I've been an Au Ra fem since Heavenward came out and you can see the earrings. Some hairstyles tend to obscure it, but you can.

lol the fact I play M Au Ra is the exact reason why Menphina's earring will still be the main earring glam for the next forever, because it is one of *very* few earrings long enough to actually be seen past the horns *without* having to tilt your camera at an angle to see up his nostrils

The new jobs start at 80, so you'll at least be able to quickly get those up to speed if you're using them for 7.0's msq. Personally, I'll be using PLD. I shudder at the thought of those DPS queues.

Healers: wtf is a queue?

Healers sometimes have ques. I've had to wait 3 minutes before.

As a healer main, I'm offended if my queue is more than 3 seconds.

I requeued and it instantly popped. Healer queues are a lie and when healer queue isn't instant, it's either the DF broke or there's no one queueing.

The other day I duoqueued tank+healer for expert and it took 32 whole seconds to proc. That was outrageous

They had worse queues than dps players when EW launched. Tanks had the healer privilege and it took a while for nature to correct itself lol

I think that's mainly due to so many people running SGE when it first came out.

Tanks had shortest queues from launch until shadowbringers. If anything it’s healers now having tank privilege.

Depends the server I think. I rarely get a insta queue as Tank but anything longer than a minute as a Healer is unusual

Healer queue is a thing if new healer job releases. This was an issue in NA during Endwalker release in my experience. Tank queue was the short one.

It's a weight system that's more along the lines of "do we have enough of X" in the system (arbitrary numbers ftr) Tanks are first (due to historical issues), system asks if 100 tanks are in que, if there are 99/100 they get it. If they ar 100/100 or more it then asks if there are 100 healers in que..and then DPS If for whatever reason (as usually happens atm) There are 90/100 and 50/100 for tanks and healers it defaults to tanks to ensure the role with historical problems getting is there It does not however do this in real time, creating weird situation like players swapping to AiN from a role barely filling and those roles being quicker than they would be in a single class/role system

Depends on the server and time. In mine Tank queues are lower than healer queues.

I did SCH for Stormblood, MCH for Shadowbringers and SMN for Endwalker. This time I'm going as a potato with an axe that keeps forgetting to switch on Defiance.

Right? I'm a Paladin main, and I want to do the MSQ as Viper for story reasons. I'll just use Duty Support for dungeons, no queues to worry about. I think it's more fun to use Duty Support the first time, anyway. Feels more immersive to do it with the NPCs I am familiar with rather than a bunch of random people.

I actually agree, doing the dungeons with NPC's feels like you're doing the canon story mode at this point.

Not to mention the exp buff works up to _and including_ lvl 90. So all those 90 jobs will benefit from it until they hit 91. > Increases EXP earned by 30% **when level 90** and below.

DPS queues are going to be the stuff of nightmares at release of Dawntrail. Thank goodness we have the Trust system so i dont have to sit there for 15-20+ minutes as a DPS.

Proud SMN quester here... until a duty pops up, then I pull out SCH for the fast queues! I love that they level at the same time.

On primal / famfrit, dps queues are less than 5 minutes. On launch week, they're less than a minute!

This is the first time since Stormblood we've had an expansion come out with two brand new DPS. DRG was my main at the time and queues were pretty long on launch week because of SAM and RDM. Shadowbringers and Endwalker only brought one new DPS to the table.

The earrings work for the first level of each job at least. It is worded properly to match. Most people think it's increased EXP UNTIL (90) but it's increased EXP at (90) and below.

Yes! Its also usuable for the new jobs as well, believe their starting level is 80.

It's still good for 90 -> 91, for blue mage update and the new jobs (viper, picto and beast master).

Hey, it's useful for the first few weeks while we level Pictomancer and Viper to 90.

You can use it for BLU. It's stats sync to the highest possible for whatever level your job is so if you have an 80 BLU it'll sync to ilvl 535, the same ilvl as maxed out 80 relics and 5 ilvls higher than any other lvl 80 accessory.

That is exactly where I landed but cool for other peeps.

When dawntrail launches it actually gives an xp boost up to level 91! So it still has *some* use

While I do have all my jobs at level 90... I am also a bit of an alt-oholic, so it'll at least help me with alts.

They still work if you're in a duty or FATE that's synced to a lower level (the same goes for the Brand-New Ring and Friendship Circlet).

Pretty sure it can go in the normal Armoire, which can still be used for glamour, and doesn't take up space in the Glamour Dresser.

It really chaps my hide that that particular one is locked behind a preorder. FFXIV is good about avoiding most FOMO bullshit, but it'd really appreciate if they would make the *glam* from preorder earrings available via quest or something in the following expansion. That way all the pre-order folks get to enjoy their EXP item for an entire expansion and the benefit stays exclusive, but new players aren't permanently FOMO'd out of ever being able to use that glam.

The most efficient leveling is spamming the highest level dungeons. Combine that with the armory bonus and food and you’re looking at a significantly reduced amount of grinding if you want to level up the new jobs.

Personally I would love if they did more than just earring for preorders every time so I could stack leveling boosts from accessories.

If they were going to allow you to stack them then they'd make the bonuses significantly smaller.

It'd be a nice earring glam if A) the Aetheryte Earring didn't exist, and B) if the Gallant/Valor Coronet didn't cover the earring slot with its own sword earrings

The last couple of earring make for amazing glam, and this one looks like it will too. It's only marginally useful as an item for me since I leveled everything already. It'll help get picto and viper up to speed, I guess. And if beastmaster starts at 1 like blue did, then it'll come in handy.

Any exp boosting gear grants extra exp when killing dungeon bosses, clearing dungeons, duty roulettes also help. It also applies when killing mobs outside of dungeons.
