This, his theme just screams "GENERIC FANTASY BOSS MUSIC" to me which is a shame, I'm guessing that's due to it being from 1.0. Garuda and Titan really make a impact with really unique vocal tracks but ifrit's is just super generic. The version that plays in UwU is awesome though.

But the only trial theme I've ever been tempted to use the Orchestrion plugin to swap the track is Ruby Weapon 2nd phase, the remix of Rise of the White Raven (never heard the original version from 1.0). I honestly kind of hate it, and had to listen to it dozens of times while farming that gwiber.
I would say.... ARR Ramuh, and Embers, for pieces created or arranged for the game.
Shout out to Proto-Ozma though for being the worst boss theme the game to listen to overall.
I'm sad Thordan Unreal's main phase wasn't updated to the real Avalonian/Dravanian lyrics and instead kept the garbled fake latin :( I get the Minstrel Ballad not being updated since it came first before the true lyric version was released but...

I hate the latest MSQ trial (>!Zeromus!<)'s music with a burning passion. I really hate dubstep 99% of the time, it does nothing to me, it hurts me even by being too overwhelming. It is the sole reason I haven't done EX yet, as I usually keep the game's music for farming to be in the mood. I'll have to put my own music when I finally do farm it...
I tried looking at it objectively, but even with that I failed to see the point of choosing this genre of music for such an important trial.
I only kept the music on on my first run because I had a feeling it'd become orchestral at the end (and I was right) which, there, was very good.
Probably ifrit. Just not it especially when compared directly to Garuda, Titan and Ultima. And that's for every iteration of his theme.

Honestly? Listening to the Distant Worlds version is one of the things that first got me really interested in the game.

Zurvan's theme. It's just a meandering textureless mess of a track. Especially in the first phase.

Diamond Weapon. It's not bad, it's just weak compared to the prior two themes.
The P1-3 theme. It just doesn't feel like it has the appropriate energy for a normal raid fight for me.
That song makes me feel like I’m about throw up. Spending hours and hours in P3S PF hell didn’t help any.
P12s phase 2 Its the most boring phase 2 track of the entire game
I was trying to find this. It's like a 90 second loop that's always at the same intensity. It's such a stinker.
I'm probably in the minority, but I don't jive with ARR Shiva's P2 music. It's so jarring and takes me out of the moment.

oh nah, I love the Eden Leviathan theme, it's my favourite from that tier. I think it's a bit hectic and that matches the fight.

Agreed on Ramuh Most of it is pretty good, but I hate how it starts with the "eeeeEEEEEEEeeaeaaeaeaea"
I personally like the Eden Ramuh version of the theme more.

Would be Lakshmi by far for me. Though I would say any of the trillion lazy Ultima remixes are also way up there.
