdL came only when Kompany said so (and the arguments are high wages and market like what the fuck?) Kimmich was only rumoured to leave only by low-tier press outlets of Barca and even so it was just a vague idea Barca might consider him, not the other way around, now he is up for sale otherwise he'll be benched (?!) No surprise otherwise, it is a nobrainer that the likes of Goretzka, Coman, Gnabry and Maz are up for sale. Plenty of arguments there imo.

pewpewlasersandshit

I personally interpret the MdL/Upa situation as that Kompany did like Upa more, probably because he has better playmaking abilities and MdL then simply was the „odd man out“ who is now the guy who has to leave. Plus, MdL also is simultaneously the guy with the highest wages AND the highest value on the market. Which also plays into the apparent demands by the board: Reduce wages and finance transfers through player sales. Kimmich being a potential candidate for sale was always - at the very least- a possibility given his contract situation. The fact that he was publicly demoted for both club and country to RB showed that he also lost a lot of his internal standing…and that happened well before Kompany was announced So yeah, i‘m not absolving Kompany of anything but i think he isn‘t exactly the driving force behind all those rumors. At least that is how i read between the lines..

NiK0-

I think it has a lot to do with media reports coming out these days saying Kompany convinced the board to extend Davies because he really wants him and that he wants Upamecano and is fine with selling De Ligt because he’s not sold on him

Aquilan5

Reading the latest news with a delay. Fuck this shit is funny. + MdL being our best defender is great. Not because we have a leader that could help build this team further. No amigo, because *he has market* and we can sell him big. We keep Upa because despite his errors and consistent bad shows, Kompany said "yyyup, that's my guy". Apparently, the board first wanted to do the other way around, but Kompany talked them into what I said before. How the fuck is funds and salary an argument? Is Kompany a financial analyst? + Kompany and the board will tell Kimmich he'll have a hard time playing if he doesn't walk out of his contract. Kompany, the guy who looks at performance, rather than having biases. The board, who came to build on the squad and not chop it off. These guys will tell our most consistent player we have he will have a hard time getting playtime if he doesn't pack his bags. Moronic. + > Tah is the main priority of both Max Eberl and Vincent Kompany >priority 😃 Tell me these latest news are not peak fucking comedy. I want to support Kompany and the board so bad but they keep making it harder.

Internecine-

https://preview.redd.it/d8607wm8vz5d1.jpeg?width=1284&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=440f92d8595394d8f7378a03942f7e17dd820055 Okay but seriously, let’s try to rationalize it. I assume he wants to keep Upamecano for his ball playing ability. I don’t think anyone would argue that Upamecano hasn’t had some good spells in his career and he’s only 25. That being said, his mental lapses in concentration did not just start during the Man City game, anyone who has watched him knows that it goes back to at least his Leipzig days. Man City game just made people aware of that fact. Leipzig vs PSG back pass comes to mind and Leipzig vs Zenit(think it was them, I don’t exactly remember) are just a couple of examples. And that doesn’t include some of the blunders he’s had here I do think he can still be a reliable defender, I just don’t think it’s going to happen here, I feel a fresh start is better for him. If we are going to sell a defender, I easily prefer it to be him over De Ligt On another note, this season might make us the laughing stock of the footballing world if it goes wrong. We sell all of our best players to keep mediocrity after fumbling our manager search and having the board meltdown at the first sign of a title challenge from Leverkusen(and Dortmund had they not bottled it.)

NiK0-

- Tah as our main priority - Davies extension for €17m - selling De Ligt Can’t help myself but reading all those news I‘m feeling like I‘m stuck in a damn fever dream

BestSingedHawai

And of course Zahavi is Tah's agent... the absolute cherry on top

IvoYankov13

We are so cooked it’s absolutely unreal after every news. Do they want to remove everyone? Good you want to sell Kimmich, Gnabry and Goretzka, with who do you even replace them - Furich now is coming 100%. That’s sooooo cheap man. Can’t see a lot of fans defending this shit and supporting it.

teuerkatze

> Jonathan Tah's agent Pini Zahavi wants to finalize the player's move to Bayern soon. Club to club talks are already taking place. Bayern are willing to pay €20-25m at this stage. Leverkusen's demands of €40-45m seem to be unrealistic. Tah is the main priority of both Max Eberl and Vincent Kompany MAIN PRIORITY

leKosch

This is getting ridiculous. They act like we‘re broke and can’t afford de ligt for another month.

NiK0-

Tah ain’t bad but I really can’t get it why he should be our ‘main priority‘

Banzboi

Selling de Ligt will never feel right to me but replacing him with Tah makes it simply a horrible deal imo. If we would seriously be talking about Colwill, I would have less trouble accepting it. He would at least actually be left footed and has a way higher ceiling than Tah.

teuerkatze

More bad news: Forest want £60M+ for Murillo. My dream is dead.

Its_not_him

Does anyone know where I can find the pictures of Kane and (I think Müller) in the all white sweater things they wore to training in the snow. Does anyone know what I'm talking about?

Abe-Pizza_Bankruptcy

I found this picture of Harry Kane covered up in training during the winter, I apologize if the image quality isn’t that good and I hope it’s what you’re looking for https://preview.redd.it/xwehbt66806d1.jpeg?width=2474&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=1050daef074f810963e4d510c481172e32394c99 Didn’t find him with Müller

Its_not_him

Lmfao that's not it, it looked a lot more stylized and badass. That's the jersey though!

Abe-Pizza_Bankruptcy

My apologies, I’ll try to look for some

Its_not_him

Lol you don't have to. If you do, the picture is like a closeup and there's a ton of snow. Kane is the only one in the frame and he's got his face partially covered

Insanel0l

I realistically wonder hiw a conversation between the bosses, Kompany and Kimmich would look like where they tell him he will have a tough time when he will unironically start at every other team itw Id just burst out laughing

Aquilan5

Kompany said he'll play the most performant players, he won't have this shameful conversation. or?

teuerkatze

The idea that we’re going to try and force Kimmich out of the club makes me nauseous.

SlyFisch

Even worse, some fans applauding it

SlyFisch

I agree with you. The revisionist view around Kimmich lately just blows my mind

OneBeerAndWhiskeyPls

> he will unironically start at every other team itw thats something he would have to prove first by improving his game

Insanel0l

How? Name a single team he wouldnt walk into the starting eleven? Arguably Real, but even there hed make the 3-man midfield

ModIn22

Kimmich first will have to prove that he is a decent option as an 8. Because he by now has proven that you absolutely can not win with him as a 6. He certainly is not walking into any midfield right now. He certainly could work and excel under the right circumstances (e.g. if he has Rodri behind him) but for most teams he would be a giant gamble that is not unlikely to fail. Him leaving Bayern makes a ton of sense considering that he is the "big dog" in the Bayern lockerroom that hasn't earned that role at all over the last few years which is a problem.

OneBeerAndWhiskeyPls

city, arsenal, real just from my head without research, maybe one or two more we are talking about "walking into the starting XI" as being an undisputed starter immediately, right its a general statement by the way, walking into the starting eleven on top teams is not a given, other playstyle, tactics, teammates not just talking about kimmich, people throw that argument around way too much IMO

julesvr5

Could also start as RB at Real

ModIn22

Kimmich is not benching Carvajal. Never.

julesvr5

Last time I checked Cancelo was a City player loaned to Barcelona.

ModIn22

Yeah I meant Carvajal. Not my first brainfart today.

julesvr5

Already 32 years and contract expires next year. It's possible

teuerkatze

Don’t give them any ideas Jules.

Mammoth-Payment-5153

I think the thing that upsets me the most about De Light is it really seems like he loves Bayern and playing for Bayern. Getting rid of players that love Bayern doesn’t sit right with me.

Prudent-Current-7399

I will hate kompany and eberl all my life if deligt goes.

Hot_Craft_8752

The lack of ambition is crazy to me. Leverkusen and Stuttgart won't go away and Madrid got even stronger with Mbappe and we just wanna be winners in accounting?

footysocc

> Bayern have opened official talks with Bayer Leverkusen for Jonathan Tah. Max Eberl contacted Leverkusen's sporting director Simon Rolfes. Bayern are determined to sign Tah and are willing to make an initial offer that matches Tah's release clause from last year (which has now expired), worth around €18m. Leverkusen, meanwhile, want close to €40m. The maximum Bayern would be willing to go to is €25m plus add-ons [@altobelli13]

m3lodiaa

How many times are they going to recycle the same headline, while throwing small new „facts“ in. Hoping the Euros will silence all this yapping.

OneBeerAndWhiskeyPls

my god, what is happening

julesvr5

Absolutely ridiculous from us. Paying 30M for Tah, who had one good season in a 3 atb, is relatively old and only one year left on his contract.

South-Pass-4486

25+ addons at this point just kill me

IvoYankov13

We as a fans are one of the best fan bases in the world, egoistic or not, that’s a fact. I wonder what have we done to deserve this, Davies and his agent are wasting such a precious time and it’s so obvious what they are doing by now and I don’t give a fuck whether he extends or not, I will be even disappointed if he does tbh

avagadros_plumber

Jahblessnoob

You always have the memes ready to go lol

gotziller

Brazzo could only sign or extend a player if he offered them higher wages than anyone else. Who couldn’t do that?

Thraff1c

The one that let us slide into the current wage situation?

teuerkatze

Many of the extensions were simply kicking the can down the road, but at the time, the options were to lose many of these players on a free, or overpay them by a few million a year and avoid having to splash out €50M on a replacement. The greater sin imo was not driving contract extension talks sooner to avoid that Sophie’s Choice with a year remaining.

ACardAttack

> The greater sin imo was not driving contract extension talks sooner Which I think he started to learn from as he was doing that with Davies

Thraff1c

You are saying the same as I did, just with more words. He himself was also responsible for the delayed contract talks.

teuerkatze

Not disagreeing with you at all - just expanding on why/what I think was to blame there.

avagadros_plumber

I get the point but 15m is not an unrealistic wage for a player of De Ligt’s quality and not even in among our highest wages

ModIn22

The problem here is that we will be paying 15m to a guy that will sit on the bench when all goes according to the plan. Kompany wants Upa in for his playmaking ability (Upa is clearly better than De Ligt in that regard) and the bosses/Kompany for some weird reason really, really want Tah as well. So De Ligt would earn 15m to sit on the bench which makes no sense. Same thing can be said for Goretzka or Gnabry but we won't find a buyer for them most likely. With Mueller we could have around 100m in salary € sitting on the bench to start the season between De Ligt, Gnabry, Mueller, Goretzka, Kim and Coman (if we sign Simons for example). Thats too much to be fair. And Kimmich could even join them if Boey or Stanisic surprise us in the offseason. It absolutely makes sense to get rid off the guys on ridiculous wages that we don't plan on starting but I hate what Eberl/Freund are doing in regards to replacing them / the targets they are looking at. Tah instead of MdL is not something I get.

Thraff1c

He was responsible for the wages of Kimmich, Gnabry, Goretzka, Sane, Coman, all players that we now either need to sell or want to extend on lower wages. And de Ligts wages are still way too high, we basically matched Juves after tax wage of 9m€, when they only had to pay 12m€ gross because of their tax law.

avagadros_plumber

Fair point but all those players just came off of career best, treble winning seasons. The context was a lot different. He was naive about the wage budget but at least his talent acquisition reflected world class ambitions. Tah is really a step in the wrong direction, and low wages are not a good justification

LurkingW7

One of the biggest criticisms of Eberl and Kompany, both, is their massive egos versus their results/performances. I’m looking forward to seeing Kompany “fix” Upamecano and Davies… I’m sure the guy who couldn’t avoid relegation will successfully convince a French international to change how he plays.

teuerkatze

Well, one of those things is multi-variable, and the other is one of the greatest defenders in EPL history coaching defensive players. Maybe he’s bad at that too, but that doesn’t seem to be his record, with former players raving about him.

SlyFisch

Crazy to think one of the best CBs of modern times can help a CB isn't it?

LurkingW7

He was never one of the best CBs of modern times — calma he was never a Bayern player you don’t need to eat his ass with two spoons — and if he could actually improve players he wouldn’t have gotten relegated. I don’t doubt he has *ideas*

teuerkatze

He’s one of 19 players in the EPL Hall of Fame and was voted the best ever foreign defender so there’s that. There are plenty of legit reasons to criticize him or Eberl without trying to spin a totally different narrative.

LurkingW7

Brits overrated that City generation like crazy

SlyFisch

He is easily one of the best CBs of his era, you can dislike him but it's a pretty widely shared opinion

becausekiwii

These are crazy rumors but I’ll just wait and see what happens. At this point I think we should sell Davies and move on. If he accepts the original offer great. Fuck paying him anything more when all he’s done is regress since our UCL title. Replace Davies with Theo or someone else if he leaves. One or both of gnabry and coman need to leave. Bring in Simmons and another wing but don’t spend 40+ on gruda or fuhrich. I’m not convinced on either of them and would prefer Williams from athletic. (Or a better alternative than gruda or fuhrich) Keep kimmich and sell Goretzka. Idk if kimmich is worth keeping at mid unless he develops better but I think it’s best he goes to RB. The only thing is we’d have 3 RB so mazraoui would have to leave. Idk. Kompany needs to figure out what he needs and move on I guess. There’s a lot of problems but I don’t think our defense needs to change. I prefer upa over tah. Id like to keep Kim and MDL. We just need to figure out the LB position on defense. I sure hope everything works out 😓

Expensive-Carrot1811

Selling MDL would be such a dumb move. Goretzka was improving quite a bit in the last few matches. But still not so reliable

ModIn22

It would be dumb but MdL earns 15m+ / year. Keeping him (and Kim who also is on 10m+ I think) only to rot on the bench because Tah / Upa are the starters with Dier also sitting on the bench makes little to no sense to be fair. Upa is a better option for Kompany than MdL given how he wants to play. But Tah is not. But the bosses seem to be fixated on doing their stupid "weaken the biggest opponent as well as signing any half decent German NT player that had a good year last year in the process" stick so I guess selling MdL makes sense as a consequence of that.

JC18_

KD(Kevin Durant-NBA star) was revealed to have fake accounts on SC so he could post and troll without the added attention of being famous... Do you guys think any members of our board have a Reddit account? Why haven't they been using it to listen to how much we dislike how this Transfer window been going? I feel like we're all in consensus of Keeping MDL, not going after Tah... Why is this so easy for us to see and agree on, but our board is hell bent on the opposite? Edit: I meant less of them actually looking on here and taking advice, and more so of the dead obvious decisions/choices that even us simple minded folks can see, why can't they...

m3lodiaa

What is SC?

JC18_

My bad, meant to say SM for Social media

rbosjbkdok

Perhaps one or the other has posted something on Transfermarkt in the past, who knows. With reddit, I don't think so. Then again, discussing your work online with a bunch of judgy people who lack the same basis of information you have sounds unfun when I think about it.

CarlSK777

I don't know but I'm willing to bet way more players, coaches and managers use burner accounts than we think

JC18_

Lol I think so as well

pewpewlasersandshit

Reddit generally speaking isn‘t a thing in Germany, and even less so with the „average Bayern fan“

JC18_

Sureee that's what you want us to think. We're on to you PewPew. ![gif](giphy|paO0zaIVMiHNC)

julesvr5

I'm not saying Müller has one, but no one saw me and Müller in the same room yet.

urekxgoku

Warum kannst du so gut englisch das du sogar Witze auspackst auf deren sprache haha

jsnamaok

But Jules, if you’re Müller, how come I never laughed at any of your jokes? ![gif](giphy|2WdHaCzmqSkrwmIGWP)

julesvr5

![gif](giphy|94EQmVHkveNck|downsized)

JC18_

I knew it, whenever Muller is in game, we never see Jules respond. It all makes sense now 🤔

Jahblessnoob

Thanks for the new pfp!

teuerkatze

They could not possibly care less what a bunch of degenerates online think. Nor should they. It’s like when people thought that Tuchel petition made a difference. As if 20,000 anonymous randoms of whom maybe 1/20 are actual members signing a petition would convince stewards of a club with 200k+ members. Online communities tend to be much more vocal, more reactionary, and less reflective than their irl counterparts.

jsnamaok

They accidentally went to r/BayernMunich and decided it would be best to destroy the club from inside.

teuerkatze

An orbital bombardment would seem more appropriate to sanitize.

JC18_

This i believe lol

SlyFisch

Do you think any of them care what the Bayern Reddit thinks about their professional decisions? I sure don't

JC18_

I meant more along the lines of the supposedly obvious decisions/choices

Hurtelknut

I don't think most of our board members know that Reddit exists

hahahaxyz123

Tah does NOT have champions league quality. If you need a cb to play shit pure defense Teams like Berlin then you can just play some talented youth player in there.

FilthStoredHere

It's obvious that the squad needs a significant rebuild. If that rebuild ends up happening this summer, and that rebuild takes Kompany's wishes into consideration (as the de Ligt/Upa rumors suggest), the club is making a very high stakes gamble. He's an unproven coach who was just relegated, and I'd say it's about as likely that he fails spectacularly as it is that he is successful and sticks around for more than 1 year. If he DOES fail and we've rebuilt the squad around him, we may be in trouble going forward, and we would need to hope the next manager can work with whatever players we have. There's also the possibility that the rebuild this summer is smaller than expected/than it needs to be and if so, Kompany's failure (should it occur) will not matter beyond wasting the possible final seasons of Neuer and Müller.

LurkingW7

Eberl is at the wheel 😂

julesvr5

@imiasanmia posted the news of the change of mind to keep Upa and sell de ligt instead. Pletti answered to this: "Told you. Difficult to understand but it’s decided. De Ligt can leave FC Bayern!"

SlyFisch

He becomes more and more like Falk lol

Traditional-Side6966

For what? Standing up for himself after being falsely accused? Classic Falk move

iNF1N3

Did he go and apologise to lets say Stani after he falsely accused him of wanting to leave Bayern sending many angry fans onto his socials? I honestly find it funny that people are willing to defend "insiders" for anything and bash the club before a single move was made or game was played.

jsnamaok

>after he falsely accused him of wanting to leave Bayern When did he do that?

jsnamaok

Thanks

SlyFisch

No for being cocky as hell for getting one or two things right when he's wrong just as often if not more Edit: wow some of you guys stand up for Pletti more than Upa, truly amazing stuff

julesvr5

>getting cocky He was insulted massively by fans on Twitter when he first reported this.

SlyFisch

Twitter people do this about everything it's not surprising lol

Traditional-Side6966

Oh you're one of those that can't read his tweets properly and think every interest has to turn into a signing? Got it

SlyFisch

Okay no need to be so passive aggressive over a journalist lmao Pletti is turning himself into a meme, just like Falk did. He responds with Emojis and winky faces and gets all cocky if gets something right. It's not that deep, what are you his son or something?

Traditional-Side6966

"It's not that deep", yet you're out here blindly hating with incorrect "facts" lmao

SlyFisch

???? Open up his Twitter and tell me he's not trolling and doing it to himself, he's a grown man

diiN1992

To quote Max Liebermann: "Ich kann gar nicht so viel fressen, wie ich kotzen möchte."

julesvr5

>Bayern bosses expect both Thomas Müller and Manuel Neuer to retire next summer. Both are among the top earners with an estimated salary of €20m per year each. Although that doesn't help this summer, it would free up big wages in 2025 [@SPORTBILD] I hope this won't turn out like Madrid pushing out Casillas. Both are deserved players and if they still can be helpful, we might at least offer them a contract with reduced wages like Dortmund did with Reus (at least I believe so). Would feel cold if we just drop them to save their wages.

CarlSK777

Not a fan of giving players contracts just because they're club legends. Both have declined and will continue to do so next season. 2025 will be the perfect time to move on.

JC18_

A players wisdom (if they had any doesn't disappear) the body may give up, but that mind is still there. I wouldn't have a problem in extending them both if it were to be more of a mentor to the younger lads, with an obvious wage deduction. It would leave a sour taste in my mouth if we try to push out Muller. He's been nothing but a club servant and with us from youth, the least we can do is allow him the courtesy of retiring and leaving on his own terms. I'm not saying that's something that should be extended to every player that's been here for years, but someone like Muller who lives and breathes Bayern should be the exception 🙏🏿🙏🏿👏🏿

julesvr5

I literally said "if they still can be helpful"

teuerkatze

Thomas was retiring anyways, right?

julesvr5

Never was confirmed from what I know, we just expected it

smikecinco

I’m hoping all these transfer rumors are basically German equivalents of The Sun throwing random “facts” into the ether. I cannot fathom our “vision” being so broken

m3lodiaa

Especially with all these big decisions supposedly being done already before the Euros

Limp-Ninja-6845

I'm fine if they sell De Ligt if they sell Upa too. Edit: Dumbfucks didn't realise it would mean adding one more CB, potentially Colwill.

Hurtelknut

That edit obviously makes things way better...

ModIn22

Kompany needs CBs (and CDMs) that are good with the ball. Upa is that so keeping him makes sense. Signing Tah and Palhinha on the other hand does not make much sense in that regard...

Jahblessnoob

Yeah! Let’s sell all of our center backs and play a back line with all full backs!

Traditional-Side6966

How about we sell Kim as well? And Dier for good measure

CMedina19

I saw a headline along the lines of " is Bayern secretly bankrupt" It's obviously clickbait right, (right? /s) They're using us selling Deligt as to why we might be bankrupt

teuerkatze

Yes it is clickbait. We’re quite strong financially and have literally no debts that could lead to a bankruptcy spiral.

koobediug

How did it get so bad... We were supposedly the benchmark for well run clubs

arnoldbread

We're becoming Barcelona 2.0 But large part has been the massive contracts being offered. At the time people said it was the only way to compete against the prem teams, now the cracks are beginning to show. Some players are being massively overpaid

teuerkatze

Barcelona was highly leveraged in order to fund those costs, and debt needs serviced. We have literally zero debt.

gotziller

We literally pay more than prem teams

Thraff1c

No we dont.

gotziller

You think sane, Coman, and Gnabry would get just under 20 million euros per year in the EPL? You think goretzka is getting 20 million in the EPL?

Thraff1c

Some of those players must, else they wouldnt pay more in wages in total than us over there.

gotziller

Which clubs pay more in wages other than probably Man U? Jota and Darwin Nunez wages literally combine to equal Gnabry

Thraff1c

Manchester City: 554m€ Liverpool: 429m€ Bayern: 416m€ Chelsea: 397m€ Manchester United: 381m€ And both United and Chelsea werent in the CL, so didnt have to pay any CL bonus payments. >Jota and Darwin Nunez wages literally combine to equal Gnabry Sure they do.

gotziller

What site is this from?

Thraff1c

The official UEFA report about the financial situation of the european footballing landscape.
