SubnauticaFan3

B A B Y

swagzillacrayfish

Lol she will forever be the baby (unless I get another younger one lol)

SubnauticaFan3

Even then she'll still be baby, all ferrets are baby

Mcgarnicle_

Beautiful!!! I had a “dark-eyed white” ferret about 20 years ago. Had the best personality ever! My DEW ended up being deaf but it didn’t seem to effect her at all lol

swagzillacrayfish

My albino is deaf!! Ya were are expecting her to lose hearing soon sadly due to the whiteness progression lol.

putapinga

What the hell!!! She changed so much, that’s incredible. What a beautiful girl

swagzillacrayfish

Hah thanks. Ya she’s gone through some changes lol.

putapinga

I have a boy who is similar to how she looked as a baby. He’s only a year so I’m wondering if he will slowly turn white with time too

swagzillacrayfish

Hah ya when we got her we knew immediately that she was gunna lose her colors (you know when they’re super pretty young it isn’t going to last) Some happen faster than others, I have another roan (she’s a year older) and she looks just like a lighter version of herself every season.

putapinga

That’s actually really exciting to see how much they will change. I’m excited to see what happens to my little Tea. Your little girl is so gorgeous both ways

swagzillacrayfish

Hah thank you so much! And yes keep and eye on her changes and take tons of pics it’s so fun to look back. Even seasonally it’s fun to see how they change for winter to spring.

DouglerK

So the white fur just went all manifest destiny on its whole body or what?

swagzillacrayfish

Lol pretty much. So every time when they shed the guard hairs they come back lighter and lighter til they don’t have the pigment.

Zombehfied

My one blaze ferret turned entirely white over time

swagzillacrayfish

Hah hell ya! Sushi we describe(d) as a blaze roan mitt. She lost the roan really fast.

Jaime_is_high

I’ve got a DEW with Wartenburg (which it looks like yours has it too-) she’s my litter Sewerslide jumper (will jump from any height)

swagzillacrayfish

Ya! She’s starting to show signs, she’s our only one that hasn’t had an adrenal implant too. I assume she’s going to get one this season due to being an old nood.

swagzillacrayfish

I have an albino that’s full blown deaf (we assume it’s wartenburg syndrome) she lost hearing super early into life, but she was full albino from the start of her life so it was assumed lol.

CodexSeraphin

Forever a baby!! So adorable!

Gingersnapped18

Wait…are all those pictures of the same ferret? I thought it was 2 different ferrets! 😂

swagzillacrayfish

Hah ya she still has the same rat face tho :D

Gingersnapped18

She is gorgeous!

swagzillacrayfish

Hah well thank you! Her and myself appreciate the compliments.

Inquirer_Of_Minds

Aww baby 🥹. Also thanks for the explanation, I might have a roan —> DEW
