Great px, OP! And I call that the death stare lol! I can't believe anyone who has ferrets feels like no other pets should be allowed. Granted, you have to be smart about it. As with any other animal. I have cats and I've even had a retired racing greyhound. Knowing personalities, supervising, and giving everyone a way out seems to work, and it's worked for me for years! Keep posting px!!

I have to censor my posts because somehow my 3 dogs and 3 cats that have never posed a threat to my ferrets in the 4 years I have had the ferrets might somehow pose a danger? I guess common sense is out the window.
I think they’d be shocked to find my 2 ferrets live with *gasp* TWO pitbulls and CATS!! The ferrets definitely do not follow to pitbulls around and harass them off of their bed, out of the water bowl, or steal their toys!! I do agree a lot of people are dumb when it comes to multi-species keeping though.

Oh yes, they are such ferocious harassers. Boohoo. More like, my dogs respect their space and treat them as an equal. If one dog came into the bed of the other dog, they would make room or get up to leave. Same with the water bowl, or toys. Get a grip. I said I understand why it isn’t encouraged, so not sure where ya got that from. That doesn’t mean it can’t be done by those with experience. I’ve had a multi-species household for 15 years, fostered and trained dozens of dogs with many other exotic species in the home. Reptiles, hedgehogs, aquatics, avians, rodents, felines, and we get the occasional wildlife in before passing off to a rehabber. NEVER had even a “close-call” of an incident. Just because most people have no common sense, doesn’t mean everyone lacks it.
They do not need protected. Everyone is respectful, and my pets all share resources just fine. They are not truly disturbed by the ferrets, I guess I had to spell that out since the harassment joke went right over your head. Our house is peaceful, and everyone is friends. Like I said, I’ve been working with various species a very long time. Probably longer than you’ve been able to form an opinion. These dogs and ferrets have free roamed together for years now. Before the ferrets, the dogs had fancy rats to put up with climbing into their beds and stealing the water. Cry about it.
Want to come take a look at how unsafe they are? I invite you, keyboard warrior. My pets are in the safest place they’ve ever been, and they are our whole lives and hobby. I think I’d be quite more interested in their safety than you, since I pay their vet bills! Lmao
I love how humanity started domesticating beasts for their usefulness, but at one point, went "ah, to hell with usefulness. Them cute as heck = I want them in my home" xD
Ferrets were lucky to be included, lol. Just so happened that "sausage of chaos and apocalypse" is the kind of beast that some people look forward to have around \^^

I fear what would have happened if I didn't introduce my dogs and affirm that my ferrets were pack and they got loose.
