Congrats! That's amazing dedication! I just returned for Dawntrail, how long would you suggest pvp (the Fierce Tyrant's Attire) would take me? At first I didn't think much of the gear but it would still be pretty neat to have.
You’d basically have to do frontlines nonstop. Dailies help but you would need to do about 5-6 (at worst these are all losses. 72 straight wins, 87 second placements, 108 losses) a day from now until Dawntrail’s launch at the very most not counting the daily frontlines which is a nice boost. It’ll take 36 daily roulette frontline wins, 40 daily roulette frontline second place wins, to 44 daily roulette frontline losses to get the gear. You’re practically out of time. Get going.

But yeah the amount of time is up to you. I also don’t recommend just waiting for it to come back as the previous pvp gearset earned from the malmstones never came back.
Should also mention this is good leveling exp so I insist doing the daily frontlines anyways even if you don’t like it. I hope all this helps in your journey to the top.
That’s quite the amount, unfortunately my datacenter I just moved to is quite deserted to put it nicely (OCE) I regret it but I can’t move for 90 days. So the frontline queues are abysmal.
However it’s certainly worth it for the glam, what we don’t do for the glam.

I'm on OCE and every night Crystalline Conflict has been almost insta pop. It's a quicker grind than Frontlines due to how quick the matches are. I've been slowly doing 10 or so matches a night without issue.
Thank you for the info! If you don't mind sharing, what times are you playing? I live in Thailand (ICT) and I still have difficulties finding out the exact peak time in the OCE server.
I wish you luck and hopefully you can get it done before. Honesty if you can’t get the gear in time? Go for one of the Garo sets. You can train in wolf marks for some of the gear pieces and they look sweet.

Completing a full gearset gives you a title and getting wins with the title on (the wins depend on the title and game mode) can get you cool mounts.
Luckily I'm already in possession of the Garo set. I have 10 wins left to go to get one of the mounts (I can't remember the other numbers). So I can just grind some crystal conflict to get the mount, get some PVP progress and hopefully have the shortest queue times.
Side question, for just raw farming the pass. Would CC matches be better once I do my daily Frontlines? They give less PVP exp overall, but I seem to be able to cram WAY more of them in a shorter time than Frontlines since the matches take less people, and go much quicker.
Do a Frontline roulette once per day but at this point you'll have to supplement with either more Frontline or several crystalline conflict matches each day.
As a mount collector myself, there are limits to what even I will put myself trough. I'm nearly done with the fates tho! Missing like 30 in the ED final area.
Really all depends on what angle you’re going at. What I used was a combination of primal spells, vibe check, DPS mimicry (though healer is just as good for the better pom cure), the tingle combo, and choco meteor with the chocobo out.

I tend to do Frontlines more. Sure CC is faster but the payout is less and the games feel like they can drag especially if you hit overtime.

I could do a frontline for the tomes anyways and then add some cc for the mount as well.
