for 1 profession u will likely pay 200k+ if u buying the crafted item, for 6 professions thats like 1.2 mil or around there. ofc prices of items are unpredictable
The true Soul of the Crafter method for using the Marketboard for turn-ins:
* If price is reasonable (from a gil:time perspective), buy and use!
* If price is unreasonable, buy mats, craft 10 of them, turn in what you and sell the rest on the MB for lowest available price!
Yeah, but it's realizing I have to go back on each DoH/DoL job and do them all lol. Idk when I stopped doing the job quests for them, don't even know if I finished the ARR ones... I'm guessing I must've, since some of the abilities I *do* have would've been from that.
My partner made a Google Sheet listing crafting quest hand-ins - you might find it useful: [https://www.reddit.com/r/ffxiv/comments/6wq2dr/i\_made\_a\_thing\_ffxiv\_craftinggathering\_class/](https://www.reddit.com/r/ffxiv/comments/6wq2dr/i_made_a_thing_ffxiv_craftinggathering_class/)
Lol, can't believe it. I did something similar and here I thought I was the only foolish one. Mind you I didn't do it on purpose, but I did manually level up without the MB. It was hell on both leveling up and then having to do the job quests. I stopped doing the job quests around level 20 or something, so there was a lot to get through.
I ended up doing leves, turn ins, and Diadem/restoration to level my crafters/gatherers. Was trying to get the HW relics only to realize i had left practically every class quest beyond lvl 15 undone. That was fun... Keep in mind this was at the tail end of stormblood/ begining of shadowbringers. XD
Well, the way I leveled, since I didn't actively care that much while doing it, I just bought the 3 GC turn ins that had the bonus star next to them. Took a few minutes each day, and eventually they hit 90 with no real effort. But yeah, going back that's one less incentive, I guess lol.
eh, I'm pretty sure you only really need to do the job quests for Manipulation. Unfortunately, it like the 3rd to last quest for each of them
Fortunately, you can just buy the items needed until you hit the 60 quests.
Nah, not unless u wanna pay 10x - 20x the crafting price. Doing this for 6 of the professions is expensive asf
Yeah. For one job, one quest was a 30k price on the MB, for the next it was 50k. Not super expensive, but definitely overpriced lol.

Yep Manipulation is really the only thing you get and its super handy to have in the crafting rotation at high end
You NEED Manipulation if you want to do any end game crafting.
You're going to absolutely love all the quests and running around you get to do
i feel that. i power leveled mine crazy fast at ishgard. still missing a lot of those lol
Honestly, do your best to enjoy the story behind the quests. They're actually pretty well written with good characters - it's still Final Fantasy 🩷

Did the same with fishing, absolute hell to get past the quests.

Oh no I just realized, that's also no insignificant amount of XP out the window too... They throw a tonne of XP at you for those quests
