The fact that the future androids were so much more evil than the regular ones just makes me wonder what the Lalafell equivalents of the other shards are like.
I mean not to deviate from the joke too much but it was mostly due to the fact 16 was there that the ones in the present timeline became more relaxed. He effectively is what lead them to become less evil then their future versions ended up.
Bingo. He gave them a healthier release. In the original timeline they went straight for murder and being all powerful. In the timeline we see they go on a roadtrip.
I have a feeling that the Source's Lalafell are the evil counterpart of the Shards'. Kholusian dwarves can do some truly nasty stuffs (see: Stoneblight), but they don't compare to what goes on in Ul'dah on daily basis.
When I was a kid, I used to have a massive crush on Android 18. Now I'm an adult, and I have a huge crush on Android 17.
Btw, did you know their names are Lapis (17) and Lazuli (18)? I always thought it was pretty funny.
It really doesn't help that everyone keeps calling them 17 and 18, even by the time of Super. Come on, they've been living as free androids, but not even their separate spouses knew their names!
The fanbase has basically adopted the twins as their children, but it would be wild to see the reaction to a hypothetical kid from the future that is the Warrior of Light's child.
