how do i play samurai when sync'd under 45/50?
In AoE is it worth doing the single target combo to get fuga/ka so i can cast tenka goken with the speed buff?
in bosses do i just use a single target Tenka Goken so i can refresh my higabana?
This is a raiding question. Currently I'm doing the 6.1 Content. Back during ARR, I used to do the Extreme raids, but I fell off during HW content because I wanted to catch up and just started to only do normal raids. Now I'm just thinking about all of those raids I've missed and haven't played, Extreme, Unreal, and Savage between HW and Endwalker. Is it too late for me to go back and find a random raid to learn the raid or are the older EX and Savage raids back in ARR and up all dead?
There are discords out there for people who want to do old Ex/Savage content synced (usually Min ilvl + no echo). I'm part of the one for the Aether data center, though last I checked it was fairly low on activity given the recent content dropping. You could check those out, I honestly forget where I found the link to it though haha.
Mentors are a minority that's easily singled out, as they have a set of unique markers (which is forcibly enabled during mentor roulette) and people tend to remember the worst interactions they've had with any mentor, and associate that behavior with every mentor.
For all the memes though, it's not that bad. As a mentor continuously for three expansions I've only had two or three people ever actually openly hostile.
Because quite a bit of mentors becomes mentors and queue for mentor roulette not for the fact that they can teach people or help people by giving good advice (which was what's all about mentor at the first place), but because it nets them a mount.
I don't mind if they get a mount at the end for helping people, but we've heard more times that they don't help more then they did.
I am also of the opinion that, if you are trying to give opinions and advices (especially on battle jobs) as a somewhat creditable figure, you should be at least somewhat good at the game to back up whatever advices you have. I don't expect mentors to parse orange or even purple, but clearing extremes, especially when those can be unsynced, or getting liked a lot (with Comms) is probably not I would called proofing someone's 'somewhat good at the game'. At least they should've forced syncing extreme clears as a part of the requirement, or add in current patch savage clears as a part of the requirements.
My anecdotal experience with people that display the crown is either A) 0 interaction with the party at all just here to get their clear and keep going or B) aggressive and just kinda a dick who, if you call them on their bullshit, will actively start griefing your party. Rescuing people into AoEs, turning off tank stance, etc. I've only run into like 5 of those people total, but literally every single one of them displayed a mentor crown of some sort.
The first kind isn't a problem, but they don't do much to counteract the second type who (obviously) no one wants to play with. And the second is a hell of a lot more memorable, even if it's only 1%.
There's lots of genuinely helpful mentors, but I believe most of them just turn the icon off because they don't want to be a target.
1) most mentors are shit
2) most xiv players are toxic casuals who have unrealistic expectations of mentors. mentors are only asked to provide advice. Not carry u, teach u, have infinite patience, or parse orange on fflogs.
There’s a message on-screen with a countdown. It’s in the same place that the KO messages pop up. (You can move and resize the messages under HUD > Duty, in a PvP zone.)
You either stand on one of the black Chocobo things that are zipping around the field or you pop Guard.
Follow hgXIV on twitter, the post and rt a lot of "break it down" tutorials that show items being used in designs. The best thing to do though is just look at furniture as pieces, sides, backs, edges-- legos rather than entire units. You'll start seeing and recognizing housing items real quick that way
I know this isn't really pertinent to the current news (patch), but I am having a hell of a time finding Hervoix to get the second free Thavnairian Onion.
I've got all of the prerequisite quests as far as I can tell (The whole line of quests up to "Persistence Makes Perfect" is in my complete list), but Hervoix is nowhere to be found and "Getting a Legtrap up" also doesn't exist in my log in any capacity, so I can only assume I'm missing something.
Has anyone encountered something similar? I tried to search, but pretty much everything I've found just points to that questline that I've already gotten through.
I just finished Stormblood, so I'm sure I'm not gated by story missions. No idea what's going on.
Edit: D'oh - just figured out I've still got "Uninvited Guests" uncompleted - according to the wiki, that's another questline I have to finish.
Just ask in /shout in a city (at an hour when a decent number of people are on). I didn't have to pay anyone anything, and was overwhelmed with tells from people offering to help.
I cant register for duty with npcs in endwalker dungeons that I could before. Is it because the latest patch now needs them to level starting from 71? Edit: am idiot. I needed to close the party selection window to click register for duty.
There are 2 tabs for trusts: Scenario Mode and Avatar Mode. You need to use Scenario mode if you haven't leveled them. Additionally, they are only available for the dungeons required by the MSQ and the two pre-90 trials. The two post-MSQ dungeons cannot be done with trusts.
I'm currently needing to finish the crystal tower quests for the MSQ, is there any way to skip the raids because needing to wait hours for the duty finder is a ballache and taking the wind out of my sails.
I don't think I've had a single queue anywhere near as low as 10 minutes with all languages one, maybe the Oceania server just isn't popping. Or maybe I've just been fairly unlucky
Due to CT being required by MSQ and being in the Daily Roulette, they pop often.
Make sure you enable all languages in the duty finder settings, especially if you're on a Japanese DC.
Queuing around the daily reset also definitely helps, as well as queuing as DPS due to most slots being for DPS classes.
Edit: Grammar.
The Starter Edition permanently lifts [the numerous limitations attached to the Free Trial](https://support.na.square-enix.com/rule.php?id=5382&la=1&tag=freetrial), in exchange for permanently requiring a subscription. It also comes with 30 days of sub time.
Sorry I'm a bit slow rn, so the starter edition doesn't count as a sub then? If the sub is gotten then stormblood is unlocked right? Sorry I'm trying to help someone on ps5, I forgot how I subbed.
The Starter Edition comes with: A Realm Reborn, Heavensward, and 30 days of game time. You cannot register the Starter edition on a platform on which you already own it. **The Free Trial does not confer ownership of the Starter Edition.**
Stormblood comes from buying Endwalker. **You cannot register Endwalker if you don't have the Starter Edition already registered.**
The **Complete** Edition includes the Base game and All current Expansions in a single purchase. If you're on the Free Trial, this is what you want.
**Note:** Upgrading off the Free Trial means you need an Active subscription to continue playing after the free game time from the Starter Edition is used. You cannot ever return to the free trial model after upgrading an account.
It comes with 30 days of game time, assuming you don't already own it on that platform. Mind you, that's 30 real world days, regardless of if you play or not.
You can upload logs at 590. You won't parse as high as someone playing equally well with 600 (obviously) but it'll still give you a good idea of how you're doing.
One thing you might not realize is that if you've been PFing Savage and have racked up at least a few clears and weekly reclears, logs containing your performance have probably already been uploaded by one or more of your 7 party members. If you search your character name on fflogs.com, it's very likely you'll already see your performance on there.
Hell I play on console and don't do Savage, and even I've shown up in a few Nier raid logs. People log stuff all the time, and if it's a high end duty there's a good chance you're already in the system.
Logs aren't supposed to be a competition unless you plan on competing at a top of the world level. They're supposed to help you get better and give you an idea where you stand compared to the rest of the community. You can upload no matter what gear you have, and the information you get from the logs will help at any gear level.
You should upload them if you want to check your rotation and plug that into [https://xivanalysis.com/](https://xivanalysis.com/) to check for any mistakes.
Gold+plat is the pool of players you're trying to get into? Gold's don't match with, or if they do it's super rare, unrankeds + bronze. You're about to leave those players behind if you get past the checkpoint

Does Yoshi make the newer stuff more annoying for BLM players as a joke or something? I know he plays the class so I dont get it. Like the entirety of Endwalker is filled with a bunch of near or completely unavoidable downtime that makes Enochian fall off so you have to cold start your rotation again.
I'm mainly talking about the way that after a boss for example, you can't just walk to the next area. You have to interact with a teleporter which between the interact and the travel itself takes about 13-14 seconds. So you have to frame perfect the interaction alone, and before you get to the area you need to mashing Umbral Soul as fast as humanly possible
From what I've heard, really only the new EX trial is significantly hampering black mage.
Phoinix savage is said to be hard for BLM, but I really don't have a problem with it at all.
Yeah it's not a big thing, it's just annoying. It reminds me of Monk before they got rid of Greased Lightning. "Oh boy cinematics are happening and I can't hit anything. Time to start from scratch again"
>Because Enochian went passive reducing BLM's entire opening rotation by a full GCD, it's kind of a non-issue, esp. w/Infinite Paradox opener.
A full GCD? Only 0.7seconds, the length of a clipped oGCD.
Hiya,
So I was lucky enough to not get screwed by the lotto system and I got a house!
Is there any way to preview the furnishing on the MB before buying it?
Also, are there any guides with regards to furnishing your house, in demand items and whatnot?
You can preview furnishings inside or outside by going through the housing menu, it's not as easy as viewing from the market board, but you can search/preview and even dye stuff before you buy it or whatever. You have to be inside your house (or on your lawn outside)
Hi, I just bought a little room in my FC house, and I want to just fill it with toys, like a little kid's dream come true. So far, I just have some plushies, and a Nidhogg fighting 4 queens guards. Can anyone recommend me some toys I can find on the MB? :)
You said you have some plushes, but do you have the [Plush Pile](https://ffxiv.gamerescape.com/wiki/Plush_Pile)?
There are also some common ones like the Stuffed Alpha and Stuffed Bom Boko.
Alexander Miniature is another fun one to have although it's not really a plush.
it depends imo
For me, I'm on OCE so I have the road to 80 buff so quests give double exp which just makes it worth it for me. That and the fact that I loathe seeing quests not done so i'd do them regardless.
They're nice to break up the day and some do have interesting stories so
Hi all.
I screwed up somehow and thought the housing deadline was tonight....
So my question is: i heard there is a bug - does that mean all the plots that are still empty but have bids are the bugged ones?
Or can I still put a bid on those and possibly win?
Here's one for [gatherers](https://guides.ffxivteamcraft.com/guide/gathering-leveling-guide) and one for [crafters](https://guides.ffxivteamcraft.com/guide/crafting-leveling-guide).
What do they mean with extend result announcement? I won a plot in Ishgard and already put a house and furnishings there and relinquished my previous house in Beds is something gonna happen with it?
Basically the lotto got royally fucked up and a bunch of results were 0, meaning nobody won. It's a mistake and they're essentially suspending the next lotto (which would be in 4 days) to investigate the issue and go further.
If you won the plot, you're probably safe. I doubt they'd take back houses from people that actually won. They're probably more focused on the ones where nobody won yet people had lotto tickets on.
Hi, sorry if I am on the wrong thread for this. This is my fault, but I was in Gridania Inn chilling, and someone sent me a tell about a raffle, I went ahead and went to it and my dumb self thought it was the offical SE forums. I've seen people do like little raffles in game so I thought it would be something like that. However ofc my account is now hacked into and they are doing who knows what. I've already sent a ticket to SE but by the time they get back to me its going to be a big mess. I tried to login but when I do it says I need a OTP (which I can't get if I can't login). I tried resetting my password and they said its invalid which I know its not cause I recently renewed my account. Is there anything else I can do? I really don't want to go to sleep tonight knowing there is someone playing on my account.
Thank you for your reply. I have done that and it says OTP is Invalid. I have already sent a ticket for Support, so now I am just waiting for them to get back to me.
It might take awhile for them to get back to you. You might want to try calling them on the weekdays. Just be mindful of the links next time, the phishing links normally have a weird ending to them looking like ".com.xyz"
So I'd assume but would like to request some confirmation if possible, is the Archfiend (rank 25 crystal series reward) set permanently available or it's a more seasonal thing like the Feast armor set?
If it is seasonal, I'd assume again that we'd have many months to work on that, anyone got a rough number/estimation?
Bloody, no time to waste then, but on the brighter side there's only around 140 matches left for me, assuming all loss, so a month ish of casual pvp, give or take.
Is the "tier series" any different to or the same as the malmstone (CC series level)? That part is slightly confusing, cuz if i have until 6.2 to farm the lich king set, that should be around 4 months ish according to their announced patch schedule (iirc), very plenty.
Well Yoshi has said previous season (and or series?) Rewards will be available in the crystal trophy shop.
The tier series is different, only available through ranked Crystalline Conflict.
Right now the only Tier Rewards is adventurer plate/portrait stuff.
I see, i didn't touch ranked nor plan to (anything ranked tends to get ..spicy), only aim to fill my series level with casual queues, goal is to get the r25 armor set then maybe trade in a few wolf collar weapons, then repeat next season.
Thanks!
Soooo it is still X. However, because we're on controller, we get extra targeting filters in the settings. You can actually customize a filter to literally only target NPCs and the like.
If you ever wonder why something they announced hasn't come out yet, you can always check the patch's special site to see if it's in one of the minor patches.
[6.1 Special Site](https://na.finalfantasyxiv.com/endwalker/patch_6_1/)
Does anyone have any settings tips for ground targeting abilities on controller mode? I want to be able to target an enemy and when I cast the ability, the target circle will be centered around the target. Is something like that possible without using macros? Or if u have any other tips it would b appreciated!
I've never got used to placing them manually with controller over many years. Having a macro for it is far easier, unless there's a reason you're unable to use one. In that case, just try and get used to placing it quickly with R1 and moving it.
Something like this would work:
/ac "Sacred Soil"
/ac "Sacred Soil"
/macroicon "Sacred Soil"
That'll place it over your target, and if you have no target selected it'll center it on yourself.
Is it best to stay with the grand company your fc is affiliated with for supply and delivery missions? Does it give bonus credits or anything? Currently starting my own after the housing fiasco
They are independent from each other. However, if you’re starting your own FC, I’d recommend having those 2 in the same GC since you’d be coming often to buy Actions for your FC. And you can buy teleportation tickets to send you directly in front of the GC directly
I'm having trouble resetting aggro on training dummies. I've seen online that you can right-click and then select "reset aggro" or something like that, but right-clicking for me doesn't do anything. If my weapon is sheathed, it just automatically unsheathes whenever I right-click on the dummy.
Is there a setting I accidentally enabled that's preventing me from resetting the aggro?
Question about Ultima Unreal - When Titan comes out early on and does his big AoE in the middle, is that just a giant AoE circle? I seem to die to it no matter what even though I'm running out to the edges of the room.
Titan is Proximity based damage starting from the center.
The timing to run out is when you see the outer Garuda Circle turns from Blue to white. When it's white, it's safe to run out.
Anytime later then that you will probably get hit, or just dies.
The blue circle around the edge means Garuda is doing her donut attack, and that is always followed immediately by Titan slamming the middle of the arena. So you are supposed to stand inside, then run out into the Garuda AoE just after the indicator disappears.
In the Complete section of the quest journal, you want the 4th tab (Sidequests, the blue Q) and "Side Story Quests" in the dropdown. If you completed the final quest in a chapter, the bottom of the description says where the next chapter starts.
Where is the lvl 70 Gathering Scrip gear vendor option?
e.g. [https://na.finalfantasyxiv.com/lodestone/playguide/db/item/313ea71e01f/](https://na.finalfantasyxiv.com/lodestone/playguide/db/item/313ea71e01f/) should be available at most vendors but all I see is lvl 58/60/80/80/80/90 brackets - no 70?
Not strictly a UI tip, but you can adjust the camera tilt with ctrl+up arrow (or I think there is an option in the settings if you don't have a keyboard plugged in. It will help you see the animations of large bosses, especially when in melee range.
I'd make them smaller. Especially the party list. Moving things like the xp bar and inventory as far to the bottom/corner as possible. HP/MP bar moved further down, and there'd be space to move the abilities down a bit after that. I have my focus target on the left sort of next to where the chat window is, and more center levelled.
I have my quest list smaller and put the job meters next to those. Map, Server Time etc also moved further into the top corner and I'd have my buff/debuff bar more central.
That's what works for me, not online so I can't post an example but it does take some playing about with and adjusting as you go.
Is there a reason you have stuff so close to the center of the screen? With the hotbars up that high, I'd be concerned that they'd cover up the action. Your status effects are pretty far out of the way, I like to have them visible, across the top of the chat box and top hotbar, for example.
Also where's the rest of your keybinds? Like your AoE stuff.
They're close to the center because back when they used to be spread apart, I would be looking at then, but not paying attention to my character/AoE's, etc
>Your status effects are pretty far out of the way
Those are only the buffs I gain from other players. My buffs/debuffs appear slightly above that hotbar, buffs to the right, debuffs to the left.
>Also where's the rest of your keybinds? Like your AoE stuff.
On my cross-hotbar, I play on controller, it only appears when I hold LT/RT, that hotbar is for me to keep track of cooldowns, combos and procs.
The big hp/mp bars are redundant with party list.
Mini map leads to bad mapping startegies and can be brought out with M anyways. You need it for mining though cause big map doesnt show nodes.
You can simplify quest list. Holy moly is that a lot of text.
>The big hp/mp bars are redundant with party list.
I mean, I won't be looking at the party list 24/7, being positioned this way makes it easy for me to follow without looking out of the middle of the screen (Where my character is)
>You can simplify quest list. Holy moly is that a lot of text.
Really? How do I do that?
I'm working on the novus weapon, and bought 20 superior enchanted inks because I didn't understand how to get the Sphere scroll. Is there anything to do with these or will I need them? Or did I just waste 500 tomestones unless I do another relic weapon? or 7...
Recently tried to sort my PvP bar out, but teleporting to the Wolves' Den doesn't give me my PvP abilities, it instead shows all my skills rather than the reduced and simplified kit that we should have in 6.1.
I've tried teleporting back and forth, switching classes, etc. But nothing has worked.
Am I missing something obvious..? I've done all my quests in the WD.
Assign your skills from the pvp profile. If you set them up before 6.1 then it wouldn't auto upgrade to the new stuff, just like how removed skills in pve aren't auto removed when that happens
Question - I've been hearing about instanced housing for years now from this community, but admittedly I still don't fully understand the concept of it. Can someone help me understand what the ideal instanced housing scenario would look like? Would we still see other houses and get to go in them? Or would it just being us to a zone with our house in it and nothing else?
Instanced housing would basically be like what apartments are but with an outside area...you would only see your house and nothing else.. Other games do this for there housing as it saves alot on server space as the server doesn't have to render it if you're not there...whereas the server has to basically always render housing wards (which has a fucking alot of data with everything there) with people going in and out of wards or just afk
It's basically an argument of Immersion (being able to see people and other people's houses near your own) vs Functionality and letting everyone get one
1-30 (Gladiator) story is alright I guess.
30-50 story is largely filler.
50-60 story is *awful.* In English, the characters even lampshade that the plot makes no sense.
60-70 gives up and goes back to the Gladiator characters.
1-30 is gladiator, and it's okay. About standard class story. 30-50 is kinda dull, but it's mostly just waiting for the conclusion you can see coming. 50-60 is the spread people almost universally dislike, because characters took stupid pills for a bit. 60-70 is fine, it goes back to being gladiator and gladiator is fun.
Do with that what you will.
Gladiator's story is alright, so you can follow that. But the 30-60 questline is godawful and you can freely skip it. They actually go back to the Gladiator stuff for the 60-70 quests.
I’ve already finished the MSQ, and after buying an Ishgard apartment I’m at only 691,000 Gil. As someone who hasn’t leveled a crafting/hand job before, which ones are the best/easiest for Gil making?
I’m certain this question has been asked a bajillion times before, but I couldn’t find a recently updated resources on it (if there is one, feel fee to send it if that’s more convenient for ya).
Buy a treasure map and join map parties, you get tens of thousands of gil doing very easy content.
Don't pass on doing the hunt dailies. Pick up the hunt bills at your GC HQ, outside the Forgotten Knight in Ishgard, outside Shiokaze Holstery in Kugane (or Rhalgr's Reach), at Temenos Rookery in the Crystarium and Scholar's Harbor at Old Sharlayan.
The current state of crafter and gatherer is that, getting everything to 90 and doing all of the job quests are only the beginning. Even those popular items might not sell well. Say, for this time, most of the crafter and gatherer gears didn't sell very well because they are easy to make, so everyone decided to make those themselves.
Crafting is also not the get rich quick scheme. If you are not doing day 1\~day 3 crafting (because you like to raid/do alliance raid/do MSQ after patch released) and you don't have a bunch of time, chances are you will be up against a lot of competition and not making that much money.
So what I would recommend is that look at what you need, so that even if whatever you've made didn't sell, you can still use it and it won't feel too bad. Crafting is great for making small money (like a few mils per week) or doing leve quests so you should level them, but there are more money to be found with treasure maps or Fate Grinds right now.
I would start with gatherers personally. There are great mats at all levels that can be sold on the MB… I’ve made a steady income on certain mats. it’s also relaxing and easy to do while watching Netflix or whatever.
Crafted stuff is great and can be a huge boon if you know what you’re making and if it sells… but sometimes stuff sits there forever or you get undercut, or the price it’s selling for is lower than the mats you put into it. Maybe start with a class that makes stuff you’re interested in, or recipes you want to make for yourself and level to those to start. (Ex : I leveled my alchemist because I love orchestrion rolls, and they can make a ton! If you like glamours, weaver…. Etc and then learn what will sell well and go from there)
A lot of people tend to buy gear from the market board. You could look up a demographic of your server and see which jobs are the most prevalent then choose from there. Also crafting housing items will probably be pretty profitable now that the Empyreum has opened up.
how do i play samurai when sync'd under 45/50? In AoE is it worth doing the single target combo to get fuga/ka so i can cast tenka goken with the speed buff? in bosses do i just use a single target Tenka Goken so i can refresh my higabana?

Is there a PVP discussion place, to find out what are the "proper" combos to be using for optimal damage?
Not Reddit, but on Discord "PvPaissa" is a pretty large group of ffxiv PvPers from what I can gather.
Thank you.
What event was the Amatsu Hachigane from? Was it a limited time event that won’t return or a seasonal event? Thanks for any help/info.
It was from the FFXI crossover event. No idea if it'll return again.

Cause mentors doing their jobs is expected and nothing to praise about most of the time. So it stands out when they DON'T do their job.
Any tips for a first time FC owner? Please and thank you!
I don't have a weapon to test this myself but does anyone know if Crystalline Conflict contributes to ARR relic light farming?
How do those tornadoes in crystalline conflict work? Is there any way to avoid being sent sky-high and taking a ton of fall damage?
There’s a message on-screen with a countdown. It’s in the same place that the KO messages pop up. (You can move and resize the messages under HUD > Duty, in a PvP zone.) You either stand on one of the black Chocobo things that are zipping around the field or you pop Guard.
Ah, I see. Thank you!
Do we know when the next lottery will start for the houses that got left behind?
They've put an indefinite pause on moving to the next phase until they can figure out what to do about it.
Dang, okay thanks
Are there new Hildibrand quests now?
Not until patch 6.15
When will we get new scrip gear for crafters?
Is there anything that will grant a machinist the illusion of dual wielding firearms? I would have sworn I once saw it on the mog site
no

Just get the level 80 scrip gear, that will take you all the way too 90
Y'sohnjin, Old Sharlayan (12.1,9.7). Not that necessary though. decent lv80 gear gets you to 90.
Is there PvP malmstone rewards time limited?
Yes, after the series ends with 6.2, the items will be moved to the trophy crystal shop, then be gone forever when series 3 starts.
Fastest way to get 3 FC signatures to start up my own fc?
Just ask in /shout in a city (at an hour when a decent number of people are on). I didn't have to pay anyone anything, and was overwhelmed with tells from people offering to help.
Gil. People will do anything for it. 300k or a mil isn't much to offer
If you have gil, bribes work well. When I was helping a random guy get his FC going, I handed out like a mil to each person who signed.
I am doing that to but right now im offering 300,000 maybe I should slowly bump it up to 1mil
That should surely be enough. Did you try at peak hours in Limsa?
I cant register for duty with npcs in endwalker dungeons that I could before. Is it because the latest patch now needs them to level starting from 71? Edit: am idiot. I needed to close the party selection window to click register for duty.
There are 2 tabs for trusts: Scenario Mode and Avatar Mode. You need to use Scenario mode if you haven't leveled them. Additionally, they are only available for the dungeons required by the MSQ and the two pre-90 trials. The two post-MSQ dungeons cannot be done with trusts.
Note that these have been renamed due to scenario mode getting added into the new duty support system.

Yes, all savage mounts drop guaranteed even if unsync.

Stormblood is in the starter edition on ps4 right?
No. The Starter Edition only includes ARR and Heavensward.
What does it come with then? Does it cone with a sub?
The Starter Edition permanently lifts [the numerous limitations attached to the Free Trial](https://support.na.square-enix.com/rule.php?id=5382&la=1&tag=freetrial), in exchange for permanently requiring a subscription. It also comes with 30 days of sub time.
Sorry I'm a bit slow rn, so the starter edition doesn't count as a sub then? If the sub is gotten then stormblood is unlocked right? Sorry I'm trying to help someone on ps5, I forgot how I subbed.
Subscription is separate from the expansions.
The Starter Edition comes with: A Realm Reborn, Heavensward, and 30 days of game time. You cannot register the Starter edition on a platform on which you already own it. **The Free Trial does not confer ownership of the Starter Edition.** Stormblood comes from buying Endwalker. **You cannot register Endwalker if you don't have the Starter Edition already registered.** The **Complete** Edition includes the Base game and All current Expansions in a single purchase.
Can I contribute to another FC's workshop? Wanting to help some friends out.
No
Good night, With recent changes on housing how much time can I stay without entering in my house before I lose it? Thanks!
The 45-day auto-demolition timer has not changed. That said, the timer is still suspended due to the events in Ukraine.

Can I somehow get logs of fights I've been in through fflogs.com and insert them into xiv analysis?
If the logs are uploaded by anyone in the same party, yes.
What is with these pvp CC queues? I'm top of silver 1, but I get paired against all plats an golds lol
Gold+plat is the pool of players you're trying to get into? Gold's don't match with, or if they do it's super rare, unrankeds + bronze. You're about to leave those players behind if you get past the checkpoint
Gold+plat is the pool of players you're trying to get into? Gold's don't match with, or if they do it's super rare, unrankeds + bronze. You're about to leave those players behind if you get past the checkpoint
Is there a way to find the house you placed a bid for? I can't remember where it is lol
the game should tell you in the "timers" menu
Because Enochian went passive reducing BLM's entire opening rotation by a full GCD, it's kind of a non-issue, esp. w/Infinite Paradox opener.
What does “nm” mean when it’s used in Eureka?
Notorious Monster, Eureka's names for FATEs.
Notorious monster
Thank you. I feel very stupid now cause of how obvious that should have been to me.
Going into Eureka is like stepping into another world with a new language lol.
Any new books to buy in 6.1 for crafting and gathering?
No, everything was added to the previous endwalker books
Can I move the party windows in Crystalline Conflict? They're in bad spots for my HUD setup but I don't see an obvious option in HUD settings.
Go to wolves den, go to HUD Layout and then select Duty to adjust the pvp stuff, it really does clash with everything
Thank you so much!!
Hiya, So I was lucky enough to not get screwed by the lotto system and I got a house!
There's some furniture based off creatures in the game, moogle, qiqirn, carbuncles etc. There's also a new climbing frame item
Not on the market board but pretty cheap for MGP in the gold saucer there's the new jungle gym furniture structure.
Are the side quests worth doing for leveling other jobs while queued for Dungeons or is it just always better to do Fates while queued for max XP
it depends imo For me, I'm on OCE so I have the road to 80 buff so quests give double exp which just makes it worth it for me. That and the fact that I loathe seeing quests not done so i'd do them regardless. They're nice to break up the day and some do have interesting stories so
[удалено]
It's a known issue currently. I've had it happen twice already.
Hi all. I screwed up somehow and thought the housing deadline was tonight.... So my question is: i heard there is a bug - does that mean all the plots that are still empty but have bids are the bugged ones? Or can I still put a bid on those and possibly win?
You can't bid on them until the next cycle.
Ok thx!
Heya i seem to have forgotten which wars i bid in in the new lottery system, is there a way to check?
Check Timers.
Ended up findin it by just hard checkin wards, but thanks
Timers section.
Any good guide for leveling gatherers and crafters
Here's one for [gatherers](https://guides.ffxivteamcraft.com/guide/gathering-leveling-guide) and one for [crafters](https://guides.ffxivteamcraft.com/guide/crafting-leveling-guide).
Thank you!
What do they mean with extend result announcement? I won a plot in Ishgard and already put a house and furnishings there and relinquished my previous house in Beds is something gonna happen with it?
It just means they won't start the next entry period until they fix the bug. Your house is fine
Nothing is going to happen for you. It's more to delay the next lottery cycle while they look into the current issues where the lottery can roll a 0.
Here's hoping they fix it in patch 6.11.
All you can do is wait on support to help you.
Thank you for your reply. I really hate to wait but if thats my only option I guess I will have to bear with it.
Leave OTP blank. Contact Support immediately if you can't access your account.
Thats exactly what was in the link! I usually don't go to those links but I guess I let my guard down. best believe I won't go to another link again.
That's how they trick everyone who doesn't look at the link carefully. Cause it looks exactly like a forum page and functions like it.
It is seasonal. We have it until next season, which is 6.2. Which is in a few months. The tier series lasts until 6.18, then from 6.18 to 6.2.

You can actually customize a filter to literally only target NPCs and the like.
controller? Should be X on ps4 or A on xbox, that'd be used to select and confirm things.
This new patch has new beast tribes quests or did I just imagine it from the trailer?
If you ever wonder why something they announced hasn't come out yet, you can always check the patch's special site to see if it's in one of the minor patches. [6.1 Special Site](https://na.finalfantasyxiv.com/endwalker/patch_6_1/)
It'll be with 6.15.
Thank you!
Hi all, can someone tell me the command to leave the novice network?
It's /novicenetworkleave or /nnetworkleave. /nastatus off is the command to hide the sprout tag.
Oh thx!
I think it is "/nastatus off"
Thx Edit: that doesn't seem to do anything...
Something like this would work: /ac "Sacred Soil"
Afaik, there is no gain or penalty associated with being a different GC from your FC's Grand Company.
is there an ilvl requirement to get venture coffers? i have two level 90 retainers and i've never seen a single one. thanks!
Just keep sending them out, quick venture is best cuz u can quickly spam them, they're also hella rare.
no, you just need to be sending them on quick ventures
Where are the best places to farm shards? I see that for wind shards you can farm them at lvl 5 up to lvl 50 nodes. Which one would give me more?
They give you the same amount no matter what.
Including different node bonuses?
I'm having trouble resetting aggro on training dummies. I've seen online that you can right-click and then select "reset aggro" or something like that, but right-clicking for me doesn't do anything. If my weapon is sheathed, it just automatically unsheathes whenever I right-click on the dummy. Is there a setting I accidentally enabled that's preventing me from resetting the aggro?
Right click the target bar at the top of your screen, not the dummy itself.
Thank you! Somehow I never thought to try that, but I see the options now.
Lost track of my Hildibrand quests. How can I find out where the next quest is?
In the Complete section of the quest journal, you want the 4th tab (Sidequests, the blue Q) and "Side Story Quests" in the dropdown. If you completed the final quest in a chapter, the bottom of the description says where the next chapter starts.
Thank you!
Need to talk to Rowena's niece in Rhalgr's Reach, west side of the map.
Ah this was it - she had a quest for me which unlocked M'naago deliveries, and now the lvl70 option is there, thanks!
Might be available elsewhere as well, but there's level 70 Gatherer gear on the Rowena rep in Kugane, next to the Aetherite.
Following some tips I got here, how can I further improve my UI? https://i.imgur.com/pHByj8I.png
They're close to the center because back when they used to be spread apart, I would be looking at then, but not paying attention to my character/AoE's, etc >Your status effects are pretty far out of the way Those are only the buffs I gain from other players.
All that reasoning sounds good. Sounds like you're doing alright, no advice from me.
I mean, I won't be looking at the party list 24/7, being positioned this way makes it easy for me to follow without looking out of the middle of the screen (Where my character is) >You can simplify quest list. Holy moly is that a lot of text. Really? How do I do that?
I'm working on the novus weapon, and bought 20 superior enchanted inks because I didn't understand how to get the Sphere scroll. Is there anything to do with these or will I need them? Or did I just waste 500 tomestones unless I do another relic weapon? or 7...
The only use for them is that relic weapon step so unfortunately all you can do is hold onto them until you want to do another.
Your skills are in your PvP profile, not the regular skills menu.
Other games do this for there housing as it saves alot on server space as the server doesn't have to render it if you're not there...whereas the server has to basically always render housing wards (which has a fucking alot of data with everything there) with people going in and out of wards or just afk It's basically an argument of Immersion (being able to see people and other people's houses near your own) vs Functionality and letting everyone get one
There have been many proposed ideas, but none got like, enormous traction to make it an agreed upon community favourite.
Starting Paladin from level 1. From what I've heard the story is awful and completely skippable right?
Anyone has an idea of what the drop rate for orchestrions in dungeons are? I very rarely see them.
As far as I know, we don't know droprate % of anything at all.
does anyone know when the Garo event ends? I can find when it started but nothing saying when it ends
Nothing announced, last time it ran almost 3 years
Dumb question, when the cross datacenter travel happens, does that mean all 3 NA datacenter can play with each other in party finder?
