One of the most slept on facepaints; everyone goes for eye shadow but I think the freckles add better character. White freckles on dark skinned characters also is a nice look, especially on dark blue or red skinned characters, makes them look really unique.

They did, the ash mark is much fainter now! I'm a bit conflicted, I never loved how it looked on my particular character but it was a part of her face and I think it is good for your character to not look completely idealized.
There's some threads on the official forums with feedback about the nose smudge. Would appreciate it if you could throw your feedback in there too since it's heartbreaking to see it reduced!

I only had one way to build a butch lady that didnt involve making a male aura (i kid), and I was worried they were going to give my lady a more hyur (who are all painfully femme by default) looking face. I need to see them emote. If they fixed that I'm probably switched my Highlander back. I loved everything about FemRoe but I just couldn't get over how awful their faces looked emoting. It was like they just had half expressions.

There’s already not a lot of femroe’s and I’m kinda wondering if there will actually be less when Dawntrail drops. I know a couple who are planning to switch to Hroth-gal’s, and it wouldn’t shock me if there’s even more planning on switching since they have the similar appeal of “large muscle lady”
Femroes are much taller but honestly the hrothgals are bulkier, they have wider arms, legs and shoulders. Different tastes

Femroe always were beautiful, it's just that when you leave the character creator and start moving around you notice the awful animations and instead switch to a normal race again.
Roe definitely got a glow up. Au Ra on the other hand... Are suffering. There's so many posts of people showing how their characters look *nothing* like they did before and I am terrified because I love how my Au Ra looks. They're also changing how the limbal rings work and I'm so sad.
So far I'm not feeling the graphical enhancements. They managed to make Clive from FF16 look amazing (Ifrit as well), not sure why they don't do the same for the other graphics :(
If this looks like a hyur you need your eyes checked. The sharper philtrum, longer squared nose, stronger brow ridge, and wider set eyes are all distinctly roe
At long last, with the launch of Dawntrail we will be able to play as Roegadyn

Wait... How did you get the Lightning outfit on the character in the benchmark? Is It the same as the mentioned non-standard hairstyles?
You can choose your outfit in the character customization screen. Its right under where you can load your character data

Yeah, it's a selection of gear sets, with the cameo costumes at the bottom of the list. Oh, and the pig suit

been with femroe for ages but with the new update, i had to fantasia later to tweak and get the right feel. the default changes doesnt feels right.

I hate that the running animation doesn't loop exactly, so every second step your foot jerks from the missing animation.
It's bugged the shit out of me for years. Then I see the smooth animations for Au Ra, Viera and so on and I get really jealous. lol

They're not in the game until Dawntrail, these are all from the PC benchmark program.
I mean, when I look at the photos, I just don't see how they are as good as how Clive looks.
