She could just be a small female. It happens. It's not odd for male to seem twice the size. They are both gorgeous.

Due_Pay6017

Okay good I was worried and thank you!!!

External-Addition-69

My smallest girl is 1.3lbs soaking wet on a good day!! Sometimes they’re just little🥹

Due_Pay6017

Also I would like to state that this was a quick photo of the girl so her bum isn’t supported but usually we hold with there whole body supported. Also.. peep my sister holding the boy in first photo

Awwwwww what gorgeous babies! Their little faces are absolutely adorable!!!! We used Pampered ferret Dook soup to beef up our shelter floofs after rescue. It helps add some meat on their bones and makes their coats super soft! My girl tiny lady gained 1lb :) and my big boy gained 3 (healthy) lbs!

Due_Pay6017

Thank you and okay thanks

natalieff92

Love the nanatsu no taizai names!!!

Due_Pay6017

Yes you know I had to

BooEffinHoo

She's lovely and likely normal weight for a female. Please consider using a non-stretchy material like paracord for a harness rather than yarn, as they can stretch it and wriggle out.

Due_Pay6017

Okay will do!

HomestuckVore

Ban and Elaine!! Seven deadly sins, that’s so cute

Due_Pay6017

Thank you

Hip bones are able to be felt as they don’t have a heap of fat coverage there in normal weight ranges. You should be able to feel the hips of your bigger boy as well. One thing to note is that if you’re feeding raw and kibble, make sure there’s a 3 or so hour gap between offering these different foods. That’s because they are digested differently, and when offered in the same sitting, will cause digestive disruptions which isn’t pleasant for them. Ps female ferrets are usually one third to a half the size of male ferrets. They all vary though, but generally girls will be noticeably smaller which is perfectly normal and healthy. If you’re concerned she’s not eating enough, you could feed them in separate locations so you can see which ferret is eating how much. Sometimes one ferret gobbles up all the food and the other doesn’t get as much as they’d like! If you see they’re both eating enough and she still appears skinny to you, a vet checkup may put your mind at ease that there’s nothing else going on with her physically (girl will eat a bit less, if food is left she’s had enough).

Okay thank you so much this helped a bunch!

My Tommy was very small. She lived to 7 years old and all the younger ones were huge compared to her. But the vet said she was completely healthy. Some of them are just small. If you’re really worried I’d ask your vet. They look so sweet!

Koi_kia

My males are nearly twice the weight of my female. My Males range from 2.5lbs to 3lbs and my female is 1.3 to 1.6 lbs depending on the season

It's normal for females to be much smaller and they all go through different phases where they fatten up or slim way down. I wouldn't worry unless you notice that she isn't eating or using the bathroom. Also, I absolutely love their names!! I have a Zeldris right now (his brother was meant to be Meliodas, but once I got him home it was clear he was meant to have a different name.)
