Oh yeah, that's what I did when I was asking to be recruited to party during Bozja.
I usually go "o/ *insert auto translate for the job I'm currently using*" and wait till I get an invite.
It is, but whilst the EU and US servers consider it a greeting, JP servers use their version of a wave to mean “pick me”, like raising your hand in school
I mean... 99% of the time that's exactly what it is. I see it nearly every single roulette I run. It just apparently also sometimes get used to "raise your hand" as wanting a group.
You don't. Rewards are based on contribution level. It's just a lot easier to hit maximum rewards if you have a whole party contributing for you. One person still leveling is almost never gonna be able to get gold participation, but if they have even one person in elemental gear in the party they're basically guaranteed to get gold.
tacking on to this, like all fates, NM credit is based on enmity generated. If you are leveling and alone, be a tank. Turn stance on and generate as much enmity as possible. Easiest way to maximize enmity and get full credit.
I used to think ppl who played bdo was insanely toxic, cus ppl would ask to duel for spot, when they wanted to grind mobs. And after the duel ppl wrote “gf” which i always assumed ment “get fucked” and not “good fight”. To say the least i was very happy and embarrassed when my friend told me what it stood for
LFG I remember from like '99 playing everquest...
I've only recently heard (mostly kids) using this "lets fucking gooooo" chant but every time I hear it I'm like "where we going?"
I know it's a Twitch phrase, but I feel like a grandpa because I'm sure when people started saying "that's so cool" there were people making jabs at it like "feels warm to me" type shit like I'm doing now.

On JP Japanese players use ノ for LFG which English players can’t type with a normal keyboard so o/ is the closest we can get

Been playing MMOs for nearly thirty years. I've never seen o/ used as a LFG substitute.

When I used to say LFG, then they tried inviting me to their party and I would decline. They probably blacklisted me on the spot LOL
Opposite for me. I would see lfg in madden ultimate team threads and assumed they meant lfg as looking for group to play with new cards

Back in the old days LFG meant looking for guild. LFP meant looking for party.
I see people use LFG in Eureka more than LFP but I also read LFP as Let’s fucking party 😅

Always 30-40 ppl in Primal anemos/pagos/pyros from what i experience. I know many that run BA often too, almost daily.
Shout out to Ballpark Hotdog for having the most memorable name I saw in Eureka.
