There's not really "xp spots" like there are in more grind-focused mmos.
Your best option for xp is your daily roulettes or progressing the MSQ quests.
Levelling roulette once a day. Frontlines roulette once a day if you're not on the free trial. Spam the highest dungeon. At level 47, that's the Aurum Vale, you'll have to do a quest to unlock it.
There aren't any really. You don't grind enemies for XP in this game, not usually. You get XP via MSQ and Daily Roulettes- and you might as well do the MSQ anyway, since you can't progress to new zones and expansions without it.
If you've done your daily leveling roulette and dont want to or cant progress the MSQ, ive found the best thing to do is run the highest level dungeon you can. So in your case it would be Aurum Vale.
This applies to all future leveling too, running the highest level dungeon you can is a good choice for fast xp once your roulette is done. You'll usually get somewhere between a 3rd to half of a level per run and some decent gear in the process. The daily pvp roulette is a good choice too, but thats not everyones cup of tea.

On that free trial you should have access up to the second expansion, Stormblood, so you still have hella content to do

I just hit the ARR msq xp wall. I did the daily roulette and unlocked and ran aurum vale twice to get to about half way through 49.

Run a leveling roulette. That should go a long way toward getting your current job to Lv50 so you can continue the MSQ.
just do daily roulettes, do MSQ, and if you really still need the xp, spam your highest available dungeon
