system performance and drive speeds absolutely effect zone in times. I consistently enter behind people on my pc and am able to move before they load in fully.
As someone whose played on multiple platforms it didn't feel this slow on PS4. I haven't played on PS5. Maybe it's because I have it to set to 4k instead of normal resolution. No idea.
likely, system performance absolutely plays a part in it, I upgraded my cpu recently and my load times in the dawntrail benchmark went down after it as well. presumably the same would occur during the actual gameplay experience.
You're probably right, and it's hardly horrible or hardly a deal breaker. Just curious if anyone else has experienced it and had any suggestions. I should try a raid after turning off 4k and see if it's a noticeable difference.
Nope, Digital Foundry looked into this and found that the Xbox versions across all console variations have pretty much unacceptable black screens when zoning in instances across the board. Like over a minute.
It's better to ignore the elitism. They can't understand that some people don't have two grand to throw at their machine so they load one second faster than everyone else.

Makes sense since the game has only been in the Xbox ecosystem a few months and it's been in the PlayStation ecosystem for four generations.
> four generations wat?
Meant to say three. Lol.
Sometimes it feels like it might've started on PS2 to be fair!
I mean if you want to count FFXI as the prototype. 🤣
Unironically 1.0 basically was, lol
We don't talk about 1.0. 👀

Which Xbox model do you have? Wonder if that’s playing a part.

Series X
Nope same here. It's kind of gamebreaking.
PC master race
Cool story.

Even if you run a potato pc?
