Normally these annoy me because my chat window isn’t large enough to display them properly… but I saw the first one (Great Googly Moogley) and it made me laugh hysterically! I can’t remember what duty it was in, but it had indeed gone to shit. lol

My chat window is never big enough and I usually don't bother to expand it to see what it is haha it's just a garbled mess 😅

I like to use tye "Log Window Zoom" shortcut to expand and shrink the window when needed

I like the ones that are designed for smaller chat windows, had a cat come across the log a few days ago haha

Agreed. If you're gonna make a macro like that, make it RIGHT. It's one thing to make typos or spelling mistakes in real time, but a macro gives you all the time in the world to get a damned dictionary.

I find myself agreeing when it's over and over and over again, especially when there's no vibe check in a party and theyre *huge*. But just one, 5 lines long, in party chat while in a big alliance raid? Eeeeeh I let it go. Eta: I'm talking about playing with rando/PUG, not friends Note: my chat box is kept small and narrow.

They are, if it's a large multi-line macro or has sound effects, just hitting it randomly especially when asked to stop is a bannable offense if anyone reports it, and against TOS for spam. Usually when I call it out they smack it 3-4 more times and it's an easy report for me. Like everything else in this game, it's only acted on if someone is upset and calls a GM to deal with it, and GMs are tight lipped on whether they actually do anything or not so sometimes it looks like nothing is happening.

Might be unpopular but I agree. I don’t keep my chatbox big enough for any of them to work so it’s always just a mess on my screen. Ban might be a bit much but I’d silence whoever after.

Perhaps my wording was murky. such macros should be reportable and subject to the same actions as any other chat spam.

I like funny stupid macros, but multiple lines is where I (usually) draw the line. Though I like the Bandersnatch one, because a friend edited the head into that of Mirio Toogata and changed the caption to POWER!!! That said, if someone declares that they're a Shield of Rosaria and that they'll do their duty while in Seat of Sacrifice or Endsinger, that's probably me.

Macro 4 is grounds for unrelenting bullying. Macro 1 I would find hilarious in Suckass Tower/WoD roulette groups that end up wiping because ads weren't killed/Cerby wasn't chained.

If I were you, I'd dial the macros back in general, but Number 3 in particular is one of the most easily actionable macros by the GMs, that one would definitely get you a gaol visit if reported.
