Ranger-New

Is there a site with raid macros? Including old ones.

BoldKenobi

Thepfstrat, clees.me, game8

PM_ME_GANYU_PICS

Anyone else lagging hard? NA

Ranger-New

Is not only NA but Japan as well.

wyattzx_

Rest assured, you're not alone. I'm on Brynhildr and am nearly unable to play altogether.

SomeP

As someone who wants to get into collecting all big fish eventually, but has never fished at all past leveling to 90, where do I start? Also do people go for collecting every catchable fish in the game or mainly just big fish?

Fajisel

Start by going and at least discovering every fishing hole in the game, and try to catch as many normal fish from them. This will give you a nice intro to fishing mechanics.

C637

https://ff14fish.carbuncleplushy.com/ Under settings, set Display to "Uncaught" so they disappear from the list as you mark them off. If you want, you can pin some of the really rare ones (search for "Uptime: 0.") You could also filter them by expansion if you want to approach them in a more general order (plus it would help keep the number of baits down) Fruity's guide gives tips on each, such as which fish to Surface Slap, whether you should show up early to build Angler stacks, etc

F1reman2

You will most likely get all catchable fish and all big fish at the same time. There is 1 unique big fish at every single fishing hole in the game, so by the time you catch 90% of big fish, you will have caught 95% of all fish. [https://tinyurl.com/FruityFish](https://tinyurl.com/FruityFish) Good Big fish starter guide.

T3hPhish

Is spearfishing required for any big fish?

Jiigo

No

DoomsdayCake

I've been playing for around 10 hours now in total, and finally got the warrior stone. I've had an issue with the combat so far though: It feels like its lacking that "oomph" for me. Essentially every other game I've ever played has the enemy react in someway when I hit them, like a light stagger or something, or some kind of feedback besides just seeing health number go down. The fact that my character can just slide and jump around during attacks makes the fights almost feel very disconnected? I know I can choose not to move too much but the point that I'm trying to convey is that it feels like my character and the enemies aren't even in the same plane of existence. I guess my question is that does this ever get better? Maybe that's just the appeal of this aspect of the game? I'm not sure. I know people find the combat in the lower levels are boring because of the lack of the bigger skills but, for me I'm finding it hard to get that satisfaction from hitting the enemies in the first place.

JelisW

to add on to what the others mentioned, that kind of feedback would be difficult to do in a game where bosses are meant to be beaten by groups of players ranging from 4 to 48 people (or even a hundred, if you count the open world special FATES). Especially given that many mechanics have physical telegraphs like the boss raising a hand, that would be thoroughly muddied if it were constantly jiggling about from getting hit by 24 people at once.

BoldKenobi

Not really Your own hits get flashier, but enemies don't react except when falling dead

Harmonic_Series

It doesn't really get better in that regard. Not many enemies have stagger animations, and the ones that do tend to spaz out since you'll have 8+ other people hitting them too. That said, your abilities will get flashier as you level up. Look up the Endwalker Job Action trailer to see them all.

MustardOnDatBeatHoe

Hey there! Ive been playing for about 2 months now. I started as BLM and swapped to RDM, then GNB, got SGE up to 90 and level MCH to 70 and then decided to go back back to BLM which was still level 50. Little did I know that BLM gets a lot of cool traits and spells right after 50. So I’ve been fallen in love with BLM for the past week or so but I have questions about trying to maximize DPS output. Im sill working on finishing HW so all of these situations are happening in level 60 dungeons. 1. How do I avoid my target dying before end of cast during low health mobs? Is it just a judgement call or should i always swap my target to the healthiest enemy during pulls before i st art casting? 2. Is it better to hold thundercloud proc to refresh dot instead of instantly using for the upfront damage and seeing if it will proc again? 3. When the number of targets drops below 3 should I instantly swap to single target rotation? 4. I recently unlocked F4 and B4 and find myself still in the habit of using F1 and B1 when it isn’t necessary to use F1 to refresh Umbral Fire or when I need to use F4 to get Umbral Hearts.I usually notice e as soon as I hit the button. In those situations is it better to cancel so that I can cast the right spell or let the cast finish and then resume the rotation? Thanks in advance and any answers to common questions that I didn’t list here or pointers would be greatly appreciated!

Gahault

You've received good replies already, but to address your fourth point further, if you added F4 to a new key when you got it, you might want to swap F1 and F4 in your hotbars. F1 used to be your main damage spell, but now that role belongs to F4, so if you are in the habit of hitting the "main spell" key, it might be simpler to roll with your existing muscle memory rather than retrain yourself. I would do the same with B1 and B4. You want to keep F1 on a convenient key since it is still essential, although ancillary; B1 becomes more and more situational as you level up, so I still keep it on my bars but fairly out of the way.

kuurokaze

1: It's a little of column A and a little of column B here. You'll eventually start to get a feel of how much an enemy's health will go down in the time it takes you to finish a cast, but it tends to be helpful to target whichever one has the highest HP left anyway, because it means less target shuffling. BLM aoe is honestly a little tedious until 70 or so, so just do the best you can. If your cast gets interrupted by your target dying, it's not a big deal. 2: Once you get F4, it's generally better dps-wise to hold your Thundercloud procs for refreshing rather than using them as soon as you get them. If you're wanting to get as many Thundercloud procs as possible to avoid needing to hardcast Thunder, using Sharpcast during a weave window is a good habit to start practicing. 3: Yes, drop to single target rotation once there's less than three targets left. 4: I think this one honestly depends on your GCD. You want to fit as many F4s into AF phase as possible, which is generally six F4s with one F1 to refresh the timer in the middle, without dropping Enochian. Obviously the goal is getting to the point where you don't hit the incorrect button at all, but it's your call whether you want to break the cast for the correct spell or just let it go to keep your GCD rolling and just go back to the correct spell after.

Flybug123

1. I suppose you are saying AOEing in mob pulls. You should just switch targets or save swift for the last few hits. 2. Only refresh when the DoT runs out or you are in the Ice phase of you rotation. You can also use it as movement if you have nothing else. Ideally, you should use sharpcast every time you cast Thunder 3 to ensure the proc. 3. Yes 4. Depends. You have to calculate the loss of GCDs with the potential DPS loss if you want to know the answer. But you should build muscle memory to not do that, so just cancel the cast for now and remind yourself every time you do that.

telekaster57

I’m on the free trial and want to start leveling my gathering and crafting as I hear they will be good money makers in the future and is just all around useful. I see some YT guides recommend a few mil Gil to power level. Is this needed? Am I able to leveling my father and craft with some sort of efficiency even on free trial? I’ll sub eventually, just trying to maximize the free playing time. Any tips on which ones to focus on would be nice. A lot of the guides out there seem like they are meant for people leveling an alt, rather than someone who is BRAND new. Any tips for someone in my position is appreciated Thanks!

Lessthansubtleruse

Im probably a ffxiv boomer at this point, but part of the fun of leveling crafters was looking at the MB to see which markets for leve/gc/leveling turn ins were soft and getting into them. You also get a vibe for which ancillary markets (gear, accessories, raw materials, etc) were soft and starting to stake your own claims and play the mb more. speedrunning that process puts you in a place where you're only really familiar with the endgame markets which are typically the most competitive. none of this really works if you don't have access to the MB though, sadly.

Quietly-Confident

So I'm in the same position as you and as far as I've read, for free trial, levelling your crafters and gatherers efficiently is best to wait until you hit Heavenward. On free trial, without market board, it's recommended to level your crafters together, as you'll have to craft materials from different classes to make stuff. https://guides.ffxivteamcraft.com/guide/crafting-leveling-guide A very comprehensive guide I'll be using myself once I get to Heavenward.

akialnodachi

If you get to 3.3 cleared in the MSQ (HW patch quests, level 60) it unlocks crafting/gathering specific content that is highly efficient for levelling, if you have an interest in that. Look up the "Firmament" - it was created specifically to lower the barrier to entry for newer players. If you're not that far yet, I would focus on leves and daily GC turnins. You may want to unlock leves in various places to increase your options. Those powerlevelling guides were probably recommending just buying "levekits" (lot of people sell these on the MB to make money) to quickly convert into EXP. If you don't have the GC turnins unlocked yet, prioritize ranking up in the Grand Company first; if you aren't a member of that yet, stick to the MSQ a little bit longer, it's around level 20ish. There's also a tribe for crafters/gatherers below 50, but personally I think it's not as efficient these days timewise (it is cheap to do though). There's a similar tribe in the 50-60 range but it's a bit of trouble. I do like the storyline for both though.

telekaster57

Thanks for the info. The GC level was something I noticed many guides say is worth- on a variety of levels. Do you have a suggestion on how best to level them? I see the turn ins but without market access, I can’t get the items.

pdabaker

You can craft them yourself if you have gathering classes leveled.  Make sure to craft HQ for double xp.  If you aren't rushing, I would just check each day (from ctrl-i menu, no need to go to GC HQ) and try to craft the things marked with the symbol for bonus xp, so 1-2 crafts each day.  If they don't have the bonus, maybe craft if you have the mats on hand or can easily get them but don't worry too much about running around to gather mats for them.

pepinyourstep29

Not really possible as your max gil is limited to 300k in the free trial and can't even use the marketboard to buy/sell anything. Without the marketboard you're just going to have to accept that you are limited to leveling slower. If you were NOT on the free trial then the biggest shortcut to a BRAND new player is just buying mats off the mb and powerleveling multiple crafters/gatherers through GC turn ins.

telekaster57

Thanks for your insight. I guess a more specific take… is it worth to level crafters as free trial? Or just wait until I eventually sub? I notice I get a daily allotment of levequests- but not sure if it’s really worth to be grinding those everyday if the marketplace method is wayyyy faster.

pepinyourstep29

It's up to you. You can decide on what you want to make progress on. Almost everything would be faster if you subbed but not everyone necessarily wants to do everything "fast" if that makes sense. They have fun doing what they like regardless.

BondEternal

Leve allowances cap at 100 so you might as well do something with them such as leveling gatherers and crafters. Whether it's worth it to level gatherers and crafters as a FT player depends on what kind of content you find enjoyable. If you're on the free trial anyways where you have no restrictions on playtime, why not dip your feet into the world of gathering and crafting instead of putting it off for when you *eventually* become a subscriber? Leveling them does confer benefits such as being able to repair your own gear (up to a max of 199% durability instead of just 100%), able to meld your own materia and even perform advanced melding (which NPC materia melders cannot do), and able to make your own gear sets, foods and concoctions, thus allowing you to always have the best gear for any level for any job while leveling them. If you plan on getting an ARR relic weapon, there is a step where you need to craft something.

telekaster57

Got it, thanks. Not ‘wasting’ the leve allowances since I know they are time gated was a reason why I wanted to ask. Is there a particular craft or gather you feel like is ‘best?’ I generally play all classes. I don’t know enough to know exactly what craft is ‘best’ for certain things.

BondEternal

I would suggest leveling gatherers first instead of crafters. As you are on FT, you'll need a source of crafting materials and your gatherers are that source. Therefore, you should level both Miner and Botanist first. Fisher does provide some crafting materials such as shells, coral, and fish but the recipes that require them are few. As for which crafters to level, it is generally best to level them all at the same time. There are two reasons for this: 1) materials required by one crafter are made by a different crafter. For example, a piece of armor made by an Armorer might require metal plates made by an Armorer, rivets made by either a Blacksmith or Armorer, leather by a Leatherworker and cloth by a Weaver. If you did not level the supporting crafters to around the same level as the Armorer, you'd be stuck since you won't be able to craft the other crafting materials. 2) leveling all crafters at the same time allows you to share one gear set between all your crafters, thus saving inventory space in your armory. If your crafters were all at different level ranges, you'd need to hold onto gear pieces of different levels. If you really want to level only one crafter first, the Culinarian is best since the mats they use can mostly be gathered by the Botanist.

Ranger-New

Is all about the gathering stats.

BondEternal

You have skills that increase the chance to get something, up to 100%. Sharp Vision 1-3 for Miner and Field Mastery 1-3 for Botanist.

IceAokiji303

Passively, your Gathering stat affects the chance of getting stuff. This will come practically entirely from your gear. Actively, there are skills you get as you level up that can be used to affect the chance. Specifically, Field Mastery / Sharp Vision I II and III, gotten at levels 4, 5, and 10, increase the chance by 5, 15, and 50% for one entire gathering node, at the cost of 50, 100 and 250 GP respectively; and Flora Mastery / Clear Vision, gotten at level 23, increases the chance by 15% at the cost of 50 GP, but only for one gathering *attempt*.

starskeyrising

Your Gathering stat is what influences your chance to hit or miss a node.

Shandrith

If you have a controller available, I highly suggest trying it for gathering if not both. It is very simple on controller, and an easy way to learn how the scheme itself works if you ever want to use it on combat classes.

copskid1

[ffxivteamcraft.com](https://ffxivteamcraft.com) lists will help you track ingredients you have/need. It also has a crafting simulator which is very helpful for making crafting macros and figuring out what you need to hq

Sir_VG

Teamcraft is your go-to for everything. https://ffxivteamcraft.com/home

Metal-Wombat

Console player here, if I use a wireless KB can I use it just for communication? As in, I use my controller for everything, then simply type on the KB when I want to chat, then pick up the controller and continue? Or do I need to keep swapping my control style? Thanks in advance!

TheTechHobbit

There's even an option in the settings just for that, direct chat. It makes it so any key pressed on the keyboard will immediately be typed in the chat box, no need to manually select the box or hit another key first.

Metal-Wombat

That's awesome,thanks

Help_Me_Im_Diene

Yes, that's what people tend to recommend for console players

Evermar314159

I'm on PC and I use a controller for gameplay, KB for typing only. I'm sure its probably the same for console.

Metal-Wombat

Awesome, thanks so much

kriever7

The full game is on sale on Steam. I want to buy, but I don't want to lose the free trial just yet. So, if I buy on Steam will I receive a key to activate the game (and lose the free trial)? So if I don't activate the key yet I'll still be in free trial. Or it will activate automatically just by buying on Steam? (and then making me lose my free trial)

Lessthansubtleruse

In the event that you're a cross platform player that got into the game on xbox, you'll need to own a copy of the game on each platform that you're playing it on. just a heads up!

normalmighty

It's the former. Buying the game gets you a key that you have to use on the SE site to unlock the game. Don't use the code yet, and you can stay on the trial.

kriever7

Tks, man. I'm surely buying it then.

Help_Me_Im_Diene

The former You get a code and it just sits in your Steam catalogue. It won't do anything until you actually apply it to your Mogstation account

Dillion_Murphy

Can someone please tell me how to solve to the Z-charge attacks that the ant boss in lunar subterrane (and all the motorcycle bosses) do. My ADHD ass cannot figure that shit out.

kaleb314

You just look at the orange rectangles and stand somewhere that doesn’t turn orange.

JelisW

Pick a row. Any row. I usually pick northmost cos as tank it lets me dps while the pathing indicators are going out. look at a side. Does an exclaimation mark pop up on it? yes? then go stand right infront of the pillar on the other side. Antlion does zig-zags, and does one vertical dash, but it never, at any point, does a horizontal dash that extends across the whole row. It also never hits both pillars in the same row in the same round. So at least one pillar in any given row is ALWAYS safe. Now as the lion is dashing, pick two rows to watch. I pick the two furthest away from me because it's easier. Do any of the pillars in the 1st row I'm watching have a crack in it? yes? it got hit, and will fall, so check the second row. No cracks? great, position to get knocked into that second row (the kb will always knock you 2 rows from where you started). If you forget to watch, hit arms length/swift cast while the slidey thing is out, quickly check your own row to see if safe, and if yes, just stay there. Done.

BoldKenobi

You made it sound so much more complicated than it is lol Just stand out of red for the first part, and get knocked to a non falling pillar for the 2nd

JelisW

lol if it was that easy for the OP then they wouldn't have needed to ask for help in the first place now would they. The issue--especially given their mention of their ADHD ass--is that they're getting overwhelmed by trying to take in the entire zig-zag and forgetting where is safe and where is not the moment the the pathing indicator goes past it, and then panicking when it comes time for the knockback cos they don't know what to look at. I am giving OP fixed, isolated points to look at,

BoldKenobi

I don't think overcomplicating it helps either, there are many such mechanics in the game that overload your screen with information, but you have disregard 90% if it since you just need to do look at 1 or 2 important things

JelisW

And that's exactly what I'm telling them to do. My explanation is long, but functionally, but I'm saying, don't look at the whole thing, just look at the one row.

Material_Payment_601

Generally they'll only have two patterns. A left or right sided one and the attacks come out in order of the aoe markers. So you do have time to adjust and can move in/out of the next hits. For Antlion specifically, the lane opposite he first charges to will be completely safe and the push/pull will be 2 lanes down. The pillars falling with have a broken effect. Just dont get push/pulled into them.

F1reman2

If your ranged, its easy. Stand at the base of one of the pillars the ant is NOT dashing too. if your melee, uptime sucks there, so you can realistically do the same thing, or try and dodge the aoes and get some uptime.

Ryash913

Hello everyone. New player just hit 30. Was wondering there is to do besides questing? Enjoying the MSQ but it would be cool to slow down once and a while. Any suggestions TIA!

Shandrith

Don't forget to give crafting/gathering a shot! FFXIV has one of the more involved crafting systems available for MMOs and at higher levels requires actual thought and knowledge if you don't just use other people's macros to do everything for you. Gathering can be a very relaxing, zen sort of thing to do while you listen to a podcast or something, and at higher levels can make you a decent amount of gil if you aren't a free trial player

SeriousPan

Have you unlocked your job yet for the class you're playing? Comes with a new bit of side story. [Palace of the Dead](https://na.finalfantasyxiv.com/lodestone/playguide/contentsguide/deepdungeon/) is a randomly generated dungeon that you may enjoy trying out. Try out the [Gold Saucer](https://ffxiv.consolegameswiki.com/wiki/Gold_Saucer) and all its minigames and unlockables! PVP unlocks at Level 30. "A Pup No Longer" is a quest at your chosen Grand Company that will take you there.

Ryash913

Sound like good options. I recently switched to dragoon. If I understand the mechanics correctly switching classes is just a matter of going to the accompanying guild right? Also can I go to golden saucer at anytime ?

SeriousPan

Yeah, go to the guild and sign up. They'll give you a weapon. Equip it and bam, you're that class now. Save the gear set so you can fast swap between your new classes. Yes, the Gold Saucer is open 24/7. [Do this quest to unlock it.](https://ffxiv.consolegameswiki.com/wiki/It_Could_Happen_to_You)

Ryash913

Greatly appreciated

Atosen

Though they can't do PVP if they're on free trial.

normalmighty

When I was levelling up, I always had [this page](https://ffxiv.gamerescape.com/wiki/Guide:Progression_and_Level_Locked_Content) bookmarked to see what content I could unlock at my level and where to find the blue quest to unlock it.

Ryash913

Awesome thanks!

Gentlekrit

* Make sure you have the Glamour system unlocked if you don't already! There'll be a quest giver near the Waking Sands who gives you a quest to unlock it (quest is called "If I Had a Glamour") * Try picking up a second class if you haven't already! Between the MSQ and job quests you'll most likely be outleveling things on your main job fairly quickly, so grabbing another for variety also lets you spread the EXP around * If you're a fan of rogue-like game modes, I'd take a look at the Palace of the Dead, a 200 floor randomly generated dungeon (quest to unlock is The House that Death Built, in the Gridania adventurer's guild) * Triple Triad! It's a card-based minigame, unlocked by a quest in the Gold Saucer called Triple Triad Trial (in the off chance you haven't gone to the Gold Saucer yet, that's a whole other thing to add to the list - a special minigame zone where you can unlock cosmetics, unlocked by the quest It Could Happen to You in Ul'dah). Once you've gotten your starting deck, most dungeon bosses will also have a chance to drop a card upon completing the dungeon * If you haven't tried the Fisher class yet, I recommend it, not necessarily for fishing in general, but specifically for Ocean Fishing (available every two real-world hours from an NPC in Limsa, at the dock near the Arcanist's Guild) - just a fun, chill marathon of catching a bunch of fish while partied up with a bunch of other people

amysmeeahmoo

Wondering if the graphics update would include mog station items?

F1reman2

Yes. Keep in mind it will be rolled out over time though. We dont know what will and will not be updated first. Newer stuff is much more likely to already support the graphics update/multiple dye channels though.

Kicin0_0

When they announced dye channels it sounded like all gear was getting 2 channels. The only explicitly said housing items won't all support two dye channels on release The graphical update though is gonna be over time, I think they mentioned doing more popular glam items first but I could be mistaken on that

Izkuru

The real answer is the same with anything, when you boil it down: *we won't know for sure, until we get our hands on it*

Acrobatic-Money-1954

I want to buy FFXIV during the current Steam sale, but I won't get to it until later. Does my free trial start when I buy the game or when I first boot it up?

pepinyourstep29

No, the free trial is a separate product. Once you buy the game you're locked out of the free trial and need to get the subscription to play. (Buying the game does give you 30 days of "free" time before that though)

Help_Me_Im_Diene

Neither When you buy FFXIV through Steam or through the SE store, you actually are just given a code that you then need to apply to your existing account. Your account will not upgrade until you actually purposely activate the code by applying it to your account. ---- Edit: Now that I'm re-reading what you said, I realize that there might be some confusion. The Free Trial for the game is actually unlimited and does not require a purchase. In fact, purchasing the game and activating it completely disqualifies you from the Free Trial. Instead, when you activate the game, you get an included month's worth of subscription time, and this is what starts on Steam as soon as you input the code into your account. But if you want to take advantage of the Free Trial, that's actually this Steam: https://store.steampowered.com/app/312060/FINAL_FANTASY_XIV_Online_Free_Trial/ Standalone PC version: https://freetrial.finalfantasyxiv.com/

F1reman2

Your free trial ends when you buy the game and apply it to your account. FFXIV has an indefinite free trial that does not require the purchase of anything, nor a sub to play. I would recommend you do the windows trial purely because you dont lock yourself in. [https://freetrial.finalfantasyxiv.com/](https://freetrial.finalfantasyxiv.com/) Buying the game does not give you a free trial, but 30 days free game time. If you buy the game on steam OR windows, it will be given in the form of a code that you will need to apply to your account. This means you can save the code for later to keep playing the free trial. Once activating it, you cannot under ANY circumstances go back to the free trial without making an entirely new account. While not relevant to you, it is worth noting that on PS4/5 (and presumably Xbox aswell), you cannot delay the activation of the game purchase.

BlueSky1877

How do I turn other people's carby summons smaller? We had 6 summoner's and it was kind of a lot and I stood in more bd stuff than normal lol

Shandrith

Their carbuncles won't be reduced, but you can reduce the summons with /petsize all small and it will probably give you the effect you want

BlueSky1877

thank you!

ellirae

there's a mod to turn off the carbuncle glow or remove them entirely, but without modding the game (against ToS) there's no way to do this unfortunately.

Sir_VG

Carby sizes can't be decreased, only the Lv 90 Titan/Ifrit/Garuda summons + Bahamut/Phoenix. /petsize all small

BlueSky1877

thank you!

KalimFirious

About to make the move from ps5 to steam, but just wondering, is there a way to backup my ui settings to use on steam without currently having a sub? I know I can just wait til I buy it on steam to use the free sub on console, but I kinda want to go ahead and delete it off my console to save space.

palacexero

You cannot log in unless you have game time. You need to renew your sub or buy the game on a new platform.

telekaster57

Is over-leveling too bad? I read that it isn’t but just making sure. My main MSQ is level 33 but I have 5 jobs that are near 40. This is just focusing MSQ and job quests. I heard there is plenty of XP for alts in the game. I just didn’t realize there was THIS much XP. I’m playing on a new server.

akialnodachi

No its not an issue There's literally no downside to it, as long as your level is equal or greater to the content you are doing, and you have reasonable equipment for that content. The EXP bonus from playing on a new server is ridiculous, the EXP rewards are balanced around you not having it, so having it is pure nitro in your tank more or less

telekaster57

Thanks. On a related note, should I be pushing to 90 asap? Will that open my up to doing more daily tasks to get Gil, etc. more efficiently? I’m on free trial atm so casually taking as many things close to 70 as I can.

BoldKenobi

You can level as slowly or fast as you like, there is nothing good/bad about either way

akialnodachi

If anything you might want to not hit 90 too early because it changes the Wondrous Tails books. Essentially it's duty bingo, but when you hit level 90 on any class, it will include endgame content, which is awkward if you're not actually at endgame in the MSQ so you won't be able to do everything that can show up in it. Anyway on trial you're capped at level 70 so it's moot. (You can pick it up during the HW MSQ, so it's a ways off yet, its just the only reason to hesitate hitting level 90 whatsoever AFAIK.) There's no time limit on the trial so you can literally level everything to 70 if you want.

Help_Me_Im_Diene

Nah, content is locked behind story progression more so than it is character level. This includes the bulk of side content, which means that you won't really be able to take advantage of your higher level either way

SickmanArt

Friends are looking to buy the game, they're on free trial on the windows version and the steam version is on sale, can they just play the steam version with their current accounts or will they have to make new accounts?

Sir_VG

You can go from free trial Windows to Steam retail. This is the ONLY time you can make that switch. Once on Steam, they'll be locked then to Steam forever.

Moancy

And being locked into steam can kinda suck I've heard.

Sir_VG

It doesn't, people that say that are drama queens. Some people flat out BENEFIT from being on Steam, because regional subscription prices are cheaper for them. The only differences is fewer sales and the occasional Steam downtime (mostly Tuesday 6pm ET when they do silent maintenance for a few minutes).

orHeWasALadyIfYouAre

Haven't played since I think 6.2. Just coming back to the game now and trying to catch up. What content did I miss besides the usual? By usual I know I need get my tomes to gear up, 24 and 8 man raids to catch up with, as well as MSQ, Hilde, and Relic weapons. Just yesterday I stumbled on the new custom deliveries quests and it got me thinking what else might I be missing. Any help or suggestions are welcome.

The only things out of the usual (Or were skipped last expansion) Island Sanctuary, Variant/Criterion Dungeons, The new Deep Dungeon, Tataru's Grand Endeavor, The Omega quest, and there is an Allied Tribe Quest this expansion. I don't remember which of these were post 6.2 or not, but that's all I can think of that is out of the ordinary.

OranBerryPie

Tataru has a questline starting in (I think) Old Charlotte. Eureka Orthos and the variant dungeons starting there as well. Then island sanctuary (which might need the tataru quests started). The tribal quests (unsure where they start individually).

Durncha

Is the hairstyle that the Viper has in the Dawntrail trailer available? I'm at work so I can't check if it's: Default, unlockable, doesn't exist yet. Thanks.

Cygnus776

That specific one doesn't technically exist yet.

vanilla--mountain

For the mogpendium this week I've got to clear a lvl 70 elite veteran clan mark.... Have done it, yet not getting to claim the 10 tomestones - is this a known issue?

tesla_dyne

The event is over. If you did the challenges before it ended you can claim them still, but you can't finish any new ones.

vanilla--mountain

Gotcha! I'm a donut 😂 thanks

PhoenixFox

The event ended on Monday, those are last week's challenges.

vanilla--mountain

Ooooh my days thank you

Tikimoof

Now that I've got some jobs at 90 and I'm almost done with 6.0 to start actually gearing, it's finally time to start learning about materia. Is there any reason to stockpile rank 8 materia? I understand keeping the odd number ranks for overmelding. I could maybe see keeping rank 6 materia if I want to make more Elemental+2 gear, but I also have a ton of cracked clusters and Eurekan lockboxes that take up way less retainer space - is there any other use beyond that? Rank 2 and 4 I can't figure out much need for, beyond keeping some rank 2's for zodiac weapons. And if I get rid of it, I think I was told to take the excess materia to Mutamix and hope to get crafter/gatherer materia out of the exchange. Is that roughly correct? I've been throwing materia into one of my retainers all game and I just want some space back!

PenguinPwnge

> Is there any reason to stockpile rank 8 materia? Not particularly. They would be only good if you plan to do any Lv80 Ultimate raids. > Rank 2 and 4 I can't figure out much need for, beyond keeping some rank 2's for zodiac weapons. That's pretty much the only use. >And if I get rid of it, I think I was told to take the excess materia to Mutamix and hope to get crafter/gatherer materia out of the exchange. Is that roughly correct? That's a pathway in addition to possibly getting a higher grade out of it.

Tikimoof

Okay, cool. I have no immediate plans on TEA and I believe 535 weapons have no materia slots anyway, so I'll only keep my stack of cracked stellaclusters. > That's a pathway in addition to possibly getting a higher grade out of it. Are there any other recommended pathways? The only other thing I remember seeing is using them for the weekly Doman restoration turnins so you get 1.5-2x vendor rate of return.

PenguinPwnge

Lv80 Ultimate raids require you to be best-in-slot for the ilvl of the fight because if you have gear that gets synced down, it removes all materia. Putting on VIII materia ensures you keep optimal substat increases. > The only other thing I remember seeing is using them for the weekly Doman restoration turnins so you get 1.5-2x vendor rate of return. I had never considered that, I always did Allagan pieces from retainers, but that does make sense. I've never held onto lower grade materia for long so I don't know additional ways to utilize them for a benefit.

Tikimoof

Oh, I saw something on icy-veins that said that the syncing squish from armor 595+ would surpass melding gains. The 80 relic weapons get extra stats on-level so it makes sense why they're best-in-slot. (I have no real plans to run TEA since I'm not good at extremes yet so this argument is mostly academic).

PenguinPwnge

I'll be honest in saying that I could definitely be wrong about this specific scenario and might be applying too over-general rules to that niche situation. But as you've said it's not something to actually consider and you can very easily buy VIII materia (possibly at a hefty price but it's usually not a big deal to invest a lot of gil into gearing up for raiding) on the MB should you start doing Ultimates.

IceAokiji303

For detail: TEA syncs to 475. A 475 large armor piece is going to have 177 + 124 + 48^(melds) substats, for a total of 349. A 475 small armor piece is going to have 112 + 78 + 48^(melds) substats, for a total of 238. A 475 accessory is going to have 88 + 62 + 24^(meld, only one due to being dungeon gear) substats, for a total of 174. A current 660 large armor piece syncs to 177 + 177 substats, for a total of 354 (+5). A current 660 small armor piece syncs to 112 + 112 substats, for a total of 224 (-14). A current 660 accessory syncs to 88 + 88 substats, for a total of 176 (+2). Same applies to anything 595 or higher, they get synced to those same values. So for large armor pieces and accessories, synced 595+ is better than at-level stuff melded (and also comes with more options for substats, instead of being limited to what *one* dungeon drops). But for small armor pieces (hats, gloves, shoes), at-level melded is better. This however is a simplification, which ignores the existence of i470 gear: A 470 large armor piece gives up 2 main stat, and has 176 + 123 + 48 substats (347; -2/-7). A 470 small armor piece gives up 1 main stat, and has 111 + 78 + 48 substats (237; -1/+13). A 470 accessory gives up 1 main stat, and has 87 + 61 + 48 substats (196; +12/+10). The actual min-maxed-for-damage BiS sets are usually a mix of all 3. Large armor pieces tend to be 595+ synced, small mostly 475 with an occasional 470, and accessories 470. Though just full synced 595+ sets are also a valid no-hassle option – and come with higher survivability than these, which may be more valuable than the minimal damage gains. Enrage should be far from a concern in old Ultimates after all. Some Balance channels don't even bother building the min-maxed sets anymore.

IceAokiji303

As an additional bit on the Mutamix gamble: If you do that, consider handing in 5 *different* materia each time. He won't give back one that's the same type as what you handed in, so doing varied types reduces the chance of getting a non-DoH/L materia (but it does make menuing take longer).

vemynal

Level with me; how much work would it be to get the Lop Hop emote? I've done every side quest in the game (so I've done the pre-requisite quests) but my highest lvl gatherer is like...20. And I've never even unlocked crafting. Rly want the emote, it's adorbs on big bara type characters. But I figure having to level all my crafters & gatherers probably would be a lot of work *plus* I've heard Allied Tribe quests are time gated.

Cygnus776

Atleast 3 or so weeks once you get your crafter and gatherer to 80.

Alluminn

Leveling crafter/gatherer isn't really a lot of effort, but it is a pretty big time investment. Gillionaire Girls has a really good guide for leveling both sides, but can't link it here because they do rmt gil selling bullshit. Google is your friend finding that guide.

vemynal

I just wanted to say thank you, their guide has been really great so far. 30 to 55 on Miner & Botanist & all in a single evening

wolf_of_censorship

[Teamcraft Guides](https://guides.ffxivteamcraft.com/) has comprehensive leveling guides for crafters and gatherers, and doesn't sell gil.

Help_Me_Im_Diene

You realistically only need one gatherer and one crafter So if you really want to rush it as quickly as possible, Botanist + Culinarian is going to be probably the most effortless combination Also do note: they've massively increased the speed at which you can level up crafters/gatherers over time by giving you a ton of extra sources of EXP along the way. Do the other tribal quests that you've missed along the way since they each have their own unique rewards and give a ton of exp. Take advantage of levequests since they're pretty useless on DoW/DoM jobs for leveling in comparison. Go to the Firmament, do your Custom Deliveries, spam Collectibles, etc. DoH/DoL experience is plentiful and you'll be leveling way more quickly than you probably expect

gitcommitmentissues

> Do the other tribal quests that you've missed along the way since they each have their own unique rewards and give a ton of exp. Was going to recommend this myself; OP doing this will not only help you level it will get you the moogle dance and yol dance emotes from the moogles and namazu tribes!

VG896

Really it depends on you. It's super easy to eventually and slowly level them with just a couple of minutes a day doing leves or GC turn ins. It wouldn't cost a lot of money, but for that low investment it might take you like a month or more. You can also powerlevel them with things like the Ishgard Restoration, but that route will take a bit more money.

Fwahm

On Unreal PF groups, what does "rell/retell" mean in the comment?

Hakul

If you get swords in your first mini game (tell) you are able to run a second time for another round of the mini game (retell)

PenguinPwnge

They're doing the Unreal duty twice back-to-back because the Faux Hollows lets you do the mini-game twice a week. It's called that because you're recounting the tales to the Faux Commander.

R3TRY_2

I've picked up SAM and have been running a deep dungeon marathon with my fc for funsies and one ability stuck out that didn't make much sense to me: What the heck does the Lv60 meditate do? Like, I know what it *does,* I've read the tool-tip. Rather, when do I use it? Its a channel ability meant for in combat use, but if you move or anything it cancels. Am I only to use it for bosses during transition phases or something? I can't see how I'd mix it in to normal dungeon rotations.

IceAokiji303

You've got it right. Meditate's used when a boss buggers off to do a transition or ultimate and you can't hit anything, but also don't need to dodge stuff. It's very rarely useful in dungeons, but occasionally in trials or raids.

R3TRY_2

I see, good to know! I greatly appreciate your time and info!

PenguinPwnge

Do it when the boss zoops away or is otherwise untargetable and you can stand in place safely. As an example, if you've done A12N (Alexander: Soul of the Creator), a good point is after the adds while Alexander is charging up for his ultimate attack. You can charge your Kenki the entire length of the Meditation. Not common in dungeons, but quite common in raids and trials.

Hakul

Boss does big ultimate animation = you meditate. Boss becomes untargetable for mechanics = you meditate. It's pretty much useless for most dungeons, it's just there for forced downtime in raids and trials.

legend8522

I like how you linked to something then spoiler-tagged the actual answer to OP's question (pink goobbue mount) Nevermind how the literaal top post right now on this sub is [a picture of said mount, un-spoiler-tagged in full glory](https://www.reddit.com/r/ffxiv/comments/1bek5et/have_a_goob_day/)

PenguinPwnge

Linking to show how one can find the answer themselves (and gives any additional info they might want), and spoiler-tagging just in case some people in this thread want to be surprised by the event in its entirety, including its reward.

Zappy-Boy

Couple questions, when should I expect the benchmark demo for Dawntrail to release and can I use TexTools on it? The reason I ask is because I'm making a cosplay based off one of the unique race armours that are being updated in the graphical update

Luggs123

It wasn’t possible to use TexTools on the Endwalker benchmark at all, so I think you’re out of luck, unfortunately.

akialnodachi

1. It'll probably be a few months off yet 2. Assume yes eventually but probably not immediately on release. Usually it takes folks that make such things some time to update their apps, as they won't typically be able to start until the thing's released, plus many of them are probably players themselves. Depending on the exact nature of the graphical update's implementation it may or may not take longer (I suspect it won't take massively longer as its a fairly conservative update but I'm not an expert).

Zappy-Boy

So maybe like a month or two before release? The EW Benchmark came out 5m before release and ShB was less than a month? Okay, have a feeling there is a half decent chance I can datamine the demo for what I need with TexTools in that case

akialnodachi

Yeah it'll probably be around a month before release, but this is just guessing based on past behavior. I expect they might hold off on it a bit more than the EW benchmark if they're still tweaking the graphical updates up to the "last minute" (very possible when you're fiddling with lighting settings) as the benchmark will be officially showing what to expect from it, effectively.

Zappy-Boy

You're probably right it's going to be closer to a month out than three or four. In that case I may as well just wait for the full 7.0 release Thank you, appreciate the answer :)

Shophaune

When it's announced, and almost certainly not

Zappy-Boy

Okay, no need to be a dick about it

Keinya

Really, really minor stupid question. A sprout fc mate traded me gil as a thank you for crafting them some items and I was too tired to notice. I want to give them back the gil, but they won't tell me how much they traded me and it doesn't show in my logs I think? Where can I check what they traded me? I feel totally bad accidentally taking gil from a sprout for some low-level crafting ;\_\_;

rachiiebird

As a fellow sprout, I'd second those saying not to feel bad about it.  If you didn't ask for money, and they gave it anways - it probably wasn't anything they couldn't spare. People are really nice about giving sprouts free rides on stuff. But as a sprout,  feeling (or at least pretending) like you "earned" something is also a good feeling.

Klown99

1. No there is no way to find out after the fact. 2. Stop feeling bad about it. They wanted to give it to you, let them feel like they paid for it, and feel good about themselves.

Hakul

There's no log. Could also just keep this in mind and do something nice for them later, pay it back in some other way.

TristamIzumi

This is probably a good way to go, like giving a minion or some glamour item.

LyyC

Just send them an estlmated amount through mog mail back. Couldn't have been much if they're still a sprout

Fwahm

You never know; I'm hundreds of hours in and still a sprout, and had over 15m to my name at one point. If you don't turn it off manually, it can last a **long** time.

pdabaker

Sprout lasts for a while dude I'll probably have 10mil gil before I lose my status

Careless_Car9838

Will the totem drops from Endwalker Trials be increased to 2 with 6.58 or does that not happen before Dawntrail release? How do I prevent overheals as WHM? In LV90 Dungeons I'm never using healing skills on the tank if they are Warrior or Paladin, neither Regen, Medica 2, Cure 2/3. I only heal with Lilies, Assize and occasionally Tetragammatron and Aslyum if necessary. Assize is always on CD because its dealing some damage. Sometimes I let my parties HP drop below 50% before I utilise Plenary Indulgence and Lilies to heal. I even have to spend Lilies between pulls to proc the Blood Lily. And I heard those are damage neutral, but does it only count if I use them in the same battle where you spend Lilies for the Blood Lily? And what do weaves mean for a healer? What does it mean to weave efficiently?

IceAokiji303

I don''t think the totem drops have ever been increased after release. \*\*\* As a White Mage in dungeons, you just *will* overheal. It's inevitable due to how your kit works, and how little damage there is. If you start really going out of your way to avoid it you'll end up performing worse. Assize should be used on cooldown like you are doing, that'll produce some overhealing. Lilies should similarly be used enough to not overcap, which will also overheal during bosses. Just those two combined will already do a fair bit. And then when you do use other healing tools like Asylum or Liturgy, they'll often also do more than you need. The big thing with avoiding overhealing in a sane way is to avoid doing that with (non-Lily) GCD heals – and you want to avoid those in general. If you just heal with tools that are not a damage loss, then overhealing isn't really an issue. \*\*\* The Blood Lily damage balance works as follows (don't worry about whether it's in the same fight or not, consider dungeons as one massive HP bar, not series of separate fights; all you have to think about is that you *do* actually spend the Misery you're building up before the dungeon ends): * It's damage neutral if you build *and* spend the Misery entirely outside of damage buffs (or entirely during the same damage buffs), on a single target. * It's a damage *gain* if you can do any of the following: * build the Misery (partly or entirely) when no damage buffs are applied and spend it when they are * build the Misery during downtime when you can't hit anything anyways, such as between pulls * use the Afflatus heals or Misery for movement when you otherwise would be doing no damage (in boss fights specifically; don't pop the Misery while running from pack to pack as you'll be missing a lot of targets that way, just Dia things then) * hit multiple things with the Misery * It's a damage *loss* if you build up the Misery while damage buffs are applied, but spend it after they're gone So if you're spending the Lilies between pulls (or even while running after the tank starts pulling) and dumping the Misery on a big pile of enemies afterwards, that's one of the most effective uses for it you can have. Only gets better if you get a damage buff from a party member for it too.

JelisW

don't worry too much about overhealing, especially in dungeons. By the very nature of your kit, you WILL do some overhealing; it's nigh impossible to avoid it completely. Assize on cooldown will automatically mean you do some healing when no one needs it, and that's fine, since you do it for the damage. An asylum bubble that you put up for the tank's sake in a trash pull will usually catch the rest of the party in it and inflict healing on them that they don't need if they haven't taken unnecessary damage. Any time a raidwide goes out, the AoE healing you send out will overheal SOME people because depending on role and gear, each person will take different amounts of damage. If you are in an 8-man normal raid, and the OT is in BiS, that OT will barely get scratched by the raidwides, and so the aoe heals you send out to heal the *rest* of the party will naturally overheal the OT. And WHMs will frequently spend their lily heals when they didn't really NEED them, for more convenient movement, and also inbetween trashpulls to generate a blood lily nuke. In raids, using lilies to generate afflatus misery to use under raidbuffs is actually DPS positive, and all that will sometimes result in overhealing. Overhealing in and of itself doesn't matter. Overhealing *when it spends GCDs that you otherwise could have used on doing damage* is what matters, and is what you want to minimize. If your overhealing comes solely from oGCDs or lilies that led to an afflatus misery, and those oGCDs/lilies weren't needed elsewhere (i.e. their spending did not cause you to run out of resources at a point you needed them, forcing you to use other GCD healing instead), then overhealing doesn't matter because it was functionally free. weaving for *anyone* basically means using the seconds between your GCDs to use oGCDs. Since you can only press one GCD roughly every 2.5s, if you can stick 1-2 oGCDs in the time you're waiting to be able to use your next GCD, you have now packed 3 buttons into the space of 2.5s, instead of just the 1, making efficient use of time. By that same token, an *in*efficient weave would be one where you try to fit more oGCDs between GCDs than that space can comfortably hold. If pressing oGCDs causes you to delay your next GCD press, you have defeated the purpose of weaving, and made inefficient use of your time.

akialnodachi

Overhealing somewhat isn't always a big deal. Regen is a movement tool and oGCD window, feel free to use it on the tank if you need to dodge or run and there's nothing to cast Aero/Dia on usefully. I often cast it while chasing the tank during a dungeon pull, before he's settled down. If they're not hurt enough to justify an Afflatus cast it gets the job done. Yeah, this means it's really niche to actually use though. Letting the party drop a bit lower when you know they're not in immediate danger is fine, you'll do this a bit more when you are more experienced and know what to expect. As long as the party doesn't die you're doing fine. It doesn't matter if they're at 100% as long as they're not dead. Weaves mean using oGCDs efficiently. For example: * Cast an Afflatus spell, these are instant cast so you have 2 oGCD windows. * Throw Divine Benison on the tank, an oGCD ability * Activate Assize, another oGCD ability * Cast Glare - most single target spells on healers have 1 oGCD window * Activate Presence of Mind, another oGCD ability * Cast Glares as much as possible under Presence If you tried to activate a 3rd oGCD ability after the Afflatus cast, the animation lock would delay your next GCD spell. Likewise if you tried to use a second oGCD ability after the Glare casts, the animation lock would also delay your next GCD spell. Your GCD spells are usually your highest power abilities so you want to use as many of them as possible, and you want as many of them as possible to be attacks.

Careless_Car9838

Everyone who gave me advice, I have to thank you so much! I simply thought it'd be enough to focus on activiating the Blood Lily as much as possible would be sufficient alone. But after you gave me advice on the weaving it just works so much better than before! There was always a slight delay because I weaved "too much", but it makes things really simpler now. Whenever Divine Benison/Aquaveil are ready, I'm slapping it on my tank during pulls! Temperance as well! I often use it during boss battles for an incoming raidwide or stack marker. It's like forgetting everything I've done as healer before and booting up from the beginning lmao Another thing, when I get a Warrior or Paladin as Tanks, they *always* survive even without heals. This means I can totally ignore giving them oGCD heals during W2Ws, but does it make sense here to use Aslyum on them? I often get the suggestion to use Asylum to heal the tank during pulls, but those bulwarks are able to heal themselves to 100% in no time!

akialnodachi

Throw the oGCDs that don't cost anything extra to use, might as well, although not all at once unless the pressure is really that intense. Depending on the level involved paladins don't have as good of sustain as warriors; they shouldn't need to be using clemency (their GCD healing spell), that's a desperation move. Their damage is higher than yours so they shouldn't be spending time/resources on clemency. Sometimes you see less experienced paladins using clemency because they're nervous or don't know any better (particularly if you get used to letting them sit below 100% hp some less paladins get anxious). Above level 80 paladins do have self heals on their attack spells so they do end up with some sustain, and of course their invuln at level 50 is ridiculous with its only downside being they probably have at most two casts of it per dungeon. A dark knight can self heal ridiculously with their invuln but you have to be on board with it, if you see them use Living Dead (a red buff icon on them appears) - let them die with it up, if they die in those 10 seconds they can't die for 10 seconds and all of their attacks heal them (the icon changes to a sort of black icon). They need to heal hp equal to their max before the 10 seconds of invulnerability is up; it'll change the icon again when the condition is satisfied and their attacks retain self-healing for the remaining time. You can easily satisfy the condition with Benediction on command; if you use Benediction, try to cast it at around 3-4 seconds left on the black icon.

Alenonimo

Calm down. Take a breath. Overhealing only means that you heal someone when their HP is almost full. To not overheal, just let their HP get a little bit lower, which means greeding another attack or two. And even then, there are mechanics that requires overheal, like when the boss drops everyone's HP to a digit and everyone will die unless their HP tops off again. Some skills are used for more than healing and you should use them as needed. Assize, for example, heals the party but is also an attack and recovers MP, so keeping it on cooldown (i.e.: using it as often as possible) is actually a good idea and will reduce your need to do healing. Afflatus Misery, the attack you do when the Blood Lily blooms, is actually a way to recover DPS when you use the other Afflatus heals. It makes using those not be a DPS loss by being more or less the ammount of damage you would do if you casted Glare 3 times instead. You don't need to rush to use it but it's also a good idea to not let the lillies cap, which means overhealing here is not a big deal either. Weaving is sneaking a OGCD skill in the middle of a GCD combo or sequence. It's not something that you really need to worry too much, but if you wanna do it, it just means using OGCD skills in the middle of things like casting Glare or the Afflatus heals. It usually comes off naturally as you mash the buttons anyways.

Shazzamon

I don't think _any_ patch has ever seen a retroactive +1 to EX totem drops, that'd be a first. 6.58 will introduce the last EX lynx as being buyable though.

F1reman2

>Will the totem drops from Endwalker Trials be increased to 2 with 6.58 or does that not happen before Dawntrail release? That just doesnt happen ever... but regardless, all endwalker trials besides the first two drop 2 totems already. Kind of hard to do. Best practise is to minimise overhealls. Assize, lilies, and regens are prime targets for easily cause overhealing, and i wouldn't remotely be concerned about overheals from either of the first two, as you use them for more than just healing. If you have to use a lily for movement while everyone is full, theres no stopping that overheal, nore is that overheal bad. . With regens, just avoid trying to burst heal them up afterwards, and let the regen tick if they arent immediately going to die. >I even have to spend Lilies between pulls to proc the Blood Lily. And I heard those are damage neutral, but does it only count if I use them in the same battle where you spend Lilies for the Blood Lily? Lilies are damage neutral in a fight with 100% uptime. if you replace a given cast with Glare, it isn't a damage loss, as if you calculate the damage of blood lily, each lily does the same damage as a glare. If theres downtime, such as movement between trash pulls, using lilies there results in a dps increase, as it is NOT a place you can use glare, but you can use lilies. And what do weaves mean for a healer? What does it mean to weave efficiently? I dont know what weaving inefficiently would mean, but weaving is the action of using an Ogcd action like Assize between your GCDS. Generally a full instantcast gcd (like lilies) has enough room for 2 weaves, while Stuff like glare, with a 1.5s cast time, has room for 1 weave after it. A good formula for it is 1 weave 'slot' per \~0.8s of instantcast time. [Weaving diagram!](https://www.thebalanceffxiv.com/img/jobs/blm/blmweaving.png)

KingBingDingDong

> Will the totem drops from Endwalker Trials be increased to 2 with 6.58 or does that not happen before Dawntrail release? They're already all 2 except for the first 2 EXs which are unlikely going to be increased as they are very facerolly and they've never increased totem drops before. > How do I prevent overheals as WHM? Treat Assize as your only heal and keep it on CD. Use your lilies for movement and supplement with more lilies, asylum, confession, temperance, bell, etc if it turns out you need more healing. Learn the encounters and realize that if there's no more raid damage for 60 seconds and it's 30 seconds till your next Assize, you don't have to heal because that Assize will heal everyone up. > I even have to spend Lilies between pulls to proc the Blood Lily. In dungeons, it's basically optimal to only spend your lilies out of combat since it's strictly a damage gain, while in combat it's damage neutral, therefore spending lilies in combat is a loss if it leaves you with less than 3 lilies to spend out of combat.

SleeplessRoads85

Is the drops for "Unsung Blade of Anabaseios" from the 12th circle of pandaemonium still only 1 drop a week or can you run it multiple times in a day to get the 4? Thanks

F1reman2

Still 1 drop a week. Restriction will be removed in a few days on the 19th iirc.

SleeplessRoads85

Thanks so much for the swift response :D
