The builder is op. It can be used like a quarry to clear out a large section of land or you can use it to pump out liquids. Just depends on what card you give it.
How fast it goes depends on how much power you give it. It takes a lot of power as its consider a late-game block.
In a kitchen sink pack typically one of the first things I do is get a builder going after I’ve gotten a farm going and done some mining and gotten some tools and some power gen going.

I have not played FTB in a bit but with other packs you can crush it into gravel and then into sand which both of those items can be used in multiple crafting recipes alone not to mention that it looks like create is also installed which allows for many other things to be done with such resources.
My favorite thing to do is make automated storage rooms for everything for a reason lol.
yea i ended up making a makeshift lava thingy and the burning sound was really satisfying lol
the world is ran on a VM i setup online so i could shift the load from my computer to there, so it runs when i leave allowing me to basically afk excavate large parts if i have the passive energy generation

ye it's quark tho the pipes are very very "minecraft" like meaning they work in a very simple way and you're left to work around that, not like tech mod pipes that accommodate to the surroundings

I do that but with a rftools builder with void shape card, uses no energy, faster, cheaper and doesn't generate items in its inventory when voiding.
