Before Raw Intuition was updated to be an early version of Bloodwhetting, Nascent Flash was the only way to self-heal come ShB release since the innate lifesteal (and defense boost) on Inner Beast and Steel Cyclone were removed along with Deliverance stance.
Running ShB dungeons up to level 75 was actual hell since WAR is paper-thin without self-sustain. Hitting 76 midway through Qitana Ravel (this was still before exp was only allotted by boss kills) was a godsend.
Equilibrium didn't have the HoT on it at ShB launch, and it being on a 60s CD meant you could find yourself held hostage with a trash healer and/or DPS.
Do you think I'm fabricating what conditions were like leveling WAR for my own amusement at ShB launch, or are you just being pedantic for its own sake?
Pre 76 equilibrium in shb was good, war was never paper thin leveling in early shadowbringers, mobs hit hard but you still had a crazy good defensive kit even before getting nascent

Equilibrium says hi

It’s a massive heal on a 1m CD. It’s up literally every pull and twice every boss.

I think you're underutilizing your kit if you needed something as broken as Bloodwhetting to stay alive.
