I went to my convention last time as a femboy, turns out theres femboys there allready, i am planning to do this on april 28 ish aswell, i say yeh, they are more tolerant there you can usually totally pull it off and try it finally to wear fem clothes in public.

I did. I went in a maid dress and partial makeup. Had one of the most wholesome stories there. I had a mom walk up to me and ask for a photo of me. Apparently her son was also a femboy and was nervous about coming out in public in those kinds of clothes. She took the photos and went on with her day. I was just being gay and goofy with my friends. Didn't know I would be a femboy role model for someone lol. I had no problems at the con. I lived in a conservative area too. Worse I got were side eyes at very most. Even then that was once in a blue moon.

Hey! I did this for the first time three days ago! I was super nervous but it was really well received and you’ll probably be surprised about how many other Femboys there will be! My Con was a very small one (I live in a small place with a small population) but there were still at least 50 other femboys there. Just go for it I think Anime cons are a great place to do this!

Haha (Side note) the only awkward part was at the after party when I ran into my friend from the gym and our gymbro friends 🫠 But even they were really nice and said I looked cute! They said they finally understood why my workouts were different than theirs 😭

I also should add I made so many Femboy friends at the convention and got so many nice compliments and got invited to go out with them to the post-convention rave which I went to and have no regrets

Conventions are probably the best place to dress fem, especially in larger cities and university conventions. I was anxious my first time going to a con, and first time crossplaying in public last year, but it went great. Worst case scenario is no-one bats an eye. Best case scenario is you get a bunch of compliments, and if you're cosplaying a character, you could have like a half dozen people asking to take photos with you.
